The two of them hurried out of the dungeon, with Yoan carrying in the man, piggyback, holding his nose to ensure the blood would stop dripping. Meanwhile, Hilia carried all of their belongings, but she was clearly struggling with it. Finally, they were out of the dungeon, only to be greeted by a handsome, smiling Mino who was standing outside, waiting patiently for them and they froze, looking at him with wide eyes. Mino was equally stunned by the sight, though, he didn't show it on his face.

Mino continued smiling throughout the awkward silence, before he finally spoke. "My apologies, swordsman and priestess, if I didn't do what I did, the situation would have become dangerous, for all of us."

He glanced towards his best friend on Yoan's back, seeing the blood dripping from his nose, flabbergasted. He only simply asked his best friend to fetch his two esteemed guests, but he didn't expect his best friend to be attacked this brutally.

If not for the man on his back, Yoan would have charged right at Mino. He glared at Mino, who noticed Yoan's hostile gaze, maintaining the smile on his face.

Hilia regarded Mino with a dubious stare. "Arresting us when we were trying to help you and the child, how do you expect us to trust you?"

"I trusted the two of you to help the child instead of me," Mino retorted, the two of them confused at his response. "I didn't expect the situation to get out of hand in that manner."

"The two of us?" Yoan repeated his words, suspicious.

"We can't afford to have this conversation here, follow me."

"We are not going anywhere with you." Hilia stated.

Mino spun around, his expression becoming solemn. "That man on your back is my best friend, a man I've known my entire life, whom I asked to help me while I distracted the guards. And if I wanted to cause any harm to the two of you, do you think I would have left you in the cell with your belongings?"

"That's-"

"Now, please. Follow. Me. If you don't want to die." Mino's smiling facade completely disappeared, a fierce look in his eyes. "An execution order will arrive soon from the king, for the both of you and it will be immediate."

Mino finished his words and instantly, a ball of light flew out from his chest, hovering right in front of him.

"Froiset. Mino."

With those words from Mino, the ball of light suddenly dispersed, revealing an object that resembled an octogonal pendant, made out of aquamarine as it continued hovering in front of Mino. A glowly aura surrounded the pendant and suddenly, a deep, commanding voice was heard from it.

"My loyal subjects."

Mino immediately kneeled on one knee, his head bowed down. "Your Majesty."

"The two new prisoners that was brought from the front gates who harmed an innocent child, execute them immediately."

The pendant stopped glowing after the king finished his sentence, though, it was still hovering right in front of Mino.

"Tesiorf. Mino."

The pendant transformed into a ball of light yet again, shooting itself right into Mino's chest, disappearing without a trace. Yoan and Hilia were astounded at the mystifying sight, as well as hearing the execution order from the king, right after Mino said it.

"Now, quickly, follow me," Mino spun around, walking briskly. "It won't take long before they start to scour around for any clues for the two of you."
