'Shit, this wolves are really so big up close' Michael thought as he tip-toed inside the den, as he looked at the huge sleeping wolf just a few feet away from him.
Afraid that he would wake them up, he even went as far as covering some parts of his body with mud.
'They would probably maul me to death if they suddenly wakes up and discovers me' Michael thought as he slowly made his way inside the den as quiet as possible.
'Will there be a cub at the end of the den? I don't want to go to another den and sneak inside like a thief in darkness, and my chances of getting discovered would increase if the other den had more wolves than here' Michael thought helplessly.
'At least it's not that smelly inside' he thought as he continued to cautiously moved forward.
Michael moved his foot forward slowly, then the wolf beside him suddenly opened its eyes and its pair of ears standing straight as it slowly raised its upper body and warily looked around while sniffing the air inside their den.
Sniff! Sniff!
'Shit!' Michael cursed when he saw the wolf's nose slowly turning towards him, so he slowly moved backward until his back is against the wall of the den.
Sniff! Sniff!
The wolf continued to slowly moved towards Michael, as its nose continued to twitch as it certainly registered an unknown smell inside their home.
'Shit, shit, shit! This is even more nerve wracking than facing a hundred men all armed to the teeth' Michael thought as his pair of eyes never left the wolf in front of him.
Sniff! Sniff!
The nose of the wolf finally arrived just a few inches away from him, as it continued to sniff towards his direction.
Growl~
The blood wolf growled as it finally confirmed that there's a different smell in the particular direction that its facing. It straightened its body and started sniffing very close at Michael's face, while the man in question immediately turned away his head towards the side as it would be bad if the wolf manages to detect the very faint breathing in front of it.
'I love dogs, but just this time, I really hate them' Michael thought, as his body would literally merge with the wall with how much he's already sticking his body against the wall.
'Just how long is this gonna go on? Go to f*cking sleep already, you damn mutt!' Michael cursed, as his hand gripped tightly on his dagger, ready to strike at the opportune moment that the wolf really discovers him.
Whine~
The blood wolf softly whined before it turned its back towards Michael and went back to sleep, which made Michael sighed in relief.
'Good, I almost got a heart attack'
'If only this was the real world, then two to three bullets would have been enough to put you down' Michael thought in anger, as he took a rest for a minute before he finally continued to move forward when he determined that the wolf had fallen asleep once again, but this time, he was more cautious in his steps.
A few minutes later.
Michael left the wolf den and started to head deeper inside the Blood Wolves territory to look for another den.
'Dammit, there are no wolf cubs inside'
'I only have an hour left before my time is up' Michael thought as he looked at the timer floating from the corner of his eyes.
'Hmm?' Michael's eyes suddenly turned sharp as he halted in his steps and hid behind a tree, it was because he noticed a couple figures crouching along a huge thicket of bushes in the distance in front of him.
Michael peeked from behind the three, 'What are they doing? Don't tell me they're planning to also capture a couple of wolf cubs?'
Michael slowly made his way towards the group of people, as he wanted to also see who the heck they are.

"Go already, we don't have that much time left" a hunter said through their team channel.
"Dammit, you're gonna pay me ten thousand dollars if I die, and thirty thousand dollars for a cub that I managed to get, right?" the assassin said.
"Of course, we already signed the contract. What are you worrying for?" said their Tank, his face looked annoyed looking at the assassin in front of him.
"I just wanted to make sure that I don't die in vain" the assassin scoffed before he went into stealth and made his way over towards the wolf den.
Meanwhile.
They didn't know that there's someone watching them from a few meters away, observing their every movement.
'So there were actually players that didn't leave yet and had the same goal as me' Michael thought when he saw their names from where he's hiding.
'But that dumb assassin is gonna die, his level is lower than the wolves here and how the heck will you even see in that almost complete darkness without a specific night vision skill?' he thought, while scoffing at how dumb the assassin is that he just directly entered the den without even properly investigating it.
'It's either he's truly dumb without any skills whatsoever or that he also has a skill like me that enables him to-'
"Ahhhh!"

Michael's thought was cut off when a piercing scream of despair echoed from the den before it disappeared and was replaced by the wolves growling inside.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
A couple of wolves jumped out from their den and started looking around their surroundings while growling in anger.
"Run!"
Suddenly, an idiot yelled and started running towards the opposite direction.
"Idiot! Why did you run!?" one of them yelled angrily at the person who was the first to flee.
"Scatter!"
The group of players fled in every direction, while the wolves chased after them, with one adult wolf at least chasing behind them.
'How dumb' Michael thought while shaking his head.
'They could've just stayed in their hiding spot and let the danger pass. It's not like they would be able to smell us when the night wind is blowing in our favor'
'But thank you for your sacrifices because I only need to get pass that wolf guarding the entrance of their den' Michael thought with a huge grin on his face, before he slowly got up and made his way over.

'There's three cubs!' Michael screamed in delight when he reached the end of the den and saw the three cute wolf cubs sleeping on their bed made of leaves.
Michael took out a small rectangular shaped basket from his Inventory, and slowly but surely carried the cubs inside without waking them up, and after doing all that, he stood up and carried the cage in his arms and hastily dashed towards the exit with everything he has.
It's because the basket doesn't do shit except for storing herbs, and Michael had the absurd thought to use it when he was planning this night activity.
But before Michael could make his quick escape from the den, he saw the wolf guarding the entrance earlier now blocking the exit and staring at him with eyes full of rage.
Roar!
The wolf roared and quickly pounced towards him with its jaws wide open, ready to bite him into two.
"Not a chance!" Michael laughed as he blinked away and appeared a couple of meters away from behind the wolf.
Awoo!
The wolf howled angrily when it saw Micahel running away with their cubs in his hands.
Awoo!Awoo!Awoo!
Then multiple howls responded back in a distance not too far away from them.
"Shit, they are coming back. I need to get back at the camp as fast as possible or else I would be mauled to death!" Michael cursed, as he ran and ran and never looked back while a huge wolf chased behind him.
'Shit, my speed has become slower because I'm carrying three cubs in my arms' Michael thought as he took a quick peek behind him, and what he saw made him laughed in madness.
It was because there are now five wolves chasing behind him, and the distance between them is shortening by each passing second.
"This idea is so bad" Micahel laughed, as he wasn't even perturbed now that he's being chased by five huge wolves as big as an SUV, who can't wait to tear him to pieces!
"Hahaha, Catch me if you can, you bastards!"
Half an hour earlier.
Awoo! Awoo! Awoo! Awoo! Awoo!
General Ouki, who's been resting on his bed suddenly opened his eyes when he heard the howls of the wolves coming from the distance.
"What a troublesome kid, it seems he did managed to snatch a wolf cub with how restless their howls have become" General Ouki smiled, as he stood up and started donning his huge armor.
"It seems we'll have a little bit of fun tonight"
"Fufufu!"
A few moments later, General Ouki came out of his tent, donned in his armor while carrying his huge glaive in his hand.
"Sir, the men are ready" Shin said as he came before him.
"Good, let's have some quick midnight snack men!" General Ouki grinned, as he yelled to his men.
"UOHH!"
His men roared in laughter as they readied themselves to face the incoming swarm of wolves heading towards their direction.
