Both their size and the numbers of generated blades were greatly varied, ranging from barrages of small attacks to single, devastating cutting move.
When it clashed with the wall of Hoteye it cut through it like tofu but that was helpful to them in order to predict it's trajectory and avoid any critical damage...
He then generated more by waving his hands, and which were strong enough to effortlessly slice through solid stone nearby cleanly bifurcating them.
Seeing Midnight's strength, Eve and Ren tried to escape. Eve used his Magic : White Fury attack to give him time to escape but it is ineffective as it changed directions from him puzzling the two but not Hoteye...
It was the that Hoteye used his Liquid Ground and started sinking Midnight in it as Ren wondered why none of his Magic is hitting Midnight.
Hoteye : Don't falter that's his Reflector Magic...
Ren : Aerial Magic : Shots
He kept barraging him but it kept missing. Without moving an inch, Midnight yawned at the three as he sent again waves of his Invisible Scythe catching Eve and Ren off guard as they were too close to him...
Both of them didn't expect for him to send 100 of those slashes and were caught up in them. Eve was slashed all over his body as he fainted from the pain while Ren got his face to get slashed across.
Midnight : This makes two, this hunt is very dull....
He turned towards Hoteye and said to him with a glint in his eyes....
Midnight : I hope you are a bit stronger...
Realizing that Hoteye was the only one left and as he had changed sides, he no longer needs him to their team.
Midnight attacks him with his Invisible Scythe once again which slices the trees around them as they were trying to find their way towards him.
However, Hoteye manages to save himself and the group of two with his Earth Magic as they sunk into the ground...
A few meters away Hoteye submerged and attacked with his Liquid Ground, but Midnight didn't even move as he deflected away.
Hoteye watching this noticed that Midnight has small gaps in his magic and that was he couldn't protect himself from two attacks clashing as a result of reflection...
He then becomes serious and started using his Magic to attack and also swift a bit the ground waiting for a chance...
As the battle continues, using his Heaven's Eye, Hoteye is able to see through anything, enabling him to pinpoint Midnight's gap location.
At that moment he got attacked by 3 places stunning Midnight as he could only reflect one and was too late for the others...
His reflection kicked in and made the two of them clash while he took the full brunt of the third attack blown him away as he bounced off the ground and landed on Hoteye's Liquid Ground sinking in the earth...
