After what happened, Haruka thought that Mei would leave. But instead, she returned with them. Unlike earlier, though she seemed to tremble the whole time, "Haruka, can I hold on to you?"
"Don't touch my hand."
Mei immediately followed that instruction and just tugged on his sleeve. To bystanders watching, though, it looked intimate. So after Haruka was sure Mei wasn't shaking anymore, he let's go. But people in the area were still gossiping.
Austin Kiryu had walked over to Lila after exchanging words with Ichiko Daiki.
"Kiryu?"
"Hey, nice form, you're doing well."
Lila laughed, "Um, I somehow ended up practicing too."
Kiryu laughed, "That doesn't surprise me at all," he lightly ran his hand through the girl's hair, "Good work, Lila."
"En! Thank you."
What is wrong with these two? What's with this lovey-dovey atmosphere? It makes him sick. Thankfully Austin Kiryu didn't talk long with Lila, and after handing her the letter and exchanging some more words, he abruptly left.
His girlfriend made her way across the room and tugged on his arm, "Say Haruka?"
"What?" he was still snappy, even though Austin Kiryu left.
"Kiss, please."
Haruka looked at his girlfriend, amused, his lips curve to a smile. Is she trying to stake his claim asking for a kiss in front of so many people? Well, he doesn't dislike that idea.
"Sit on my lap."
Lila shyly played with her hands, "People will look."
Won't they look if they start kissing? "Lila, just come here."
His girlfriend meekly did so and sat on his lap.
"Haruka, don't be upset," Lila murmured as she ran her hand through his hair, "Kiryu only gave me something from his parents."
"I don't like how they are still latching on to you. You're my wife."
"Ah-huh, I know."
Does she know? Forget it. Haruka buried his face in her breasts.
"Wait Haruka; people are looking this way."
"I don't care about them," Haruka murmured, "Your mine."
Lila deeply sighed, "I know I am. Just calm down for a moment, will you? I'm saying if you want to do this, we can go somewhere else."
Sensing her impatient tone, Haruka pulled away from her. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and stood up, "I'll go out to smoke."
"Haruka."
He gently kissed her forehead, "I'm not angry, don't make that face."

Car parking Lot
Haruka returned to the car parking area because he wanted to smoke. This building from the looks of it banned smoking, and Haruka would not risk it. 'How stupid,' he thought. If it were in the past, that would not have bothered him at all. He's changed a lot because of Lila.
Contrary to what it looked like, he wasn't angry. But Haruka did feel frustrated; he felt frustrated that even now Lila is not truly his alone. Frustrated knowing that even now, there is somebody else who can make her smile.
Just as he was about to dwell on these thoughts though, somebody snatched his cigarette away. Haruka turned and found the culprit to be his girlfriend, "Your practice."
"I'm getting bored now."
That's clearly a lie; she looked like she was having so much fun. Haruka pulled her into his arms and inhaled her scent, "I get jealous over the most stupid things."
Lila laughed, "I know that already."
"You know, and yet you're still with me?"
"Because isn't it the same for me? When you chased after Aizawa-San earlier, I got a vision of the future. One day you'll leave me, in the same manner, won't you?"
Haruka frowned. He didn't think she was overthinking what happened earlier. "I don't care about her that way."
Lila gently caressed his face, "But, you still thought to chase after her. If she meant nothing, you'd just ignore her."
'Damn,' Haruka thought.
"Haruka, I'm not stopping you from talking to other girls. That would be wrong of me, and I won't stop anybody from liking you either."
"Why?"
Lila sighed, "I'm not that petty, you know? Why would I stop other people's feelings, that would be cruel of me, but," her fingers brushed across his lips, "I like you a lot Haruka. You're mine, I don't have to fend these witches away. At least that's what I thought originally. But, that girl is pushing her luck with me. So if I'm brutal from now on, don't stop me okay?"
