The last thing Lila expected to find was her husband on the ground and a woman on top of him.
But then again considering how vulnerable he seems to be against certain people. Lila isn't surprised anymore. She simply walked over and yanked the woman of her husband. The woman landed with a thud on the ground. But Lila didn't pay any attention to her at all.
To her surprise it was none other than Rikka-san. But something about her looked very different. The messy hair and clothes aside, there was something else.
Haruka snapped out of whatever trance he was in and looked over at her.
"Wife sorry, I was just a bit surprised." Haruka apologized.
Lila pouted. "Your clothes are torn, and what's with those marks?"
"...."
A troubled look appeared on his face as he glanced over at Rikka. "Do you think---"
Lila nodded and turned to the girl who was clenching her cheeks. Her entire face was bruised all over and the state of her clothes were awful. She must have gone through several hours no so many days of torture. 'So this is why Haruka's been disappearing lately.' It made sense for her husband to check on Rikka-san.
"Haruka…please…"
Lila sighed and extended her hand out. A bright lilac coloured light emerged from her palm. "Go to sleep."

Lila opened the door and saw Haruka helping Rikka-san sit up. It seemed like the girl didn't take the full drug and spat some out.
"Are you sure your fine?" Haruka asked concerned. "Maybe you need another blanket…"
"I'm fine."
'I feel so petty.' Lila thought as she entered the room with the tray of food. Haruka looked over at her, his gaze softened. "Lila made you food, it's very tasty. I'm sure you will recover quickly."
Rikka only nodded and that made her very uncomfortable. It's very hard to tell what Rikka-san is thinking, she has a poker face. Lila pushed the tray over to where they were.
Lila watched as she picked up the spoon but the girl's hands were shaking. It was clear that she couldn't hold it properly. 'Does the drug affect a person's senses too?' Lila didn't ponder on that thought long when she saw Haruka take the spoon from Rikka and fed her. She blinked at how easily he did it.
"I warned you repeatedly not to meet with Zane. What were you thinking?" Haruka lectured.
"This is because of you, this is happening to me because of you and you still can't help me. Is your wife that petty?" Rikka said bitterly. "I'm getting screwed all over everyday because Zane can't reach her."
"Listen." Haruka mumbled. "I already told you to disassociate yourself with me. If you don't go near me anymore, Zane will leave you alone."
Rikka looked down. "Isn't that too cruel? I know you don't like me anymore, but we can't even be friends now?"
"I never said we can't be friends--" Haruka glanced over at her. Lila immediately understood and stood up.
'It does seem like I will get in the way.' She quickly left the room. The moment she got outside, she slumped on the ground. 'This is difficult.' Rikka-san is clearly sick and needs somebody to watch over her. They don't know how much of that drug she has consumed too.
Lila dove her phone out of her pocket and dialed Soichiro's number.
"Now isn't this rare?" Soichiro said. "Dear you finally decided to call me."
Lila sighed. "Did you know?"
"Know?"
"Rikka-san." Lila mumbled. "You knew what was happening to her."
"Of course I did, but didn't you as well?"
"I didn't think it was this bad." Lila admitted. "I guess I underestimated Zane."
"The only reason Zane is doing this is because he wants to bother Haruka. He knows Haruka cares for that woman, otherwise do you think he would waste his time? Lila, you should watch your husband. This woman isn't like the others." Soichiro warned.
"I already know. I'm not blind."
"Then do something already." Soichiro snapped. "I know that woman came to your house. Did you like what she did to your husband before you came?"
Her gaze dimmed. It was hard for her to forget the image she saw earlier. "I told you to stop spying on me already."
"Sorry dearest but your not the one I'm spying on. Who knows when your husband will bring other women home? You will thank me for this in the future."
Anybody who hears him would think he is only doing this because he is concerned. Apart of her understood that Soichiro was doing this for her sake too. But, 'I never liked his methods.' The reason she is so cold to him is because she doesn't like how he does things.

"Haruka won't betray me."
"Are you sure about that?"
He won't, he won't do that to her. "Why don't you have a look at the room right now?"
At that comment Lila bit her lip. Her hands were trembling already. "Soichiro..you.."
"You'll thank me, have a look right now."
Haruka won't betray her, otherwise he would have done it by now. That thought reassured her for so long and even now Lila thought the same. But that was until Rikka-san came. From the very moment that woman arrived, she knew something would change. Her relationship with Haruka would change. Haruka never showed this level of care towards another woman other than her.
Sure there was that thing with Mei but Lila understood Haruka's intentions. It didn't mean anything. He only acted that way because he knew she would do the same. But Rikka-san is different. 'Is it because they didn't break up properly?' Indeed, a bad break up will lead to unsettled feelings. Lila understood that very well.
'Even now, I still can't push Kiryu away.'
It was the same for her and Kiryu. It's the same isn't it? So why does she feel so unsettled like this?
