Haruka left using the back exit, so when Yori came up he was no longer there.

Yori walked her back down, "He had to go?"

Lila nodded, "Yeah "

"Sophia and Zane again?"

"Ah huh. He's still in the process of leaving the company," Lila sighed.

Lila knew he had made plans to leave a long time ago. However because of all Zane's threats, Haruka couldn't leave easily.

"You'll be performing on this large stage on your own. Well I can't say I'm not envious," Yori said. "Truly, your amazing Lila."

"It's just a matter of time before your unit performs here."

"So you say that. But aren't the next ones performing on here the God five."

That's right in a few months time it would be Kiryu's group performing on this stage, "The unit aside. You could snatch a chance to perform here before them."

Yori sweat dropped, "That's expecting too much from me I haven't actually had the time to focus on my solo career at all. That and I'm still on prohibition so my chances are slim here."

Right, the punishment for causing that disturbance during the tournament was no solo performances.

Chances huh? It really was hard to believe that she made it so far with her solo career. Back then Lila hesitated about accepting this offer.

She believe in herself at all, debuting solo - all that pressure, she really didn't think she could handle it. At the start it was difficult for her, however thanks to the encouragement everyone gave her, she managed.

It was because she had everyone that she even made it this far. So many people have told her how amazing she was. But she wouldn't have made it this far without them. So many people helped and guided her to get to where she is now.

Her thoughts broke off when her phone starts beeping,

[From: Haruka

I almost forgot but if you don't skip your practice. I'll kidnap you myself.

I'm not kidding.]

Lila sweat dropped when she read his message.

This fool what is he thinking? But it's true she wanted to spend time with him. She quickly replied back.

[Give me an hour! I'll go to you.]

She could delay the other work slightly. It didn't matter. Lila wanted to make sure he was okay.

Unfortunately, Yori was peering over her shoulder so she saw the contents of the message.

"Huh so you two are in that kind of relationship"

Lila felt heat creep up on her cheeks, "Yori!!! It's not like that"

Yori laughs, "I'm kidding. I'm relieved that you two are getting along."

Lila sighed, "Your one of the rare few who say that."

"I understand why they are worried. But are people still giving you a hard time over it? It isn't fair on you."

"It isn't fair at all. But I can't do anything to change their minds. Haruka is a good person, you understood that in a short amount of time. However others won't see it that way."

Yori patted her shoulder, "The only way you can prove your feelings is through your song. Show everybody how much he means to you Lila, that's the only way they will understand."

...

7:00PM

Lila immediately bolted out of the building. How could she forget that those other jobs were in the same building? It was difficult to escape even if she wanted to. By the time Lila left it was already 7pm. She met with Haruka at 11am.. Nine hours have already passed.

Nine.. Lila had a bad feeling.

Even the smallest stars give of a bright and radiant light. This world that's covered in light as well as darkness is so very beautiful. Contrary to everything that's happened. Lila's never once disliked this world. Even though there have been many painful and harsh things, she's never disliked it. It really is mysterious.

No matter how much discomfort she's in, she cannot put the blame on her surroundings even if the negativity is usually caused by it. These small stars in the night sky may also be paving the way to someone's dreams right now. A faint glimmer is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact the smallest stars may end up growing in to the brightest star.

There was a story that mother used to her before called the Nighthawk star, if she recalls correctly, it was a short story by Miyazawa Kenji. The nighthawk is nightjar bird that was teased and bullied by the other birds for his appearance. The Hawk dislikes the fact that the nighthawk has hawk in his name and always threatens him.

The next day he flies to the Sun asking to take him even if his body is burned but the Sun replies that since he is a night bird it will be better to ask the stars during the evening. As Nightfall hits, Nighthawk flies to the skies and asks the star of the West, Orion, to take him but his request is completely ignored.

No matter who he asked, nobody would help him.

Due to all the flying around he plummets to the ground. It didn't take long before his body becomes cold. Before he knew it he was in a peaceful state of mind. After sometime, the nighthawk opened his eyes and noticed that he is glowing blue beside the star, Cassiopeia. Now nighthawk's star glows on forever, even to this day.

That story not only sends out the message that even if your not beautiful; you can blossom. But even if your at the bottom, you can one day glow brighter. Back then, she too was a small star, that's why she really loves that story. She can relate well. In contrast to her sister, she had no talent as an idol and the only thing she could really do was sing slightly better than anyone else and yet, Lila didn't want to give up. She wanted her voice to be able to reach people. Her most important..person..

Her thoughts broke off when it started raining. 'Ah, where did this downpour come from?' Unfortunately Lila didn't carry an umbrella with her. She could just wait out until the rain finished pouring. However, if she stalls any longer. Wouldn't something bad happen to Haruka? She can't allow that!
