So, this is the reason why he got called out here. The idol association board meeting. Kiryu supposes it was natural for him to attend, as the number one male idol. Still, he didn't think it would be the same meeting Haruka and Rikka attend.
His gaze fell on the brunette hair girl and Haruka. The two were sat by the couch and discussing something. From a glance, though, people could easily misunderstand due to how close they sat. "Hey, what did you get me?"
Kiryu, however, deliberately sat nearby.
Rikka rolled her eyes, "Were still at work. I'll give it to you later."
"Ah, asking me out for dinner?"
"After work, it's not like you have anything to do."
'They seem to get along very well,' Kiryu observed. He never saw Haruka treat another girl so fondly before. But then again, an ex is an ex. She probably still has some influence over Yaruka.
"Well," Haruka paused. "I do have plans."
"Your wife?"
"Yeah, she wanted to go shopping."
"I see."
"We can do dinner, Rikka. Remember, I promised you we would talk during the new year. Let's have the conversation over some food, okay?"
Kiryu didn't know why he was so interested in this conversation. Focus, Kiryu, do your work.
Rikka's gaze remained the same. She didn't look particularly happy. "Maybe we can delay the conversation. You'll get tired of me and not bother meeting me once we have it, right? I'd rather not do that."
"Rikka, don't be like this. I won't avoid you. You know I'd like it better if we can be good friends like before."
Is Haruka an idiot? He just friend-zoned her.
His thoughts broke off, though, when he found somebody staring at him. Black hair and amethyst colored eyes.
"Lila."
Lila laughed, "Um, so you were here."
"Yeah, sorry, I should have said."
"No, it's okay. Um, do you have time? Look over this with me," Lila placed some math puzzles on the desk.
He raised his eyebrows, "Equations shouldn't be a problem for you."
"I think I've missed too much of school," Lila sighed. "I really do need help. Maybe I can ask Shichiro, but he's busy with his own studies."
Kiryu smiled, "It's okay; you can bother me about this."
"Really? Okay, then…"
Haruka slammed his hands down on the stool beside Lila, disrupting them. "Ah, hubby!"
"I'll work next to you."
"Okay!"
'This guy is so petty at times.' Well, it's not like there is --- Kiryu paused when he saw Lila casually leaning on Haruka. "Lila, do you want to study or not?"
Lila blushed, "Uhh, don't misunderstand. I just got a bit dizzy, and Haruka was closer…"
"No, she was trying to kiss me," Haruka pointed out.
"I was not!"
Geez, really so helpless. Kiryu divided the sheets up. "Alright, Lila, you do this, Haruka, you do this one, and I will take this pile."
"Hey, wait, why do I have to…"
Lila tugged on Haruka's arm, "Please, I really can't finish this on my own. You don't have to answer the questions, just break it down for me."
Haruka bent down and kissed Lila's lips. It happened so suddenly that Kiryu only stared blankly.
"You know, it's dangerous when you start begging."
Lila reached over and hit him, "Idiot! Moron, stay away from me."
"Yeah, yeah," Haruka picked up a pen and turned to the documents.
'Somehow, this situation is very strange.' The three of them spending together like this.
"Lila, I can't do anything if you keep staring," Kiryu liked the attention she paid him. But, he couldn't focus on the worksheets with somebody pretty like Lila looking.
"Kiryu, um um, you know!"
"Wife," Haruka interjected.
"Ah... Um," Lila glanced over at him, and Kiryu immediately understood. He turned his chair around slightly. Moments later, he hears light moans pass Lila's lips.
"Nnngg. ….What are you doing?"
"Kissing."
"Hatuka, stop dummy.. not here, please."
"Sorry," Haruka muttered. "Do you hate this?"
"Ti--time out, really!"
Kiryu fidgeted uncomfortably. Exactly, what are they doing? He shouldn't turn around; it would be very bad. Before he could say anything, he hears a slamming sound. He glanced over and saw that Rikka placed her stuff on the couch near the long table they were on.
"Hey, I said wait for me. I'll help you with that."
"Aren't you busy? I can do this myself," Rikka commented.
"Gee, so stubborn," Haruka trailed off. "Sorry wife, I'll help you at home."
Lila obediently nodded, but Kiryu noticed that her gaze darkened slightly.
'Haruka is too nice, that could be a setup.' Still, that girl - Rikka isn't a bad person. She must be that conflicted. Kiryu turned back to the work and urged Lila to do the same. It didn't take long before Lila is focussing on work again. While Kiryu was working too, he kept taking occasional glances at her.
Lila is getting prettier by the day. If she isn't careful, somebody will jump on her. Kiryu shook his head; he's the only one thinking such strange thoughts. Then again, when they were dating. He was jumping on her a lot, huh. Hearing a beep, Kiryu took his phone out of his pocket and saw a message.

Can we have lunch together?]

I'm with Lila… ]

Then, do you want my sister to hear? I don't mind, lecturing you about things, including Rosalia-chan.]
Gah, these sisters are really bothersome. Still, about Rosalia? He supposes it would be fine. Lately, that woman is becoming very unreasonable. Kiryu quickly typed up a message agreeing to it when he noticed Lila was staring at him again.
"What is it?"
"Kiryu, you've become so handsome. Do girls bother you?"
Uhhh, wait, what? What is with this situation right now? He doesn't understand where this is coming from. Then again, she always was such a weirdo. Still, he doesn't dislike this situation.
"I'm handsome?"
Lila nodded, "Very," she reached over and ran her hands through his silver locks. "This used to be mine too, but it isn't anymore. I think it's a waste…"
Kiryu froze when he hears her words. Is she trying to say she regrets it? She sounds regretful.
