Chapter 426: Tonight Is A Go!

Black Demon Star, the Sky Demon System.

This colossal living planet was over 100,000 kilometers in diameter, and was either filled with towering valleys or vast fields, which were all faintly black.

Upon one of the vast plains, the legion of the Hundred Races Alliance were already starting to gather, with a force of dozens millions from around thirty races having arrived.

Some of their elite groups were all Convergence-tier or even Sufferance-tier.

They were grouped according to their race at different spots in the plains, with veins of aura that rushed up into the clouds and leaving anyone frightened.

Many other spacefaring races were also hurrying to the scene as well.

They had mobilized Heavenly Immortals, True Immortals, and even Golden Immortals, all of them bringing along personal grotto-heavens where their forces hid within.

And beyond the Black Demon Star was Jiang He.

Standing with his hands clasped behind his back, he could not help inhaling sharply even as he stared at the scene below.

Beside him was Hu Mei and Unknown Fox.

Right now, both Hu Mei and Unknown Fox were looking shocked and terrified as well.

Unknown Fox especially was dumbstruck.

What the hell!

That many?

Leaving aside the many immortal auras, the legion that numbered up to dozens of millions could kill immortals or gods if they managed to assume battle formations.

Unknown Fox was himself a True Immortal and strong, but a battle formation of several hundred thousand Mahayana or Sufferance cultivators would slaughter even True Immortals.

“My lord!”

Unknown Fox’s voice was shaking a little even as he subtly tugged at Jiang He’s sleeves, “My lord, should we retreat for now? There are too many immortals here—even if we exclude the soldiers that number up to dozens of millions, there are thousands, even ten thousand Heavenly Immortals and True Immortals. We are definitely dead if our whereabouts were exposed.”

“A mere dozen million legions, several thousand Heavenly Immortals and True Immortals are nothing to me.”

Jiang He answered nonchalantly. “However, I’m a little concerned about the Golden Immortals hiding themselves… didn’t the Ten Thousand Swords Daoist tell me there would be around a hundred Golden Immortals? Why are there a hundred of them already?”

As Jiang He spoke, he saw that a massive warp radiance had appeared on top of Black Demon Star. Laughter could be heard from within, and two giants that stood up to thirty feet and had skin like rock stepped out from a portal.

Those two stone giants were each holding a mystic tower, which they threw once they stepped out of the portal. It took to the skies and enlarged rapidly, becoming five hundred kilometers tall while up to forty immortal lights flew out from within.

And behind the immortal light were figures that numbered up to dozens of thousands.

One of the stone giants could be heard laughing then. “Everyone, we Stoners are few wouldn’t match other races, and can only mobilize thirty thousand Stone Warriors, ten True Immortals and twenty Heavenly Immortals.”

“Haha! You must be joking, Brother Stone Flame. Who isn’t aware that your Stone Warriors could fight hundreds alone? Your force of thirty thousand Stone Warriors would definitely match a legion of three million!”

That was when another figure flew toward them.

Having silver hair and wearing white robes that looked like snow, he carried an ancient sword on his back and appeared to be quite the dandy.

“Who is that?”

Jiang He asked in outer space.

He loved to hit dandies like that the most.

Unknown Fox, however, narrowed his eyes and exclaimed in shock, “It’s him… it’s him… it’s actually him! Why would the gods send him?”

Smack!

Jiang He slapped Unknown Fox on the back of his head and barked, “Mongrel, I’m asking you who he is. What are you being shocked about?”

Unknown Fox appeared not to feel any pain and inhaled deeply before saying seriously, “My lord, you were not in the celestial battlefield, so it made sense that you have not heard of the White Sky God King.”

“White Sky God King?”

Jiang He chuckled. “Is he a champion of the gods? I could tell that his aura is not weak, and twice stronger than the Golden Immortal that is the Ten Thousand Sword Daoist. Could he be very powerful?”

“Powerful?”

Unknown Fox retorted solemnly, “The White Sky God King is the youngest God King, having cultivated for less than a thousand years and the only champion who received the title of God King even before reaching God King realm. He was once encircled and attacked by sixteen top-level Golden Immortals, but still managed to carved himself a bloody path with his power alone.”

“He even fought a Grand Luo alone and killed him unscathed.”

“That was the fight that earned him the title of God King, and word has it that the Ruler of Gods had accepted him as a disciple and instructed him in the peerless divine arts of the gods.”

“The White Sky God King is therefore without question the most outstanding prodigy over the last thousand years.”

Having listened to all that, Jiang He could not help asking, “That’s it?”

“Those accomplishments are enough to make him a prodigy?”

“And that God King realm you speak of must be Grand Luo, is it not? I could tell that he is Golden Immortal-pinnacle from his aura… A Golden Immortal, outnumbered by sixteen peers only to barely escape with his life counts as a prodigy?”

Jiang He was most amused.

They dared to call that a prodigy?

Who gave him the gall to call himself a prodigy after cultivating for a thousand years, only to accomplish that little?

If that counted as being a prodigy, what would a newbie cultivator like him who cultivated little over half a year be?

After all, he had kept cultivating diligently.

He even had to create his own cultivation manuals.

Without any form of legacy or instruction from mentors, he had to name his cultivation tiers according to what he had read from novels about immortal heroes… it was lucky he managed to get it right!

Jiang He could not help reminiscing the path of his cultivation…

Over the last half year, most of his time had been spent farming and going on trips. Would the time he spent cultivating amount to a single day?

Probably… not?

Having heard Jiang He’s words of disdain, Unknown Fox quickly smiled to please him. “That’s for sure. Whatever prodigies dull in comparison to you, my lord.”

Jiang He said nothing and kept watching the White Sky God King.

***

At Black Demon Star, the silver-haired, white-robed Bright Sky God King suddenly turned his eyes to look up at the skies.

Beside him, a Golden Immortal God asked quietly, “What is it, White Sky God King?”

“It’s nothing.”

The White Sky God King shook his head.

Just now, he suddenly felt alarmed.

However, he found nothing after extending his senses. Could an elite be lurking around?

“No way, right?”

The White Sky God King was amused by his own thought.

With so many Golden Immortals gathered here, who could be so blind to daringly come and start trouble?

Moreover, an average Grand Luo would not win against him… not to mention that Grand Luos were not to fight in this planetary battle.

***

In outer space, Jiang He had taken Unknown Fox and Hu Mei into his farm when the White Sky God King looked up toward the horizon.

Within, Jiang He’s expression was terrible.

“Were we spotted?”

“Damn it!”

Cursing inwardly, Jiang He took a deep breath and said somberly, “Our location may have been exposed. To avoid alerting the enemy, I’ve decided that we should act today…

“What?”

Unknown Fox jumped and could not help exclaiming, “Are you really going to fight, my lord?”

“Is there a problem?”

Jiang He glanced at Unknown Fox and then at the diamond embedded watch on his wrist, saying, “It’s now 16:23 in Beijing time… We’ll attack after dinner, and we just might be able make it in time for supper afterwards… or are my arrangements unreasonable?”
