To be perfectly honest, Haruka never properly watched the interaction between Lila and Austin Kiryu before. He would watch a little and then look away. Haruka felt like if he ever saw how well the two got along with each other, he would surrender right away.

After a little while, Riku returned with a fancy-looking chair, and Haruka sighed. "Where did you get that from?"

Riku winked, "It's for privileged guests."

What privilege guests? This is a tattoo parlor. Haruka shook his head, well at least she will be comfortable. "Sit down," Haruka pointed to the chair. Seeing Lila not budging, he picked her up and placed her on the chair, "I'll be right over here, stay put."

Lila laughed, "This is a good place for staring."

His lips curve in amusement, 'she really enjoys her staring, huh?' Haruka thought. A few minutes later, though, he caught Lila looking over at Austin Kiryu who was getting the tattoo on his back fixed up. When Haruka saw it though, his frown deepened. It was faint, but it was practically a picture of Lila.

"Oi, are you stirring me up on purpose? And you, quit looking," Haruka scolded at Lila and Kiryu.

"B--but, I didn't think it was actually me."

"You've seen it before though," Kiryu said.

Lila blushed, and Haruka frowned. Of course, she's seen it before. Quite some time had passed since he last thought about it, but recalling it now irritated him. Austin Kiryu has seen Lila's body before him. He explored everything about her body before he touched her. In return, Lila also saw Austin Kiryu's body too. How many times did these two have sex? It bothered him greatly.

Maybe Lila noticed his irritation since she stood up and walked over. He extended his hand out, and Lila grabbed hold of it as he pulled her onto his lap. This bothered the person doing his arm tattoo. But he said nothing and murmured, "Children and their relationships."

Haruka rolled his eyes and pressed his lips on Lila's neck.

Startled the girl said, "St--stupid, stop."

"I said I'd play nice, but your indirect flirting is bugging me," Haruka trailed off. He felt guilty that Austin Kiryu walked in on them earlier.

"If you give her too many marks, she will get mad at you," Kiryu spoke up since he didn't react right away. Haruka thought he succeeded in upsetting him. But for some reason, he seemed casual.

What's with that reaction?

Lila nodded, "Ah-huh, correct."

Don't agree with him dam it.

"I'm used to it, you know. Before you, Lila was kissing Oujiro in middle school. And guys would steal her lips all the time."

"Wait! We didn't kiss that much," Lila exclaimed.

"You did quite often though."

"Quit it already, that was the past."

The past, huh? The past where he wasn't around. It upset Haruka whenever he thought about it. How many years of Lila's life did he miss? It bothered him greatly.

"Haruka, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Lila asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

That was a lie, of course. He wasn't fine at all. Lila must have realized that too since she gently caressed his cheeks, "I'm here for you Haruka, so you don't have to worry about anything."

'Your part of the reason why though,' Haruka thought bitterly. If Lila knew that she was causing him pain, would she blame herself? Of course, she would, she's that type of person after all.

"Haruka?"

"Date," he murmured softly against her ear, "Where do you want to go?"

"The aquarium !" Lila beamed.

"Aquarium, huh?" he repeated. That's an average date spot, isn't it? But he supposes it would be better to go to a place like that. Things that have anything to do with the stars like the planetarium end up reminding her of Austin Kiryu after all.

"It's cold there," Kiryu pointed out, "Make sure you wear a jacket."

"Ah! Okay."

Haruka's eyes twitched in annoyance. Why is he interrupting them again? Is this guy purposely trying to stir him up? Just as Haruka said that, Kiryu suddenly spoke up.

"I wrote you a song," Kiryu muttered and gestured for one of the assistants to get the bag. "But," Kiryu turned to him, "It's up to your manager if you can sing it or not."

"Kiryu's song?" Lila looked over at him with her cute eyes and Haruka cursed. Don't peer pressure him like that.

Haruka deeply sighed, "Give me that," honestly it interested him. If Austin Kiryu wrote Lila a love song, he would reject it. Not just because of his personal feelings but simply because it would be bad for her image. Right now, Haruka is doing whatever he can to improve her image.

"Not a love song?"

Kiryu sighed, "How low do you think I am? If I'm going to do that, I'll ask behind your back."

Lila hits him, "What love song! Don't sound disappointed, geez."

"Sorry babe," he gently kissed her forehead, "But you can't blame me for being cautious."

"I know that, but still."

Haruka saw her expression and turned to the person doing his tattoo, "Can I stand up for a bit?"

"Please come back in a few minutes," he must have read the situation too. "Riku, I'm going out back," Haruka called out.

....

Backroom

"Hey, don't get sulky babe. You do understand why I asked, right?"

Lila nodded, "I do get it, but," she tightened her hold on him, "I thought you'd trust me more."

