Lila averts her gaze and yet rolls her sleeve up slightly for her sister to see. Red spider lily marks wrapped around her arm, piercing her skin. "It's gotten pretty bad after all hasn't it? I figured it would. After all, for the longest of time, I found myself slowly and slowly falling more and more in love with Haruka. Recently, I finally found some closure …about Kiryu."
"Is that so?" her sister mumbled.
Lila nodded and continued. "More like, I think I understand it better now. Back then me and Kiryu were a very good couple. But, the two of us hid so many things from one another. We kept secrets from one another."
"It's different with Haruka-kun?"
Lila laughed, "Well, he hides a lot of things too. But how should I put it? We eventually end up confessing everything to one another."
She took a sip of her drink.
"What I feel towards Haruka is different then what I felt towards Kiryu or even senpai. It's really different than I feel myself being afraid at times. It's all so confusing, but right now, I want to treasure these feelings. For the longest time, I kept seeing Haruka as Kiryu, and it took me a month or so before I realized the difference.
But..but he was always smiling, smiling only at me. Haruka isn't Kiryu, they may be similar, but they are different. Haruka different from him, and yet the only one that's reflected in my eyes now is Haruka. Let me treasure these feelings. Let me remain with him."
"If you've said that much, nobody should intervene with you two anymore. But," Kyoko trailed off and sighed. "You've already heard those rumors I'm sure?"
"I have."
"Those people won't leave you alone, Lila-chan. What will you do then?"
At that comment, Lila sighed. "I would rather not deal with them and continue on like usual. However, it seems they want to continue using unhanded means. I can take people slandering me. But Haruka? Unfortunately, I'm no saint. They are going overboard, and I will make sure they know that."
She won't let anybody harm him. Haruka has already suffered so much. He doesn't have to suffer anymore just because these people won't leave him alone.
"Sister, can I ask you for a favor?"
Kyoko nodded. "Ask away."
Lila took something out of her bag and slid it across the table. "Can you look into this for me?"
Kyoko looked at the documents briefly and sighed. "Lila-chan, are you sure? What if Haruka-kun gets angry at you?"
"I will risk it. Besides, I need to know what happened back then. Haruka vaguely told me the story before, but he left out so many details."
"The incident was horrific. I'm sure you've heard Kasumi-chan speak about it before? That's why she is cautious towards him."
"Yes."
"Yet, you want to look into it?"
Lila nodded. "Yes, because I don't believe Haruka could take the life of another person."
Haruka lived a terrible life this entire time. The things he saw - Lila can't imagine how he felt and what it did to him. How much pain did he have to bare all by himself this entire time?
"Do you love him?"
"I really do," Lila laughed. "Otherwise, this would all be in vain," Lila pointed to the markings on her arm. She quickly covered it up though once she saw some people walking by.
She loves him; she loves him so much. Lila felt like love was changing her again. It's stupid to change because of love. However, people shouldn't underestimate love too much. It's possible to change your entire life because of love. Whether it's a good change or not. It didn't matter to her.
Lila knew how silly all of this sounded to her sister. But she continued speaking. "I did not think that a person such as myself would fall in love like this. I'm used to being alone, no," she shook her head. "People leaving. That became the norm for me. That's why I desperately clung to people who become fond of me."
She clings to them desperately and cries when they leave.
"I'm someone who already fell to the very bottom, to the abyss. Yet Kiryu proved so otherwise, after encountering him, I met so many others, and yet right now, the only one I really can think of is Haruka."
"So-- " Lila paused when a sudden glow wrapped around her arm, "…a rainbow-colored, "she turned to the blonde-haired woman, "Sister, this is….."
Lila recognized it, of course. 'Only those with the ability to lead their generation would have this power.' Her sister acts low-key, but there is no doubt that without her, everything would have fallen apart.

The second her sister left, Lila hears a beeping sound from her phone. It was another article regarding Haruka and Rikka-san. Lila didn't have to look at it to understand. 'Honestly, this has become very troublesome...' But Lila knew if she simply left this situation be, then it could escalate.
Spotting an upcoming call, Lila immediately answered it. "Soichiro? Your timing is perfect."
