As soon as the situation calmed down, we lost some men but we defeated the Northern Wei Tribe. It was a victory on our side. I was really happy that those men were killed, not that I am a bad person I just thought I was saved. Instead of being captured by those men I'd rather be in the hands of the General since I don't think they mean harm to me. I have already stayed with them for almost a week now so I guess I know them a little.
I checked on the wounds of the General since i am worried that the older wounds would open up again but luckily, he didn't suffer ant fatal wounds nor really wounded it just some small bruises from the fall and that's all.
But Bo Hai on the other hand was wounded on his left arm but he is not in danger. We lost 6 men. The general made a decent funeral with those bodies since we cannot bring those cadavers with us, we still have a long way to go, they will just decompose along the way.
After the funeral we moved along. The General asked Bo Hai to checked the surroundings so that we can set our tents for the night.
I was preparing myself to go to bed when I heard a voice asking permission to talk to me-
"Miss Sarah Parker, can I talk to you for a moment please?" the General said in a low husky voice.
Upon hearing his voice my heart was beating crazily and I don't understand why, but base on my experience I seem to like him a bit and I find that voice sexy. I felt a heat on my cheeks. I shook my head to wake me up.... OMG what is this? I cant believe I am starting to like him. I slapped my face' WAKE UP' I told my self.
I answered, "Oh, okay I will be right there a little".
"Hmm" he answered.
When he saw me out, he asked me if we can have a walk, we need to talk about an important matter.
I said, "Yes".
He started talking, "I would like you to listen to me first before giving your thoughts back, and I hope that you will understand that I am doing this to protect you since you save me twice already. I sincerely wanted to protect you, Miss Sarah Parker.
