Lila decided to leave the two alone too talk. So she occupied herself with studying. However she was worried about them. Her brother said that stuff about Haruka after all. So Lila thought of an excuse to interrupt them. Before she knew it she headed to the kitchen and cooked a lot. Only an hour and a half had passed since then, but Lila felt very restless. 'How come she hasn't heard from them in so long?'
'Someone who never wavers isn't necessarily strong.'
'To question what's right to worry and search.'
'To have the courage to do that…is the mark of true strength.'

Yet, right now she isn't the only one in pain and suffering. Haruka has become so very gentle and so very kind. While Haruka always possessed that trait, something has changed. Lila isn't stupid, she sensed it because they are so closer to each other. And she knew he knew that too.
Her gaze fell on the tray of food she finished preparing, and exited the kitchen.
She quietly made her way down the hallway, the kitchen was nearby the meeting room. Lila knew the two must of had a serious discussion since they chose to meet there. She recalled Haruka's serious expression, and his injuries. It didn't sit well with her, what happened with Zane.

When he is sad, Lila wants him to cry. She will be there for him. When he is happy, and wants to meet with her, she will be there. But because she is a girl , there are times that he gets tired. There are times that he holds back his tears. So in times like that, she is going to come flying down to him and hold her in his arms gently.
If he does do that, then maybe something will change. Changes that won't cause more pain with every action.
Kiryu, Haruka is completely different from him..
Though Soijiro comments how similar the two are. She never once thought that way. Both Kiryu and Haruka...
Ah, those two differ a lot, despite being so close. That may be the reason why lately Lila can't stop thinking about Kiryu. Her thoughts broke off when her phone started beeping.

Lila scanned the hallway and found a small table on the corner. She placed the tray down, "Hello, Kiryu?"
"Hey, can I ask you out for dinner?"
"Dinner?" Lila looked at the clock in the hallway. It was already quite late, but it seemed like Kiryu just finished up at the ball.
"Yes, dinner."
"Just us two?"
Kiryu chuckled, "No with the others."
Ah, he must be doing this because of Kasumi. Kiryu knows what happened with Kasumi earlier. While Lila rushed over since she was worried, she also understood something.
Those people are a bunch of fools. But they will be fine, even if she doesn't do anything.
They are different from herself and Kiryu - those people. They differ entirely and that may be the reason why she can watch over them so warmly without interfering.
"You know, I'm not just asking because of Kasumi…" Kiryu trailed off and mumbled. "I want to invite you…"
"I can't, sorry," Lila refused. "But thank you for calling, goodnight." She didn't wait for a reply and closed her phone.
She wanted to agree and yet..it won't do her any good, getting attached anymore.

She has to take over, and guide everyone. Isn't that why they age? Though she isn't exactly ' old just yet. In a few years she would be eighteen and in two years it would be her coming of age ceremony.

Lila quickly reentered the room with a tray in her hand. She noticed however that her brother was no longer alone. Haruka was smoking, a heavy scent filled the air causing her to cough. He glanced over, "Sorry, I'll stop."
She shook her head, "I'm just surprised, it's stronger than usual," Lila placed the tray down on the nearby table.
"Come here," Haruka urged her.
She walked over but before she could get over there. She noticed the look in his eyes, "Wait, I'm not ready…"
"Lila," Haruka said sharply, "Come here."
'He suddenly seems strange…' Lila increased her pace until she stood directly opposite him. Haruka extended his hand out and pulled her onto his lap. He buried his face on the nape of her neck. Ah…
"Are you tired hubby? Should we take a nap together?"
"It's fine, I want to relax with you."
"Maybe we can play some games…"
She felt Haruka place gentle kisses on her neck and she laughed. "Are you fooling around with me hubby?"
"Zane said from now on Lila he won't hold back anymore. He will do whatever he can to block us, and stop us from being together."
