"Thank you for your purchase."
Haruka's gaze fell on the small item he just bought. 'I bought it in the end, but will Lila like it?' Lately she looks so distressed and uneasy. Haruka wanted to do something to make it up for her. But recently Nagawa-san calls a lot to discuss the plan. So he can't spend much time with Lila.
It honestly frustrated him. Before Nagawa-san agreed to helping, he could spend all his time with Lila. The peaceful days he spent with Lila here in New York, has it already come to an end?
Haruka extended his time here for a good reason. He wanted to leave some happy memories with her just in case anything were to happen.
'I don't think Zane will let you go.'
Nagawa-san's warning echoed in his head. Indeed, Zane will never let him go for betraying him. Haruka understood this very well. He needs to deal with it quickly. Zane will use whatever method he can to get to him. The most effective one would be to separate him from Lila.
"Haruka?"
His gaze fell towards the source of the voice and he saw brunette coloured hair. "Good morning."
"Yeah, your shopping?"
"Yes. I did come here in a rush, I'm finally settling in though."
"That's good."
"What's that?" Rikka asked.
"A present for Lila, lately she looks depressed so I thought I would get her something." He trailed off. "Hey, do you think girls would like this kind of thing?"
"Show me."
Haruka took out a small box from the bag and extended it towards her. "What do you think?"
"It's beautiful."
"So do you think she would like it?"
"Yes."

'A movie shoot outside huh?' Haruka's gaze landed on the surroundings of the park. It seems like they rented out the entire area. He couldn't see any signs of any passingbyers. So this is the difference between a high level movie an amateur one.
His thoughts broke off when he saw something not too far. "Lila?" Haruka mumbled.
Indeed it was none other than his wife. But she looked like she was speaking to someone. The man with her however somebody he wasn't familiar with.
He frowned. 'Isn't she supposed to be working? Who is that guy?' Before Haruka knew what he was doing, he was already walking over.
"I told you not to tell Kiryu! Why did you tell him?"
The man sighed. "Of course I would tell him. You look sicker than usual recently. Don't blame this on your pregnancy either. Soichiro would kill me if something happened to you."
"Kiryu is sick too. You'll only make him worry. I'm fine second senior brother. I just haven't been able to sleep."
"That's not okay at all! Tell him properly."
"I don't want to."
"Lila, when did you become this stubborn? I know you two aren't dating anymore, but would it hurt if you talk to him? Aren't you purposely making things awkward?"
At that comment Haruka saw the discomfort flash through Lila's eyes. He intended to stand by and watch for a bit. But it seems like he has to inter-- his thoughts broke off when he heard a large sound.
Haruka's eyes widened when he spotted silver coloured hair. The person Kiryu slapped was the mysterious guy.
"I told you to talk to Lila. I didn't tell you to make her cry."
"Ah hey it wasn't deliberate."
"Whatever it is, she is crying now." Kiryu turned to Lila. He brushed his fingers across her eyelids. "Are you okay? Don't think about what he said too much."
"Kiryu, why are you being an idiot for me again?"
"You already know why silly girl."
Haruks leaned against the tree with a complicated expression. 'Huh, so something happened.' It shouldn't surprise him too much. Ever since Kiryu came here, he has been very quiet. It shouldn't be so surprising.
When he is busy working away with Sano and Rikka, what is Lila doing? Of course she would spend more time with Kiryu.
Haruka watched as the other guy left and Lila immediately pulled away from Kiryu. She pulled out her phone.
"Calling Haruka?"
"Ah-huh, I want him to fetch me since I feel like a mess." Lila laughed weakly. "Sorry about this."
"No, it's alright. I told you it's okay for you to use me until your satisfied."
'They have quite the atmosphere going on there.' A part of him has already accepted it deep down. No matter what happens Lila will always care for Austin Kiryu. That was fine with him. 'as long as she doesn't leave me.'
Lila clicked on some buttons on her phone. In that second his phone rang.
The girl clearly heard the sound since she looked around. Her gaze met his and Haruka extended his hand out. "Come here."
It didn't take long before his wife reached him, or rather she ran quickly. Lila clung to him like her life depended on it and his heart melted. He was about to scold her for running just then, but now he can't. His gaze fell on the adorable bundle who buried her face in his chest.
Geez, she is too cute.
Haruka pinched her cheeks. "So, what's this secret meeting behind my back?"
"Wahhh bully! It wasn't a secret meeting."
"Hmmm.."
Lila puffed her cheeks into a pour and loomed towards the set. "Besides, that's my line."
"Don't be angry love, I got you a present."
"Bribery doesn't work."
He chuckled when he saw her look at the bag in his pocket curiously.
Haruka kissed her forehead. "Want it?"
"Yes."
He took it out and extended it towards her. Lila immediately took it out of his hands. To his surprise her gaze suddenly darkened. "This isn't for me is it?"

Lila sighed and she pushed the bag away. "This is no good Haruka, you can't give me a gift that you already gave somebody else. Did you accidentally buy two or something? "
What is she talking about? Buy two? But he only bought one and he gave this to-- Haruka frowned when he realized something.
"Give me your phone."
"No."
His eyes twitched in annoyance. "Lila." He said sharply. "Give it to me."
"I don't want to, you will delete the evidence."