Haruka apologized by giving her a light kiss.

"You look good. Going somewhere fancy?" These weren't the clothes she was wearing earlier.

Lila rolled her eyes, "After Misaki-san leaves, were having a date."

Oh? Haruka raised his eyebrows at this comment, "When was this decided?"

"Today."

Well, he knows that "I like this outfit a lot, you look so good," Haruka murmured in her ear. He has a thing for the

"Well, thanks?"

Haruka smirked. What's with that reaction? Is she trying to act coy with him? Haruka brought his lips to her ear.

"Wh---wait, you said we wouldn't do it again until tonight."

"It's after work hours, give me a break," Haruka muttered.

Lila sighed, "I look awful right now, I only had time to change clothes. I'm probably still sweaty."

That's what she's worried about? Even though before Lila wasn't so conscious about her appearance, "You always look good to me."

"I know that," she shyly replied, "Could you move your face away, please?"

"Why? Am I turning you on babe?"

Lila's cheeks puffed into a pout and he pulled away from her. Guess that's not enough teasing for now, "So, what will you do about the song?"

"I want to sing it, but would you mind?"

"I do on a personal level. But on a professional level as your manager, this is a very good song," Haruka recalled the music he briefly scanned earlier, "If you sing this, you'll get ahead of the other participants."

"It's that good?"

Haruka sighed, "Yeah, I hate to admit it. But that guy wrote you a very good song. Of course, it's up to you to decide whether to sing it. It seems like you want to?"

"Ah-huh, but if your uncomfortable Haruka. I'll refuse."

This girl, why is she thinking about him over her career? Is she stupid or something? Then again, Lila did make it clear to him that she prioritizes their relationship over everything. It still felt overwhelming to him, her love. Haruka can tell that the girl seriously loves him. He reached over and interlocked strands of her hair with his fingers and started to kiss it.

"What are you doing, Haruka?"

"I don't mind, sing it. I'm happy you care about our relationship so much. But I want your career to get better," Haruka muttered, "Before you go on your break."

Lila blushed, "Um, for the wedding and honeymoon, right?"

Haruka's lips curve to a smile, "I was thinking, time off to get you pregnant."

"Wh--"

"Well, it seems like the way things are now you're too pressured to get pregnant," Haruka nodded. Even though they do it every day, Lila still isn't pregnant yet. At first, he thought there was a problem with one of them. But both their medical health records say they are okay. Lila has frail health, yes, but even then there are no problems with her getting pregnant.

"I want you to have my children; I want to start a family with you. Lila," he trailed off, "So, uh, yeah."

Even though he said all this easily earlier, Haruka felt himself getting nervous again.

It's so stupid, feeling this way. But Haruka couldn't help it. He felt embarrassed, too, and looked away from her.

"Un, okay. I get it, me too. I want to have your children Haruka."

Haruka turned red at the girl's words. He didn't actually think she would admit it. Maybe he underestimated her.

"Haruka, I'll do my best."

"Having sex?"

Lila shyly nodded, "There's that, and other things," she hugged him, "I will work hard so people will stop saying such negative things about our relationship."

She's so adorable when she puts in the effort for him.

....

When the two of them exit, Haruka was aware that half an hour had passed. So they didn't just talk, and they made out a little. But this time around, he wasn't the one who initiated it. It was all her. Haruka was ready to apologize to Austin Kiryu, but the man had left already. He frowned, "Hey, did he just leave?"

Riku nodded, "He left the song on the table with a note, seemed like he had some urgent business to attend to."

Lila walked over and picked it up. Her eyes brightened, "Kiryu said he would go to the planetarium with me!"

"You asked him already?"

"Ah-huh, I messaged him."

So they've been exchanging messages like Mei told him after all. Haruka shook his head, the moment he acts like a jealous brat about it that's when he loses. Haruka nodded, "Put that away, for now, you can continue watching me."

Lila laughed, "Okay, but," Lila looked over at the tattoo he was getting re-done, "Do you have to get that done again?"

Haruka nodded, "Mm," he pointed to the faint lines between the pattern on his arm, "You see? There are scars there. It'll become noticeable."

"Scars?" Lila frowned and put the music down on the desk. She walked over and reached for his arm, Her frown deepened once she examined the marks on his skin, "When did you do this?"

"A long time ago, when I was on the verge of despair. " Haruka smiled, "Don't worry; I stopped doing that."

"But," Lila murmured, "You did it once, is it..because you didn't have me? I heard that there are two ways for hanyous to cope with not drinking the blood of their loved one. One, tablets. Two, self-harm."

Seems like she knows about it. He supposes there is no need to lie at this stage. Haruka nodded, "That's right; at some point, I harmed myself because I couldn't take it anymore."
