"You have to give a chance to know whether I am changed or not." Lu Jian whispered.
He did not want to fight with her over some silly issues that were coming from her distrust towards him. He knew that she was not completely wrong in her dislike towards him hence he tried controlling his temper in front of this woman.
She was important to his wife.
Now that he knows about his feelings and is sure about his love towards her; he didn't intend to cause further trouble in this house. His wife would decide what she wanted to do next now in their relationship. He can only wait and acknowledge the punishment he was going to receive.
Shen Ya didn't hear his last sentence and probably was not even in a mood to sought her relationship with him.
But his silence irked her more than anything else. He was treating her as air.
"What did you say?" She asked him suspiciously.
Any word coming out of his mouth could not be counted as good. She has to listen to his explanation.
Lu Jian's face darkened as Shen Ya kept pestering him about his earlier words. It was not that he was not giving her importance but she was being too forceful as if he was cursing her entire family.
Sometimes, he could not understand his problem.

"I did not say anything." Lu Jian patiently replied. "I was just thinking about Xiu."
Shen ya frowned. Clearly, this man was lying. He was just too flawless in his act that she could not just accuse him of lying. After all, it was her fault that she did not hear his previous words.

"The girl who married me was a clone. The girl you treat as your lifeline was a clone and if you are a bit smart then you probably can guess that from the past half month we were living with the real Zhen Xiu." Lu Jian proposed his hypothesis.
This might be his intuition but he has felt the change in her as soon as he saw her different attitude and behavior towards him. She did not change her attitude for Shen Ya but her way of acting and behavior towards him completely changed.
It might be the reason that Shen Ya never suspected about her identity because both the personality of his wife were likable to her. Hence she didn't see the change.
"You mean Xiu is already no more with us." Shen Ya trembled as these words came out of her mouth.
Now that Lu Jian mentioned this, she remembered the vague differences during their interactions. Although they were not big enough changes she has noticed the little differences.
"Aunt told you this." Shen Ya asked.
Lu Jian shook his head. "No, but think about Zhen Xiu's behavior after she woke up from the coma."
"But…" Shen Ya wanted to reject his theory but now that she thinks about it, she seems to accept it as she remembers the various incidents.

This was the most unbelievable thing that came out of her mouth. At that time, Shen Ya thought that her lazy friend was changing for the better.
'I don't live Lu Jian. Trust me!'
