For the weeks following the funeral, Yoona carried on with her everyday lifestyle. Just like always, Yoona would go to school and come back home to study. She had expected for his to happen, but it was hard getting through her daily life without Ji-ho's presence. She missed him. A lot. When she would come back from school, he would always be there waiting.

She'd have a companion at home, but now, she was only comforted by silence.

It was worse than she thought.

But luckily, she was able to pull through easier due to Minhyun coming home earlier.

Instead of coming back at eleven o'clock like he usually did, he was coming home at six. How was this happening? Doesn't being the CEO of a company mean that work never stops?

His presence definitely helped her ease back into her regular lifestyle.

When he was back at home, the two of them would watch movies and relax or make dinner together. Sometimes, while she had to study, Minhyun would work beside of her. And due to his genius brain, he helped her with her studies. After all, there was no better business teacher than the CEO of MH.

It didn't completely fill the empty hole that Ji-ho left, but it was enough to keep her happy.

She can do this.

During that time, Minhyun kept Bora Bora a surprise. He could tell that Yoona was having a hard time adjusting to Ji-ho's absence. This was why he wanted for her to push through for now and to be met with a nice vacation after her hard emotional work. It would be a lot more rewarding for her.

Just in case, he double checked Yoona's schedule to make sure she had nothing planned. He even got the driver, Wooyoung, to nonchalantly double check by asking Yoona what she was doing on the weekend.

Everything was going to go perfect.

This was an emotional treat for him as well.

Minhyun's heart, no matter how hard he tried to calm it down, leaped in excitement from just the thought of being with her. After all, this would be their first official vacation alone as a couple.

Who knew what the weekend held?

The image of Yoona in her red bikini crept up in his mind. His cheeks reddened and he tried to cover his face with his hands. Why did that picture appear in his mind all of a sudden. Although there was nobody around him in the office, he couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"Sir, are you sick? Do you need me to bring your personal doctor?"

Minhyun wanted to curse under his breath. He had thought he was alone, but he had forgotten that Secretary Kim was inside as well.

As the superior, this was absolutely humiliating.

Minhyun cleared his throat. "I'm fine. Don't call the doctor."

"Are you sure?" Secretary Kim leaned in. "You're very red."

Minhyun sent him an annoyed glare. "I'm fine!" He snapped.

Secretary Kim jumped back, surprised by his CEO's sudden anger. He thought that Minhyun had become brighter these past few days. He wanted to become closer to his wonderful CEO, but it seemed as though his actions were over-the-line.

He couldn't help but curse at himself in his mind. Why did you do that? Of course Minhyun doesn't want you minding in his business!

"Sorry sir."

"It's fine," Minhyun replied after a sigh. He realized that he needed to control his emotions. Besides, Secretary Kim deserves better. He had realized this now. Ji-ho had helped him learn to open his heart a bit more.

"I'm just quite sensitive right now. Please refrain from actions like that today."

Secretary Kim nodded happily. "Okay!"

---

In the middle of the park, there was two girls sitting on top of a blanket, chatting away. After being separated for a long time, the best friend duo finally decided to meet. While Yoona had been occupied with the Moon group and Ji-ho, Eunha was busy with Lucas's restaurant; it was a miracle that they found a free day to hang out.

When they saw each other, the two girls immediately jumped into each other's embrace. They had so much to talk about!

Yoona had lots to update Eunha about and she didn't hesitate to start her story. Starting from the gala that happened ages ago. During this time, Eunha's eyes were widened as if she was watching a movie. Everything that had happened in Yoona's life couldn't be reality.

Her heart stopped and raced multiple times.

Yoona finally began to wrap up the end of Jaemin's kidnapping incident. This was one of the events Eunha was most curious about, especially since it was all over the news.

"Thankfully, I was saved from Jaemin's grasps and that's why he's in jail. Now you know the whole story in regards to him…"

Eunha stayed silent. She took a deep breath. "My brain is completely fucked up right now. I don't understand anything that his happening. When I heard that Jaemin was in jail for kidnapping and shooting and shit, I thought that you might be involved somehow, but I never knew you were THIS involved. Wow."

"Right?" Yoona said with a chuckle.

