When Lila returned, her entire body felt weak all over. Kiryu had to support her on the way back. 'Ah Terashima Lila, what did you just do there! Push him away, resist!' A deep sigh escaped her lips. Haruka will get angry for sure. She has to erase what just happened in her head. She can't allow him to do that to her again. Then again, the stupid thing is. She probably liked it.
What a cruel and terrible person. She loves Haruka a lot, that is one thing that hasn't changed. However, there are feelings that she still needs to settle.
It never dawned on Lila that she would one day see Kiryu lose control like that. Before they started dating one another. Lila recalled a time where Kiryu lost control of himself. It was during the time they went to the island for a drama shooting. Back then, she caught a glimpse of Kiryu's desires. But, that's all she ever saw of it. Only a glimpse since Kiryu would not let her see any more than that. For the longest time, he suffered staying by her side and holding back those feelings and desires. How painful was it?
Lila glanced over at Kiryu; he was a lot calmer now. Kasumi was just finishing up her performance. 'As expected from Kasumi.' When Kasumi performs alone, the problems from before don't arise.
"Lila, help me with this," Kiryu said, breaking her thoughts. Lila noticed he was pointing to his clothes.
"Ah," she looked around. "Um.."
"It's fine."
Usually, she would think it through more. But, when Kiryu says these things. It feels just right. She walked over, and her hands ran through his collar. Kiryu wore an informal suit, one that didn't need a tie.
"Are you alright?" Kiryu asked.
"I--I'm okay," she immediately realized what he meant. He bent down slightly, so their forehead brushed against one another. "Ah, um."
"Are you sure? I did a lot there."
Thankfully, nobody was paying attention to them; otherwise, they'd overthink things. Lila averted her gaze, "Don't sound so misleading."
Kiryu laughed, "Well, I did say I'd try."
His idea of trying better not be harassing her whenever he gets the chance.
The only thing she can do for Kiryu now is probably to convey what she's presently feeling through music. That's why up until now, she has been writing her songs based on those feelings...
Songs that would make her scream. Recently it's been a team effort, Oujiro composes out the music, and she writes out the lyrics. Songs that make her feel like screaming. However, what about Kiryu? Nobody can compose music that speaks to him. Nobody can help him express his feelings.
She and Kiryu have always been alike, that's why she understands full well. Alone he cannot express any growing feelings in his heart, just like herself. If Senpai didn't offer to compose the music to her recent songs, then she would not have been able to bring out the true potential of the song with just her lyrics alone.
Right now, instead of singing her own feelings, she should compose a song that will help him express his. It's suffocating, after all, not being able to express what you are truly thinking. Still, she wonders how she can do that today. The song she chose is for Haruka. She can't change that now.
Still, there is something she can still do for this person.
"That was Iwa Kasumi people, now here's another surprise guest performance. It's Austin Kiryu!"
Kiryu's name flashed on the screen, and the crowd increased.
Suddenly she felt Kiryu's lips on her cheeks, "I will go now, Lila."
"Uhhh--!"
He laughed, "See you later."
"K—Kiryu, um-!" Lila called out.
He walked over and pulled her into his arms, "Yes, Lila."
Her gaze softened when she felt his grip around her tighten. What an idiot, don't hold onto her so tightly like this. After a few minutes, Kiryu lets her go, and she mumbled. "Good luck."
His usual smile, and yet something differs now.
Lila watched as he walked down the aisle and stepped onto the stage.
"It seems he is still as popular as ever," a voice from beside her said. Lila turned and spotted pink hair.
She laughed, "You came to see me, Acchan? You didn't have to."
"Do you think I'd miss out on your stage?"
"Aha, that's true."
"Besides, I'm a bit interested."
Lila noticed her glancing over at Kiryu, and she blinks. How rare, Acchan is interested in Kiryu as a singer? Last year the girl-focused only on her and Ameno. She didn't think about anybody else. But then again, so much has changed since then — Kiryu's current performance. Honestly, Lila hasn't seen it. While she saw his performances with the GOD5. As a solo artist, Lila has not seen it yet. If Acchan is here, then that means Kiryu's performance is at the level now where she is curious?
Ageha sighed, "Don't pull that complicated look."
"It isn't like you, though."
"Indeed, but you will see what I mean."
Lila nodded and turned her attention back to the stage. Seconds felt like minutes to her. To attract Acchan's attention, no - Lila recalled the serious expression on his face. She felt her heart beating fast, 'Kiryu has never been truly serious about music before.' He's only ever focused on her after all, even though Kiryu loves music too.
Lila watched as Kiryu picked up his guitar. Ah? Is he going to perform with his guitar today? That's unlike him, curiously Lila leaned a bit closer to the curtain.

Lila's eyes widened when she heard Kiryu's voice. She immediately grabbed hold of Ageha's sleeve, "Wah... Wah! Acchan, Kiryu is..Kiryu is so cool!"
Ageha sighed, "You're the one who used to tell me that. Don't tell me you forgot?"
No, she didn't forget... It's more like, back then, she only said Kiryu was cool because of her feelings. But now, the serious Kiryu. She really likes this side of him.

Just like hope and despair, even so, I embrace what's precious..." Kiryu sang.
"I know," Lila nodded and glanced over at Kiryu. "I guess I was waiting for this to happen. Restraining myself on stages, restraining my emotions. I was afraid that people would see the things I'm trying not to acknowledge. But, I realize doing that is stupid. Even if I don't do this, my fans, my family, and my friends can tell already."
