"Oh, I'm over the moon after meeting with him," Lila quickly replied. She genuinely felt joy after meeting with Haruka. Whenever they meet one another, she ended up feeling such strange emotions. So nothing is wrong.

"Then I must ask, exactly what are you doing now?"

Lila looked over and saw what he was talking about. The pen in her hands suddenly broke. She didn't grip onto it that hard. 'When did that happen?' She awkwardly looked at Mikami before Lila tossed the pen into the nearest bin.

Mikami chuckled, "Lila-chan, whenever it comes to senpai you end up worked up."

"Why are Rikka-san and Haruka so close?"

"Hmmm, well I guess you could say they are similar."

At that comment Lila sighed, "I'm going to take a nap, wake me up."

Mikami nodded, "Very well."

Lila didn't want to think about those words too deeply, but it remained in her head even as she walked across the room. It's not like she doesn't understand, because she does. That girl was there for Haruka when she couldn't be. It's natural they are close.

There it is, that pitch black colour again. Ah, is that what you'd call ' Darkness?' From the very second she was born, the first colour she saw was that murky darkness, a colour and yet it was different. It wasn't bright or sparkly, it wasn't the first thing you'd expect a newly born infant to stop. A mono tone world, from the very moment - call it fate or whatever. But maybe there was already something that began to tie her to that person. However if one uses that logic, then since a long time ago, she shared this connected with others. In that instance the whole notion of destiny completely disappears doesn't it? But she was sure that even if it was true, even if it was true she wouldn't believe it.

Because that would be illogical.

She eventually arrived in front of the couch and laid down. It wasn't very comfortable, but then again it isn't for sleeping purposes. Lila laid down and tried to get comfortable before she closed her eyes. Even then however, troubled thoughts remained in her head. That's right, it wouldn't make any sense.

The term destiny doesn't have any information to back it up with. In fact you can merely call it a illusion of individuals, something individuals have romanticised in their heads and brought forth due to their desires. It is human nature to want to dramatise a mere thought, that's why it is ' normal.'

When their are individual who step outside of what is considered the norm, they are immediately shunned by others. That is something she has longed accepted, that's why it isn't new. Why there were people giving her strange looks after that recent test.  It was only natural for them to do that and she doesn't blame them for it at all. If someone who is usually average suddenly turns out to be above average and complimented highly, then of course it would be deemed strange.

She felt out of it, she wasn't thinking straight. Usually she would work hard to ensure that her answers seemed rather normal. But her thoughts had been distracted. Aha, seems like they'll be talking about her more again. Hiding at this rate would only be foolish, yes it would be foolish. She could clearly imagine it now what they'd say if she held back now, ' Your looking down on us aren't you?'

No, that's not it at all. That person is completely wrong. But explaining anything in those circumstances would not be worth her time. If there are people who see a drastic change in such a short period of time, it's only normal that they won't accept it. That's why there is no need to explain it.

Since it is something like that then there's no need for her to bother correct? And yet why does he look at her with those eyes as if he understands? What does he understand?

What exactly does he know about her?

What exactly is he trying to get at?

'It's because I know you that I fell in love with you?'

Ha?

They only just met again, their interactions back then were only brief too. How could he have possibly have fallen in love with her? It does not make much sense at all.

Yet those eyes showed no lies. Yes for sure that person isn't lying at all. But, she couldn't do it.

Kazuya, in the end she is still weak.

Even if she has accepted this power and fate. Even if she has accepted it, she can still feel herself shattering. Can a person without any love really become a true leader?

Hesitations are a sin.

Lila has always believed that and thus has ensured that she buried away any signs of those hesitations. Buries it all away in the furthest corner of her mind. She didn't cry in front of others because crying is a sign of weakness, that's why she didn't shed a single tear in front anyone. Anyone except him.

She recalled the last words he said it to her.

The words he last said to her before it ended. The words 'her Kiryu' told her.

' I'll always be watching over you and lending you strength no matter what.'

That was the first time.

Such an event traumatised her. Lila knew that ever since then, things had changed. Yet after a year went by Lila picked out the meaning of those words. She deciphered it and realized the true meaning.

A real idiot, she thought that. But it gave her strength knowing that if she just waited. Waited then she could see him again. When she did though, she didn't expect it to be like that. Lila didn't expect to run into his arms and realise.. realise that he truly would leave her this time. That's right, it was something Lila noticed from that very second.
