After the auction, the last event of the night was taking place. It was a social event again, but it was known amongst the crowd that the main focus would be dancing. Now that everyone had spoken and observed the people in the room, it was time to choose their pick.

Many individuals began to eye each other, trying to find a worthy dance partner.

Similar to a blind date, through the dance, people would be able to see if the other was worthy of them. To see how well they fit with one another.

Of course, for one who wasn't talented in the art of dancing it would be disadvantageous, however, it was also their fault for not practicing enough. Any flaw was looked down upon.

The orchestra began to play whimsical music with their violins, cellos, and flutes.

To set the mood, a couple began to walk to the floor to dance. Soon enough, many others followed with their partners.

Seeing the flood of people dancing reminded Yoona of those foreign movies set in the 18th century. Where these types of events were common among the nobles and royalty. the women in the beautiful dresses dancing with men in suits. Something about the air was romantic. It was a unique way of showing interests to whomever catches your eye.

"Do you know how to dance?" Minhyun asked. They stood comfortably by a table watching the scene unfold.

Yoona shook her head. Oh, how she wished she was blessed with the ability to move her body along with music. "Barely. I have two left feet."

He glanced at her feet. "You can't be so bad."

"You haven't seen me at the karaoke. I resemble one of those balloon people that you see on the streets. You know? The ones that flail around."

Imagining Yoona's body moving like how she depicted only made Minhyun chuckle. She had to be exaggerating.

"Besides," she continued. "Wouldn't it be bad if I danced and made a fool of myself. It would look bad on your part. Plus, it doesn't add anything to our revenge since Jaemin isn't here." After the auction he had just disappeared as if he never came. The Moon group was still present so the only explanation was that he got into deep shit and from Jaeun's anxious expression it further proved her case. Her plan had succeeded. She was glad that Minhyun and her was able to get out safely. With only Ji-ho left, she assumed that their deed for the night would be complete.
"You already know that I care about you more than my image. Also, although revenge is important…" Minhyun leaned towards her ear. "It isn't my top priority."

Yoona cocked her head. "Then what is your top priority?"

The corner of his lips curled into a smile. "You."

Of course he would say that. When will she ever learn? She gave him a clear window of opportunity to give a flirtatious statement. Yet, her body's immediate response to his affection didn't subside.

She cleared her throat. "And what does that have to do with dancing?"

"I want to dance with you."

His answer was clean and straight to the point. It was hard for Yoona to reject his offer.

She shook her head. "I've never ballroom danced like this before. I've only copied the dance moves of idols on the television screen…"

"Good enough for my standards. We can take it easy. I'm a great teacher." He bowed slightly and offered his hand. "Shall we dance?"

Yoona reluctantly accepted his hand. By the looks of all the professionals on the floor, her clumsiness would indeed stand out. However, knowing that her partner was Minhyun all she could do was trust him.

---

The moment she stepped on his foot, she knew dancing was a terrible idea. Everyone around them was experienced, dancing like pros, while she was struggling to get the basic steps down. Whatever they were.

"It's okay," he whispered. One hand was on her waist while the other clutched onto her hand. He gently danced around, making sure to move slow enough for her to follow. "Just follow my lead."

"That's the problem. I don't know how to follow your lead!"

He gestured for her to look down with his eyes. "When I step back, you step forward. Basically you do the opposite of me when it comes to your feet. Got it?"

Yoona nodded.

They did test run. For such simple instructions, actually carrying it out was far more complicated. Her body wouldn't move the way she wanted it to. She could feel judging eyes on her as well from the spectators. Despite feeling uncomfortable, she continuously tried her best to follow his instructions. She could do this! After some more tries, although she was still struggling, the steps were getting a lot easier. In fact, she was subconsciously enjoying herself, a grand smile on her face as they moved. "That's it," he said. "Look at you. You're basically a pro now." Her expression was completely blank after hearing his statement. "Barely." "Okay you're not. But, I can tell you are having fun." "How?" Minhyun smoothly spun her around, before grabbing her waist again. "I can tell By your expressions. You had a beautiful smile on your face." "Not anymore." He let out a heart-stopping smile before bringing her closer to him. "Then I'm going to change that." She raised an eyebrow. "And how are you going to do that?" "By doing this." He let go of her hand and waist, placing his hands on her cheeks instead. She looked so cute with her face slightly scrunched up. He gently placed a kiss on her cheek. Then he did the same for the other. His actions made her feel like she was in heaven. Seeing how his actions weren't related to their image or revenge at all, everything was from his heart. He was taking a large leap in their relationship. "Thank you for coming with me here. I know it was stressful for you to be in such a toxic environment. You were the true star today." A shy smile appeared on her face. Why would he thank her? The reason to why they were doing this was for her sake. If it was anyone, Minhyun should be the one thanked. "Ah no problem. It's nothing really. The real star in my eyes was you. You really helped me with everything." He hummed. "Of course I am." Minhyun released his hands and a mischievous smirk appeared. "Also, I got you. You smiled." Did he... Just... Yoona widened her mouth. To think that he said these words while trying to ploy her into smiling. She didn't know whether to smile or get angry. Yet she couldn't deny that every word that escaped his mouth during that time was his genuine feelings. He just delivered it in this way to avoid any awkwardness and seriousness. Minhyun was really a work of art. Well, she didn't mind smiling. She'll let him win this round. For now.