Haruka didn't know how to react to this. Is his girlfriend -- rather his wife asking him permission to destroy all the other girls who go near him? He thought it was cute that she was doing his best for him a lot lately. But her learning to make bar food for him, all of a sudden doesn't feel as special as before.
This, however, felt special, he tightened his hold around the girl's waist, "So, how brutal will you be?"
Lila blushed, "Don't make fun of me. I'm serious about this Haruka. You keep letting your guard down too much. I know you're a kind person, but you didn't have to chase after her."
"Yeah, my bad," Haruka didn't even know why he went after her. It just felt like he ought to, "I won't do those things anymore, so don't sulk, yeah?"
"Ameno-senpai is too harsh; I didn't think he would threaten her."
"Why is that guy doing so much for you, anyway?"
Lila blinked, "Hmmmm," she trailed off, "I don't get it myself. But maybe because he's my teacher?"
"You asked Tachibana Ameno to teach you music. Why him? Isn't Ichiko Daiki more qualified?" Rather at least with Ichiko Daiki, Haruka would not have had to worry, "Did he do anything to you before?"
At that comment, the girl hits him, "Ameno-senpai is very serious about music, so don't insult him like that, okay?"
Haruka didn't know what got into him. But once he heard Lila say those words. He found himself pinning her against the pillar.
"What?"
"I don't like you praising other men."
"Haruka, your too possessive. Have I ever told you that?"
"Possessive, fine, whatever. Just refrain yourself from talking about other men in my presence."
Lila looked at him with a complicated look in her eyes, "I'm friends with loads of guys Haruka. What if I'm hanging out with them when you call me, do I have to lie to you?"
"Who says you'll be hanging out with other men?"
He won't let her be alone with a random guy anymore.
"Haruka, you know this is very unreasonable of you," she lightly touched his arm, "Don't be this way okay?"
Is he acting too unreasonable? But Haruka always felt uncomfortable whenever he saw those other guys around her.
"Why are you so jealous about Mei?" Haruka was curious.
"There you go again!" Lila puffed her cheeks up in annoyance, "Calling her Mei!"
"You know, it's just a name."
"It isn't. It shows you like her."
Haruka didn't know what to say. For him, it was just a name, but it seemed like for Lila there was a hidden meaning behind it."Mei is a friend," Haruka nodded, "But if you don't like her this much. I won't talk to her anymore."
Sure, when they first met that happened. But Haruka didn't think of her that way.
"I just told you I won't be a petty woman. I'm only mean to her because she's crossing the line."
"You mean what happened at the hotel?" Lila nodded, and he sighed, "She was drugged and tricked. It was the same with the recent stage thing too."
"Haruka, you keep standing up for her."
"Well, I pity her. She keeps getting tricked. Do you really think a woman like that is capable of messing with you? Think, only one woman has stood in your way."
"Rosalia-chan?"
"Right," Haruka sighed, "That's the one you have to watch out for."
"Are you still meeting with her?"
"You don't have to worry about it," he gently pulled her cheeks, gosh her lips look so pretty. He wants to kiss her.
"Are we going to kiss?"
"You keep talking about kissing, what's with you?"
"Because we can't do anything indecent in public anymore. We have to make do with kissing until we get home."
Haruka laughed; this girl is so funny. "I know I agreed with you on that matter. But, I'm a man who likes to break my promise."
"Y--you can't break this one."
"Why not?" he licked his lips, "Your trembling, don't you want me?"
Before he could hear her reply, he hears a sharp voice call out to him, "Haruka! We have to go to the company, the boss called us."
Haruka turned and saw Mei waiting by his car. The boss? Is it the boss, or Zane? A deep sigh escaped his lips, probably the latter. If it were the boss, he wouldn't call Mei. Haruka looked back at the girl in his arms and frowned. He doesn't want to let Lila go now.
"Can I come with you?"
"Huh? But..."
The one who called is surely Zane.
