Complete black surrounded her.
Yun Xiu was in complete darkness. She was trying to find a light source after being in this darkness for so long.
She can hear the desperate voice of a woman crying next to her.
Who was crying for her? Who was she?
She could not understand the concern the woman was showing her. Why was she worried about her when her own family tried to kill her?
Was it karma?
It must be heaven's way of tormenting her.
" Zhen Xiu wake up. I miss you.'' Said the voice again and it truly warmed her heart that there was someone who cared about her.
She was known as The Evil Princess- meaning bad and dangerous in her clan, no one has ever been this good to her. Not even her own mother; they were all busy hating her and finally, her father killed her.
Who was this strange girl crying for her?. She wants me to wake up. Then for her, she will wake up and will create havoc in this world again. She decided.
As soon as she made her mind, her soul felt a shocking jolt as if something was rushing inside her in full force. After this, an absolute warmth enveloped her whole being.
"You are ready to take my body."
Yun Xiu heard a serene voice and tried locating the source of the sound. Who was here in this darkness?
Suddenly she felt a blinding light emerging in the darkness. She covered her eyes because of the harsh glare and was not able to see the light.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the light source, in front of her, there stood a peerless woman.
The sudden appearance of the woman shocked Yun Xiu and she wondered about her last statement.
What does she mean by 'take over' her body?
"I am Zhen Xiu, the owner of this body. I am now dead and you are now present in my body. I don't have much time, so please listen to me."
Yun Xiu nodded silently.
"Please fulfill my last wish." The beautiful woman sadly asked her.
Yun Xiu was not a fool but this situation was too strange for her.
She unconsciously asked. "How?"
"Don't worry it is not that difficult. You just have to make sure that my husband will fall in love with you. I just want to hear him say 'I love you' to me once. Then my soul will be able to rest in peace"
"PLEASE do this for me and in return, you will get a new life. Promise me and then we will be able to swap our souls."
Zhen Xiu nodded without giving it a second thought.
After speaking these words the beautiful woman disappeared from her sight and gradually Yun Xiu was regaining her conscious.
Slowly, very slowly she opened her eyes. She was in a plain white room. A girl was sitting near her wearing odd clothes, a short skirt, and a sleeveless blouse. She has a sweet face and caring eyes.
"Xiu, Oh! my god!! You are awake. I missed you." This was the same voice who was worried about her.
"UMM… water" She croaked.
Her throat was dry and it looks like she was sleeping for a long time.
This new life was a blessing in disguise for her and she was willing to return this favor to the deceased soul.
The anxious girl quickly gave her a glass of water and after drinking, she asked the concerned girl about her whereabouts.
The girl visibly paled.
"Xiu. You don't remember me. I am your best friend Shen Ya"
