He met Eun Ji at the singing school. When they started dating, he received a chance with an entertainment company. He went ahead for training. She was still learning at the school. He got something, but he also lost someone for that chance.

He blamed Ju Jimin for this. But he was at fault. He wasn't there for her. Her feelings changed. So, she left him. They were young. Probably, that was why he couldn't understand. It was his first love. But it didn't mean that it wouldn't hurt. He just didn't want to accept that it was his fault before Eun Ji showed him the mirror.

They didn't speak a word. Seo Tae Il's silent tears wet Nam Ji Won's hand. She didn't ask any question or offer any word of sympathy. She rested her chin on Seo Tae Il's head, leaning on him with her hand covering Seo Tae Il's eyes. His back slightly leaned on her and felt her warmth. Her scent soothed him down. He smiled and thought how ridiculous it was. He punched her earlier because he blamed her for his break up and cheating his ex-girlfriend. Now, she was the one who was standing here beside him.

Just then, her stomach growled.

"Was that an earthquake or the sound of the elephant's stomach growling?" He asked and smiled. Nam Ji Won moved away from him.

"Tch! You owe me." She glared at him. "You blamed me and ruined my time with Hyo-Rin. You emptied by the bank by ordering costly dishes. You even punched me today."

Seo Tae Il was feeling better now. His heart felt lighter. This Jimin guy wasn't bad.

"Hyung, even if you are not the cause of my breakup, your actions are still wrong." He grinned when Nam Ji Won looked at him with shock. "You deserved my punch. You are the evil couple breaker. I understand it now. You chose Lee Hyo Rin for the same reason. I know that you do not like her. You even hate it when she touches you. You are funny to watch when she is there."

"..." She pinched her lips. This boy was not worth it.

"You better stop your dangerous service now, Hyung." He stepped closer to her. "Else, I will do much more than punch you."

"Hey!" She grabbed his head. "What did I ever do to you? Why don't you go on with your life and forget that I exist?"

"Hyung, I hate trashes like you." Seo Tae Il told her with a beautiful smile. "You are cheating the girls and making them fall for you. Then, you are making them break up with their boyfriends. These actions are not right."

Nam Ji Won snorted when she heard him. She bent her knees and looked into his eyes.

"Tae Il, say, I am just an outsider. If not me, there will be another guy or another girl. If the girl really loves the boy, will she choose me or someone else? Life is long. There will always be people who will try to seduce or flirt with people who are already taken. Then, will her feelings always change whenever someone comes in her life? She fell in love with me because she didn't love that boy in the first place."

Seo Tae Il became quiet. He couldn't find flaws in her argument. If the girl or boy really loved someone, they wouldn't just love someone else.

"Still, I don't think that your actions are right," Seo Tae Il said weakly.

Nam Ji Won smirked and patted his head.

"Don't think much about it. Go home. You had a hard day."

"Jimin, wait!"

"I am three years older than you. So, you better call me Sunbae or Hyung. "

She turned away from him and waved her hand. She walked home, whistling a song from a popular animated show. Seo Tae Il watched her back until it disappeared. He sighed.

After she was gone, he didn't leave immediately. He punched a number on his phone.

"Pick me up. I am on D street."

He cut the phone before the other party could talk.

Nam Ji Won took off her wig and her eye lenses. She fixed her hair before she entered her home. Her father and mother never found it unusual that she was wearing her brother's clothes. She borrowed her elder brother's clothes even when she was in elementary school. Somewhere in middle school, she started to borrow her sister clothes and her makeup. When her parents brought her new clothes, she would give them away to her siblings. Her family could never understand her quirks. They just accepted it as something she was.

"You are finally here." Her father glared at her. "I am starving to death."

"You could have dinner without me, Appa." She sat down to have dinner. "Why do you always wait for me?"

"How is it dinner if you are not here?" Her father patted her back. "You are getting skinny again."

"Appa, I was always skinny." She pouted at him. "I eat and eat, but I never get fat. Why are you this fat? I want to be round and handsome as you."

Her father roared loudly. Nam Ji Won also started laughing. The third person on the table was getting a headache while listening to their conservation.

"You are a girl." Her mother grumbled in a low voice. "Who will marry you if you are handsome? Why can't you become like your elder sister?"

Nam Ji Won shrugged her shoulder. "I don't want to get married. I want to become a doctor."

Suddenly, the table became quiet. It was the first time when Nam Ji Won spoke like this.

"Really?" Her mother watched her with brightness in her eyes. "A doctor?"

"I thought that you would become a cop like me." Her father stared at her wildly.

"A doctor isn't bad." Her mother smiled. "Nam Ji Won can become a doctor."

"What about fighting for justice?" Her father looked at her like she broke his heart. He always thought that Nam Ji Won was best to become a cop. "Who will catch those criminals?"

"Appa, Elder sister will fight for justice. She will not let me have any work at all. She wants to become a prosecutor. Then, the older brother is working hard to become a..." Nam Ji Won struggled to remember what he was studying for. He described it to her when he visited last time. "...a nematologist?"

"What is a nematologist?" Her father asked. "He didn't say that to me. I thought that he was studying to become a civil servant."

Nam Ji Won coughed. She let the secret out. Her big mouth. Her brother would kill her.

"Appa, that's a high paying post. He will be rich in the future." She laughed uneasily. "Let's have dinner. I am starving."

"My daughter will become a doctor." Her mother repeated giddily. She could already envision her in a white coat.

"I will support you. Just study hard to get into top medical college," Her father finally said. "I am happy that you told us what you want to study. You always hold yourself back."

Nam Ji Won nodded. When she was young, she often visited the hospital. Her body was not good at that time. She had low immunity. There was a time when people doubted whether she could even live a long life or not. Her father and mother paid her all the attention. They never hesitated in spending money for her treatment. Her siblings often felt ignored. Though they never said a word to her, she could feel it. When they had to go to college, there were not much savings left. Her parents had to take loans.

She didn't want to worry her parents anymore. But now, she was confident. She could earn her own money in to pay for her college even if she couldn't get a scholarship.
