They felt like becoming weaker versions of Deliora the immortal Demon that destroyed villages from the Northern Continent and was cut up in pieces before Ur could use her secret ice magic.

Atop the ruins, the kids hide so they can observe something that seemed like a ritual taking place there.
??? : Hey Lyra why do we need so much moon water?? Or moon drops or tears or whatever it's name is...
Lyra : According to master, it can be used as a fuel that can dispel Ice related spells.
Lyra : The Ritual Moon Drip, gathers the power of the moon's rays, and condense them into tiny drops and the use on such a scale conversion is the cause for the Island's curse.