"He was a fucking psychopath. If I ever see him, I won't hesitate to mess up that face of his," she hissed. "God. What a freak!"

"Not only that," Eunha said. "But Jaeun saved you?"

Yoona shrugged. "Apparently."

After the kidnapping, Minhyun had told her that Jaeun played a huge part in saving her. Upon hearing this, Yoona tried her best to search for Jaeun to hopefully sort things out and hear her story, especially after finding about what happened with Jihee.

Although Jaeun's actions can never be excused. All the pain that she caused to her victims would never disappear. She was also a victim of Jaemin's manipulation and her family's cruelty. Yoona didn't want to be friends, but she was willing to hear Jaeun's words. Especially knowing that she at least had some humanity left in her.

However, after that day, Jaeun had disappeared from the face of the earth. Nobody knew where she went.

One day, the would met again. Or so she assumed.

"Finally, that bitch did something good," Eunha said under her breath.

Yoona shook her head. "Tell me about it. I was surprised. I thought she hated my guts. I'm glad that she made the right choice in the end."

And with the story of her kidnapping, she couldn't avoid talking about that white-haired boy. As she talked about Ji-ho, it almost felt as if she was reliving what happened again.

By the time she reached Ji-ho's death, while excluding the fact that her and Minhyun were dating [for the sake of Eunha's overwhelmed heart], Eunha was in tears. She was bawling. Her hands covering her eyes.

"Why did God do this to him! So cruel!"

Yoona couldn't help but shake her head. "Right?"

"If this was a story plot, I'd hate the author to the depths of hell!"

A chuckle escaped Yoona's lips. "So over-dramatic."

The tears won't stop falling from Eunha's face. Yoona's heart hurt as well.

But now, she was in a better place than before, especially after talking to her best friend. She really missed this.

"By the way," Eunha said. "So what's happening between you and Minhyun now?"

"Oh us? We're dating."

There was silence, before the chaos that ensued.

Eunha was absolutely livid. "Bitch! You didn't tell me this sooner? Omg I can't believe it!"

"Sorry," she said while scratching the back of her head. "Life just got a bit too hectic."

Eunha shook her head, there was a sad smile on her face. "I can tell. But, since we are best friends, I forgive you."

"I love you." Yoona knew that she had neglected her friendships despite her two friends being there for her at her darkest moments. But this time, since everything was handled, she was going to make it up to them, no matter what.

"I love you too, girl," Eunha replied with an embrace.

Yoona let out a huff. "But don't worry. When I start working at MH with you guys, I'll make sure to make up for the time loss… That reminds me… Why didn't you want me to invite Lucas?"

During their texts, Yoona first invited Eunha with the intention of getting Lucas on board as well. However, the girl was strangely against it.

Eunha crossed her arms. "Oh him? It's because he's become a bossy asshole."

"Really?"

She shrugged. "Let's just say, he's been really stressed with work and everything. He really wants his first restaurant to be absolutely perfect so he puts all his anger on me! But of course, I'm used to it since he was always like that."

"I get that," Yoona said while nodding. Lucas was the type to put all the stress on himself. "He can't be that bad though…"

"He's the worst," Eunha stated.

"Worse than stressed Lucas during busy hours?"

"Ten times worse!"

Yoona let out a whistle. "Good luck then."

"Thanks… But I'm sure that after you come to work with us, he'll be in a better mood… Or maybe not…" Eunha rambled. Realizing, that she was entering a dangerous area with her words, especially since Yoona did not know about Lucas's feelings, she decided to change the topic quickly.

"Oh, and I also told you not to invite him because he said he was going to work on developing the restaurant. I know that if you invited him, he would've dropped everything to come, even his precious recipes. It would've brought more stress to him. I don't want him more cranky than he is."

Yoona cracked a smile. "It's fine. I can't wait to see him later though, at work."

Eunha nodded. "Hell yeah. It's going to be great with the three of us."

After talking about their old memories, Eunha wanted to know more about the relationship between Yoona and Minhyun. After all, Minhyun was their boss and the most sought-out man in Korea. Of course she'd be curious!

"So," she began with a knowing smile. "Have you slept with him yet?"

"No..."

A suspicious smile crept up on Eunha's face. "Good. Let's go shopping!"
