7:00PM - Victoria Apartments

Three hours later, Haruka ended up bringing Sophia back. Mikami offered but Yumeko dragged him away for something. The blonde didn't want to leave him with Sophia, so it surprised him when she left like that.

"Geez, why did you get yourself so drunk? Don't you know your limits," Haruka lectured the woman who was in his arms.

"Your fault."

It's his fault now? How annoying. Haruka eventually arrived in front of a room. This should be the place she is staying in. When Haruka entered the place, it surprised him how much it resembled their old apartment. It did cross his mind that perhaps Sophia is lonely too.

But he quickly shook that thought out of his mind.

"Hey, if you can't drink so much. Why did you?"

"Socializing is important you know," Sophia slured. He shook his head and brought her over to the couch.

02:30am

A deep sigh escaped his lips when he saw the time on the phone. So much for heading back right away. Would Lila still be asleep? He should call her just in case she waited up. His thoughts broke of when he felt Sophia's lips on his own. She was kissing him heavily and with so much passion. For a moment Haruka froze, he didn't know what to do. But eventually, Haruka shoved the girl of and ran his hand through his hair. 'Damn it,' he thought. What was he thinking bringing her back home? This is Sophia he is talking about. Surely she planned all this.

.....

Haruka knew he should have just left, but his eyelids felt so heavy. He didn't think he would fall into a deep slumber. But he did, so when he woke up the next morning. With Sophia naked beside him, and his own clothes of. He panicked and froze.

The girl beside him bursts into laughter, "You should have seen how panicked you looked just now."

".."

"Relax, nothing happened. But I did have some fun."

His gaze darted towards the mirror and saw his chest covered in hikies. He frowned, no wonder he woke up with her scent around him. "Quit fooling around. Give me my clothes back."

"And then you'll return to her?"

"Of course."

Sophia rolled her eyes, "You can't leave anyway. The roads are blocked out due to the storm."

"Damn, you did this on purpose."

"Your to blame. How dare you ignore me?" Sophia walked over to the bed and pushed him down. "I've missed you so much, why did you abandon me for a girl like that?"

His gaze dimmed at how sincere Sophia's words were. "I told you before. Don't get attached to me."

"But Haruka, did you really think it through? We spent so much time with one another, and you always rescued me. We even lived together. Did you really think nothing would happen?"

This was a first for Haruka, seeing Sophia act this way. No, he saw it before. He hasn't seen her like this in a very long time. Was she putting on a front this entire time then?

It didn't matter if she was. He already has Lila.

...

Almost like the storm was mocking him, the snow storm continued for the next few days. He didn't take on Sophia's offer to live with her, and simply stayed in an apartment he rented nearby. It was small, and cramped. However Haruka didn't mind, he didn't want Lila to misunderstanding anything. The second the roads are safe, he will drive back to her.

From: Wife

I miss you Haruka, I'm so lonely.

I keep crying.

Geez, so helpless.

Haruka stepped into his apartment, to find somebody else there.

Indeed it was none other than his ex girlfriend, stood wearing a white long sleeve polar neck top and pleated skirt, by his kitchen. Huh? She's cooking, or rather is that such a good idea?

"Sophia? What are you---"

"Ah your back. Hold on don't talk to me right now I'm concentrating."

"Don't you need a hand..?"

"No let me do this! Just take a seat." Sophia said motioning him over to the dinning table.

Haruka does as she says and yet he glanced  over at the blonde haired girl. Exactly where did she get the idea to cook from? After that disaster the last time too. Yet he noted that there was something different, Sophia's expression looked like she was really concentrating. How unusual, he hasn't seen her pull that sort of face since they dated in high school. After all the Makino now is the singer of a small band and the number one in the red light district. She's completely different to that girl he dated before, at least he kept telling himself that.

Clattering sounds were heard and he watches as she placed the dishes on the table. .. Well at least the appearance doesn't look as disasterous as before. Makino sits opposite him and wiped her forehead, it was clear as day that she was sweating. If she was that tired she didn't have to go through all this-- he pauses in mid thought seeing her badndaged up fingers. She attempted to hide them but realised it was futile.

"I...This is too apologise for before. I really am sorry, but I really do mean those words about you going to see your wife without me. I didn't really get into a relationship after ours since I've been too busy. But from my boyfriends before and my friends, I know that something like this should be done without your ex girlfriend. Haruka you, your far different to how you were before. I realised it the second we met again, I teased you a little bit like before and you didn't respond like how you were before. When I've visited the TV station to see you at work I realised that you've changed a lot in contrast to back when we were dating. Yet whenever you hold me in your arms, it's still the same as before and it's then I realised that maybe I've taken this too far. Even if I did want to see how different you were, I shouldn't have lead you on knowing you had a girlfriend. Although I have been providing you with information like you wanted I know your guilt has grown even more than before. How to put it, it's not as though I was bent on teasing you.. " she trails of and takes a deep breath, "When I saw how much your life changed I realised that mine had too. I didn't want that."

A deep sigh passed his lips when he heard Sophia's little speech. He suspected this since the first day. But, who would have thought she would admit it to him like this?

It wasn't long before Sophia's hands were touching his bare skin, her warmth sending strange shivers down his body. Her light touch trickled lower and lower, until she unhooked his pants as well.

He stopped her hands, "Don't."

"Haruka..."

Haruka shook his head, "Don't say all that stuff about being serious, only to do this in the end. Do you think this is fun and games? If you like me, show me your sincere. Don't bother with stupid things like this."

"Why are you acting so formal for? Don't fuss, just let yourself go. Let's do it Haruka."

Before Sophia could proceed though, he feels a dangerous aura and glanced up. "Yumeko," Haruka blinked in surprise when he saw the blonde haired girl.

"Ahem, didn't you said you'd help me with my song?"

Oh right, he did promise her that. Haruka nodded and pulled Sophia from him. "Let me get you a drink."

Sophia frowned, "Why does she get to stay and not me?"

"Because unlike you, Yumeko has no hidden intentions."

"Haaha, like that's possible. She's coming over here in the middle of the night like this. No motives? You can't fool me."

Geez, he really doesn't want to deal with such stupid things. Haruka stood up and walked over to the mini kitchen. He missed Lila's cooking, her scent and her cheerful smile whenever they cooked together. It seems like he's very hopeless when he isn't with her.
