The henchmen didn't cease their attacks either, fortunately, Yoan could fight them off easily. Despite them being twice his size, they couldn't even touch him. Hilia inhaled a sharp breath, her eyes scouring the area and to her horror, she noticed multiple life forces heading their way. It seemed like that was an alarm to call for reinforcements.

"Uhhh, Yoan! There's more of them!"

"More of them?!"

"It's probably around fifteen--"

Her words were cut off when a guard rushing towards her suddenly kissed the ground as someone landed on him. She was startled as her eyes widened, and two more guards were treated in the same manner.

Everyone was taken aback by their unexpected appearance and they were women dressed in a black outfit, covering their whole body; even their face were concealed by masks. The three of them hurriedly fought off the remaining guards, their hands reaching for Hilia and Yoan without a pause, pulling them away.

"Hurry!" The person, a svelte woman, that wasn't holding onto either of them exclaimed, her voice rather high-pitched.

Hilia and Yoan couldn't catch a break as they ran along with the three women. They were lead to a small opening within the walls of the cave, that was hard to discern due to the poor lighting in this cave.

They ran in a straight line, somehow managing to squeeze past the small opening which lead to a bigger opening.

"Go on ahead with them!" The same person commanded and they ran past her, Hilia and Yoan being dragged along unwillingly.

The leader of those women spun around, inhaling heavily and closing her eyes. The ground below her gave out a light emerald glow and Hilia saw four leaf clover-shaped circle being drawn beneath her, glowing even brighter and the circle moved, taking on a more intricate design.

The emerald glow as well as the intricate shape below her made Hilia widened her eyes in recognition. She stopped abruptly in her steps, not budging from the spot as she watched the woman hovering slightly in the air.

The woman stretched her arms out, moving her hands about and forming lines in the air that glowed with a yellowish-golden colour. The lines resembled a rectangular and she made a pushing motion and the lines shot out towards the small opening in the wall.

It grew bigger and bigger, the glow disappearing and the rectangular became jagged at its edges. Eventually, it took on the texture of the cave walls, mimicking it and concealing the small opening.

"Woah." Yoan breathed out, stopping alongside Hilia, not budging from his spot either.

"...an illusionist. I can't believe it." Hilia whispered out and the two women glanced to her, surprised.

The glow disappeared from the woman and her feet touched the ground softly. She let out a long breath, spinning around and halting when she realised they were all there observing her intently.

Encountering an illusionist in Aeriola was a rare encounter, an encounter to be considered a blessing instead. Just like soldiers, warriors or any kind of fighter, who imbued their spiritual energy into their weapons, illusionists were people who imbued spiritual energy into their mind internally.

Channeling one's energy internally and imbuing it internally to cast a spell, it wasn't an easy feat. These were people who had an abundance of spiritual energy, and these people were commonly associated with royalty and nobles.

"I told you to go on ahead with them." The leader of the woman spoke with a gentle voice.

"We apologize, princess," the two women kneeled one on knee in a hasty manner, startling Hilia and Yoan. "They didn't want to move and we would rather not resort to brute force."

Princess?

Yoan and Hilia both frowned in confusion.

"It's alright, there's no need to apologise."

The leader of the woman brought her hand up, removing her mask and untying her hair which was tied up into a ponytail. Her peach eyes focused on Hilia and Yoan, and her wavy, orange hair cascaded down her waist. She smiled in a regal manner, an air of royalty surrounding her as she walked to them.

She was utterly beautiful, her flawless and porcelain skin as well as her delicate features, even Hilia found herself staring in awe. She was the epitome of an elegant beauty.

"Are the two of you alright?"

"Yes."

"Of course."

They answered at the same time, blinking once at each other before they looked back at the princess.

"Don't worry, you'll be safe now. I, Siraye, princess of Lathia, can most definitely assure you that."
