Nine nodded at Shade and Seyton, dismissing the two. She pulled Nocturne into her arms and carried him bridal style, ignoring the furious blush that had started up on his face. She hoped that his little crush would fade soon.

What he was feeling was probably just a façade of love. Being the first one he saw when he woke up, combined with the Vampiric charm, had sent his heart beating, causing him to mistake it as love for her. It probably didn't help that she was his sire, causing a few unspeakable emotions and bond to form between them. When it wore off, he would stop. He was just temporarily infatuated with her, and after Yashiro, she wasn't willing to undertake another exploration into love just yet, if ever.

Not to mention, if he was gay, then he would probably be disgusted upon finding out her real gender, right? Since this was the case, then she wouldn't give him any false hope. She hoped that like this, his infatuation would die down quicker. She had indeed been a bit harsh with her wordings previously. He was probably a bit mentally fragile upon waking up from a long period of eternal sleep.

She carried Nocturne into her bedroom and deposited him on the bed.

Nocturne looked at her with dazed eyes, seemingly feeling like he was dreaming. Was he really dreaming? Could Vampires even dream? If this wasn't a dream, then wasn't this moving too fast!? But, he…he was willing even if he had to be on the bottom. The blush on his face crept up in intensity, causing his whole face to become an enchanting shade of red. The sight of his red cheeks with his pale skin and white visage made one feel like biting into those cheeks.

Nine eyed his red cheeks and couldn't help but reach out of pinch it, admiring the shade. Her actions carried a faint hint of apology. The skin under her fingertips grew warmer. Nocturne wondered if he was imagining the apology in Nine's actions. He looked at Nine's indifferent expression and handsome face and felt himself grow shy. He wanted to hide his face in his hands until he stopped blushing like a virgin. When had he, Nocturne Asher, ever been shy in his entire life?!

Nine pulled Nocturne into her lap, causing him to choke back the shock that wanted to leave his lips.

"W-what are you doing?!" Nocturne couldn't help but say, trying to climb off Nine's lap. Although the both of them were Vampires now, and there was no plausible way that his weight would crush him, Nocturne still felt strange sitting on a smaller teen's lap. He was already twenty-years-old. Sitting on a fourteen-year-old's lap was just shameful! Not to mention, even if Nine wanted to, he definitely wouldn't ever do anything until the other was of age. At the most, he would kiss a little, maybe? Nocturne wavered. What if Nine really wanted his body? Would he give in or not? No, no. The other was only fourteen. He wouldn't.

Nine looked at Nocturne's face and immediately knew he was thinking too much, but she let him continue because she had been too harsh in her rejection of him earlier. He already belonged to her, since he was her Vampiric childe, so she had a bond with him already. The status board told her that as well. Since he was hers, then she had to take care of his emotional wellbeing as well. It was just that his infatuation with her would go nowhere, so she had to let him down gently.

She flicked his forehead, causing him to cover his forehead instinctively, looking at her with wide eyes. She suddenly felt that he was rather cute as well. At least, he would be fun to bully. She smirked at him.

"Aren't you hungry?" she asked, popping the first button in her shirt. She pulled it open, arching her neck invitingly. She motioned for him to open his mouth and noted that his fangs were still rather blunt. Realising this, she sliced open a small portion on the side of her neck.

Rivulets of blood trickled down, causing Nocturne's eyes to go entirely red, his hunger outweighing his disappointment that he had just been thinking too much. Even if he wouldn't let anything happen, it was still upsetting to know that he had been overthinking all by himself.

Hungrily, he watched as the blood slowly flowed down Nine's neck, staining the white dress shirt with drops of red. Surprisingly, the blood that had been entirely gold before she injected it into her body had reverted back to red, showing no other qualities. It was as if it had reverted back to simplicity, hiding all its unique characteristics.

Nine watched him with amused eyes, wondering how long it would take for him to start drinking.

Sure enough, he couldn't hold on much longer, but still looked at her for permission, causing her to give him the faintest of smiles as encouragement.

Permission given, Nocturne leaned forward to lap gently at her neck, instinctively biting down. Since his fangs were blunt, he couldn't break skin, but he still left a couple of marks that were being rapidly healed by Nine's Vampiric healing. Nocturne scowled at his but ultimately ignored it, lost in the intoxicating flavour of the blood.

It was so much better than he could have ever imagined it to be. It was like the blood was singing to him, an intoxicating cocktail of flavours and scent that drove him wild. It tasted like heaven had entered his mouth, leaving him bereft for more. Nocturne closed his eyes as he slowly savoured the taste, which was utterly incomparable to the blood he had drank back when he first woke up from the blood bags.

Seeing Nocturne lost to the world, clutching onto her like a clingy koala, Nine helplessly carried him together as she pulled more blood bags from her fridge, pouring it into a wine glass.

The scent of the blood from the bags being opened didn't even cause Nocturne of flinch at all, lost as he was in the ecstasy of drinking. Nine raised a brow at this. She carried him back to the bed as she casually sipped on the blood to replenish the amount that she was losing to her Vampire childe.

Luckily, she would continue growing until she wanted to stop growing, being able to halt the aging process with a mere thought. If she had been stuck in this puny fourteen-year-old body for all of eternally, she would have made Deltan's every day a living hell for as long as they both existed. Both for making her turn herself into a Vampire and for him carelessly allowing a Vampire to drop some blood on him!

The more she thought about it, the more indignant she felt. Her stupid elder brother. She would have to torture him harder when she had successfully cured him of that Red Spider Lily mark. With his enhanced body, he would be able to take a beating more than ever.

A chilling smile grew on her face, scaring Nocturne as he woke from his drinking, thinking that it was directed at him. The smile made him think of when Nine rejected him earlier.
