They woke up late at noon, Bai Xiaolian turned her body around while still lying on the bed just to see Li Ming Yue sleeping beside her. She didn't move instead, she stayed that way for nobody knows how long just to look at every feature of Li Ming Yue's face.
After a while, Li Ming Yue opened his eyes and saw that Bai Xiaolian is looking at him, and he smiled.
"so, how was your siesta"? The General asked.
Bai Xiaolian stretched her arms upward and yawned a bit and said, "i was able to rest. Thanks for letting me have a comfortable bed to sleep here".
"i would give you everything you want and need here as long as you are wanting it, you can have everything". He replied Bai Xiaolian.
"i would like to talk to you about something...i hope you would listen to me". He continued.
Bai Xiaolian sit back and place a pillow behind her back and leaned, "it seems serious isn't it? Tell me, what is it"? Even though she had slept and rested but her patience is not that long and she can't wait for Li Ming Yue to tell her everything.
Li Ming Yue sighed before he started talking, "tomorrow I need to go back to the Imperial City to submit my report to the emperor, since I was already away for less than a year now. I have to leave you here for more or less one week because you have to learn how to dress up, learn some things that are necessary for you when you stay inside the city, and we will be looking for a family that will adopt you into their household so that you can be registered as a citizen here for me to be able to marry you. And I will also ask my father to help me get an Imperial Edict from the emperor for our marriage."
"I understand everything you say, since in my world it is also the same process most likely but nowadays, they are not important anymore, everybody can marry whatever nationality they like without having the trouble of changing their nationality or getting citizenship changed, but the thing is, I don't feel safe when I'm not with you". Bai Xiaolian uttered while looking straight to the eyes of Li Ming Yue. she has never felt scared before but recalling how Tzi Mi Na looking at her with those jealous and judging eyes before she feels the chill inside her. She is now worried.
Li Ming Yue saw that she is worrying so, he held her hands and lifted her chin for her to look him in the eyes," I was not left with a choice, I have to follow the rules so that I can marry you. I am also reluctant to go and leave you alone here, but don't worry nobody is going to hurt you here, I will leave two of my men to look out for you and Tzi Mi Na to help you with everything and the family where you will be staying, I will see to it that they will not harm you. They will face my wrath if something will happen to you, I promise you that".
"Okay, this time I will trust you but please come back as soon as you can. Don't make me wait too long or I will escape from here and you will not see me anymore", she glared and with her finger pointing at him with a warning.
He smiled and nodded then he asked, "Can I hug you? I am just happy right now".
