"What are you waiting for?" Lu Jian raised his eyes at her silent form.
He didn't want to play with her and risk his wife's life because of some unknown danger coming from her past. He needs to protect her from everything. This was his way to redeem himself after treating her so harshly before at the beginning of their marriage.
This was something that he needs to understand and take responsibility for; his past behavior was unwanted and even childish.
"Listen, I know you care about her but she is my wife. I have the right to know about her past." Lu Jian softly asked her, leaving his haughty attitude and bad behavior aside.
Jiang Wui was also surprised at his brother's change in tone. He was really willing to change himself for her sake.
"You should have asked her instead. Why should I tell you anything?" Shen Ya asked him angrily.
