As the group settled in it didn't take long for them all to get close. Soon weeks turned into months. It had been three months after what had happened. The break out, death of loved ones and finding out new things the group didn't know before. Now that they were somewhat happy and settled in the cabin in the woods, they could finally call some place home for now.
The sky was dark an the wind hallowed as it hit the cabin's door.
Miley and Carrie stood, making something, with their hands.
"Ugh! Why does it take so long for me to make a perfect round piece of dough?" Carrie sighs as she softly punches the dough. Her hair was much shorter now. It was in a short ponytail. Her bangs laid on the side of her face.
Miley laughs. "Don't worry. It took me a while before I could make the perfect one." She picked hers up and put it on a plate. "Now to cook these!" She smiles as she places them in the oven.
Carrie leans on the counter as she wipes her hands off on her jeans.
Miley stands and looks at her. "Don't do that!" She grabs her a rag. "Use this you animal!"
They both laugh as Carrie wipes her hands off.
Carrie sighs as she places the rag down.
"Everything okay?" Miley asked as she went to Carrie's dough.
Carrie shook her head. "Honestly, I don't know yet.." She crossed her arms. "It's hard to tell you know? When life will ever be really normal again.."
Miley finished the dough and place it in the oven. She wiped her hands on the rag. "I know how hard it's been sweet-y."
Carrie smiles a little. "I really want to just wake up sometimes and all this be a dream. You know?"
Miley nodded. "Yes." She hugged her tightly.
Jackie walks in. She growls. "Hello"
Miley smiles. "Hi"
Carrie walks away fast but Jackie catches her by the arm.
"I need you on the field today" Jackie writes down on the clipboard, that she had in her hands.
Carrie nodded. "Yeah." She continued her walk to the back of the cabin. When she walked in she saw Kizzy laying on the bed opposite of her. "Hey..."
Kizzy didn't move.
Carrie sat at the desk. She sighed as she stared out at the window. "Can I ask you something?"
Kizzy sat up. "Sure..."
"You never really said much about why you were in that place.." Carrie scratches her head. "I know you said they kidnapped you but I also feel like you aren't telling me the whole truth.."
Kizzy sighed. "Can I trust you?" She looked at her.
Carrie nodded. "Of course."
Kizzy swallowed hard. "Truth is-"
Suddenly, Mike rushed in.
"Mike!" Carrie stood fast. "What's wrong?"
Mike took a deep breath. "Ghouls"
Carrie nodded. "Okay"
*Abandon Military Base*
Two guards stand outside while the others enter.
"Looks like a break in" A man says as he bends down to some glass. "Humans?"
John kicks some boxes a side to see a door. "Where does this lead?" He turns to the man.
"Oh that. Nothing really. Just a storage room. I think" He walks to it. He opens it to reveal a large white room with glass going down a hall.
Both of them look at one another.
"Some storage closet." John walks in. He looks around to see come un-dead in some of the rooms.
"What the heck happened here?" The man looks at the bodies.
John steps on something that makes a crunching sound. He looks around to see glass. He looks at the room that was broken in to. "Empty.." He sees only a bed.
"I'm going to report this to Elxa" The man pulls out his walkie talkie.
John looks around to see cameras. "Wait" He looks at the end of the hall. "There has to be another door somewhere. Some place to lead to the camera room"
The man looks up.
John presses the wall. "Come on.." Suddenly, it moves to reveal a room. "Bingo" He enters to a room with monitors. He goes up to the keyboard. "Lets see if I remember how to do this.." He presses some buttons and it shows files. "Yes!" He types more. A video shows. His eyes widen. He sees Carrie and Finn. "Carrie.."
"Hey sir did you find anything?" The man asks before entering.
"NO!" John stops him from going fully into the room. "Just some techno stuff. I got it from here"

John turns to the screens. He sees some flash drives on the desks nearby. "Yes!" he grabs one and starts to download the video before deleting it off the camera memory. "I'll make sure you're safe.."
*The Cabin*
Carrie, Mike, Ellis and Finn all stand in front of the gate.
"We got this!" Mike says as he looks at the others.
"Lets just get this over with." Ellis groans.
Finn rolls his eyes.
"Boys lets just get this done without fighting!" Carrie growled.
