In the King Bar of an unknown town, some guys are reading a Sorcerer Magazine and are making fun of Fairy Tail while doing it.
Those guys have started laughing at the mess that almost destroyed them and didn't notice a figure behind them walking up behind them.
When they finally felt something out of ordinary and looked back the recognise those traits the figure had and they scream in shock as it was Laxus Dreyar before they run away scared.
A guy who is sitting next to the wall, and also recognised Laxus started laughing before getting closer to him as he spoke...
??? : It seems that you have some presence, are you Makarov Dreyar's grandson ???
Bartender : You two don't make trouble.....
??? : There is no point in picking a fight with a guild like that.
Laxus : You are Zato right?? Although i know your name i have never heard anything noteworthy of you...
Zato : That's because i stay in the background and don't make a fool of myself in magazines.
Laxus : If you really want to die, go outside.
Zato : The one who is going outside is you Laxus.
Laxus was hit somehow leaving all the people with open mouths and is sent flying through the wall while commoners start screaming and running away.
Zato : Hahahahaha, how weak is Fairy Tail??? Should go hunt some of the big-chested Fairies tomorrow.
But while saying it, lightning appears from the ground and zapped his as an explosion occurred which sends him flying. Some spectators are shocked to see lighting come from the ground. Zato falls to the ground burned and defeated.
Laxus : Although i admit Fairy Tail is currently weak... You can't even hunt dogs...
The smoke clears, and Laxus is revealed to be uninjured. Other spectators are surprised that Zato was defeated so easily and Laxus scoffs, calling him pathetic, subsequently angrily asking when people started looking down on Fairy Tail.
In Magnolia Town, Lucy Heartfilia heads home with her Spirit pet, Plue in tow. She wished she could find a good job.
When she reaches her apartment, she is surprised to know that no one is there. Usually, one or all of the members of her team would be making themselves at home in her apartment.
After a warm shower, she heads to bed only to find Natsu already sleeping there. Before she kicks him and Happy out, Happy shows her the brochure of Magnolia's upcoming Harvest Festival in which Fairy Tail would be participating in as well as the Miss Fairy Tail contest that has a 500,000 Jewel reward.
When Lucy heard that everything went out of the window and let them rest there as she decided to join the contest and win so she can pay her rent.
While everyone had their own thoughts about the Festival, meanwhile, the Thunder God Tribe travelled northwest of Shirotsume Town and arrive at the location of the Dark Guild Ghoul Spirit.
Evergreen saw the Mages of Ghoul Spirit as if they were laughing at them.
Bickslow : They're utter fools.
When they heard this the Mages of Ghoul Spirit charged at them, yelling that they won't get out of their guild alive.
Evergreen : The world is coming to an end since Ghoul Spirit, a guild lurking in the shadows, is attempting to stand up to a legal guild.
She removes her eyeglasses and the group that was charging at her turns to stone. This enrages the Mages of Ghoul Spirit and more members charge towards them. Bickslow moves his wooden dolls and they shoot beams of green light at Ghoul Spirit, blowing them all away.
Bickslow : Baby!!!!
Freed : That's enough.
Bickslow : Is it over already??
Freed : I'm surprised they even managed to form a guild, being this weak.
Evergreen : It's because they resorted to illegal activities.
Bickslow : Tsk... My "babies" need more fun than that.
Freed : We have the perfect thing in mind.
Evergreen : Is it the thing that Laxus was talking about and that the time has come.
Freed : Yes!!! It's time to head home for once, to Fairy Tail.
