After recalling Suika, Ed summoned his three monsters. "Gobuta, Goburou, and Garu. All of you will be fighting today, it's time to get some hands-on experience. I won't be saving you in case you're in danger" Although Ed said that, it was only to sound serious. He would not let his monsters die as long as he could help it.

All three of them had the same level as Suika. Ed asked the system about that and he was told that the monsters he summons from now on would be at the level of the weakest of his already existing monsters. This was done so the monsters would actually be of help to Ed and not waste time trying to make them stronger.

Ed made it to the monsters he had chosen; it was a group of five monkey-like monsters. They were called Fang monkeys due to their overgrown fangs and all of them were at Knight Establishment level 5. Exactly the kind of challenge Ed's monsters needed to face. The three of them readied themselves with their swords at hands and started their assault.

Gobuta was the first one to advance and reached the closest monkey. He swung his sword as strong as he could but it got stuck on the muscles of the monkey. The monkeys were also known for their muscle's strength that no one under King Establishment could pass. Ed was excited while waiting to see how his monsters would overcome such a challenge.

Goburou and Garu also reached two other monkeys and started fighting them, albeit having the same results. Their slashes would penetrate the skin but never go past the muscles. Ed thought that the three of them would try and target some soft spots since that was the way most people that were in Knight Establishment would kill them. However, what the three of them did next, stunned him.

Gobuta, Goburou, and Garu all coated their swords with QI. Ed hadn't taught them to do this but it seemed like they had a natural talent to use QI. 'I should teach them other stuff than sword techniques' Ed had focused on sword techniques since he hadn't expected the three of them to be able to use QI in their early stage.

The fight after using QI went very differently. A QI sword was a lot stronger than a normal one. Although the swords Ed had given to the three of them were common swords, they still showed spectacular effects. The swords could now, not only cut through the muscles but completely sever the arms of the monkeys.

"Heh!" The three of them let out a snicker that enraged the monkeys causing them to lunge at them. They were trying to bite them with their fangs, only to get beheaded by them. Ed's training showed its effect as they could easily react to the monsters' sudden attack. All three of the monkeys had been killed and only two survived.

The monkeys that were left didn't escape but instead rushed at Ed. His three monsters reacted immediately and intercepted the monkeys. It was simply a repeat of earlier and soon the monkeys fell to the ground.

Ed didn't store the bodies of these monkeys as they were useless to him and simply opened up the Map. "Good job you guys." Ed complimented the three of them and searched for an even bigger challenge. The three looked happy because of the compliment and waited while Ed finished his search. Soon found another mob of monsters and recalled the three of them. Both he and Raikou were a lot faster than them, so it would be faster if they were summoned after reaching the place.

The monsters this time were a group of lizard-like reptiles. They were all King Establishment level 1-2. These monsters had the fire element and their fangs were laced with poison. The poison would kill anyone under Knight Establishment level 5 in only a few minutes so the three had to be careful.

"Watch out for their bites and don't get distracted by the fire magic they have thrown at you. Keep your guard up at all times" Ed gave them the best advice he could think of and let them attack.

The monsters this time noticed them and attacked them before they could reach them. Fire arrows and balls were thrown at them. There were five lizards so Gobuta and the rest would get overwhelmed if they didn't act smartly. Gobuta and the other two maintained a level-headed approach and simply dodged the magic while keeping check of the lizards. Soon enough they were right in front of them.

The lizards had no choice but to try and kill the approaching three with their poison. Their fire magic didn't even slow them down so they didn't think further than that. The lizards did the same thing as the monkeys from before and lunged at the three, however, Gobuta, Goburou, and Garu were ready.

They timed their sword swing at the right time, slashing upwards causing the head of three lizards to fall. The two lizards that didn't get killed almost bit Gobuta and Goburou, but the two of them were swift enough to dodge backward. The three of them then killed the lizards and returned to Ed's side.

Ed was surprised at the strength of his monsters. Although he had trained them hard this past week, their performance was still much greater than he had expected. However, they still had a lot of room to improve since currently, they were the weakest out of Ed's monsters. 'Perhaps if they evolve a second time their abilities would get even stronger' Ed was thinking about future possibilities while deciding on his next move. It was now sundown and he didn't feel like hunting in the night.

Ed searched for a proper resting place and set up his camp there. He made some food from the monster meat he had in his Inventory and fed Gobuta and the rest first. He then recalled them and summoned Suika. The three ate again and prepared to sleep. He had to get up early in the morning to hunt even more.
