Kasumi couldn't believe it. Why does this man pop out of nowhere? Wasn't he in Light Town? How come he's suddenly back here in Star Town? Then again, Lila and Karashima travelled back here last night too. It shouldn't surprise her and yet it does. Her gaze fell on Mikami who wore his usual trademark grin on his face.
"I don't want to see you."
Mikami laughed, "So, straightforward. But, I know you've missed me darling. So don't deny it."
"Who gave you such a crazy idea?" Kasumi exclaimed. Why would she miss this jerk who completely got the wrong idea about her. Back then in France, she was getting bullied. She used Kazuma as a shield.
"Is it...really you? Ah, is he see through."
After that time he appeared when Karashima asked, she hadn't seen him around at all. Kasumi should have been great full for that, since it meant the harassment stopped. But somehow she felt lonely. Maybe she is seeing things. Why would Mikami of all people be here? No, more importantly why would he appear before her and with such a gentle expression on his face?
"Hey now, I'm not dead."
"But why are you here? I heard your supposedly really busy before your departure." her sentence falls short when he starts hugging her and sniffing her. "Gah."
"It seems like you don't trust my animal like instincts. Mmmm, your still a kid after all."
Why does he keep calling her a kid when they are the same age? Geez.
"A--after all?" Kasumi doesn't get a chance to question him anymore. Since she feels his lips brush on her neck. !!! This guy ---- "Hey, quit smelling me and don't do anything else!" Kasumi exclaimed.
"No way, I haven't seen you in so long. So I've got to absorb your scent."

It took quite some time before she got Mikami of her. But when she did, she made sure to sit as far as way as possible from him. "Since you can't keep your hands of me, you're not allowed to get any closer to me !!!"
This guy, why is he always so ridiculous? She cannot deal with people like this.

"I could say the same thing about you."
Oh !! Since he came here, the two of them haven't spoken about it at all. So, they can still have a normal conversation? "By the way, I heard. You still haven't found your sister."

'Only I can help you.' Her cheeks coloured when she realized he merely changed the words she said to him. This guy is so unbelievable.
"Geez, your back to teasing me again. I thought you'd stop so we can talk nor-- " her sentence fell short when their eyes locked with one another. Wha-- what's with that look? Why is he looking at her like that? If he keeps staring like that, she won't be able to act indifferent to him.
"Can I come closer?"

"You just said I wasn't allowed to get any closer. I don't want you to hate me, so I listened. But, I do want to get close. So, I'm asking for permission here."
He could have easily just done so but he's asking for her permission. Kasumi nodded. "Wh... Well. . just a little okay."
However as he shifted over, Kasumi realizes it right away. She was about to back away but he had already grabbed a hold of her hand. "Wha-- this is way too close," she exclaimed. She could feel Mikami's mouth at her ear, and the smell of his cologne.
"It's fine, we can still get closer after all," Mikami nodded to himself. He clearly didn't think this was enough for them. How stupid! This guy is such a moron, she shouldn't have listened to him. Now she has to think about the consequences of her actions here.
"P--please don't do anything."
"Don't be afraid of me. I will never do anything that hurts you."
What a hypocrite! Then what about the last few years? Kasumi wanted to tell him this, but refrained from doing so.
