"Hey Yoona, here are the people who we possibly have on board so far," Eunha said. She dropped off a document full of names over onto the desk. Lucas and her had finally finished contacting everyone that they needed to.

Now, what they needed was support to make sure the project had the potential to run smoothly.

Yoona glanced over before nodding. "Okay. This should be adequate enough for a good presentation. We'll be able to get more support once this gets confirmed by the higher ups."

"Sounds good!"

Eunha was about to leave but once she took a step, she immediately stopped in her tracks. She originally came just for work but realized that now might be a good opportunity to talk to her friend. She glanced over at Lucas, who was too busy focusing on something on his computer, before leaning into Yoona's ear. "I know you've noticed."

It took a moment for Yoona to catch onto what Eunha was talking about, but after a few seconds she nodded. "I have."

"He's acting way too different to gloss over this."

"I agree."

"Okay," Eunha said. She grabbed a spare chair and made her way beside Yoona. Her eyes were filled with desperation. "Now that we agree that he's acting weird, do you have any idea why? It's so out of the ordinary and I'm not sure how to handle it!"

Yoona placed her hand over Eunha's mouth. "Shh, he'd be able to hear."

Luckily, Lucas didn't hear and was still focused on his computer. Eunha's cheeks reddened. "Oops."

Yoona analyzed her friend, before letting out a light smile. "It's okay. As long as he doesn't overhear we are good. So - when did you first notice his strange behaviour?"

Eunha thought for a moment with her finger on her chin. "In all honesty, I'm not too sure… What about you?"

"I think it was from the beginning of today."

Eunha's eyes widened. "That he was acting weird?"

"Yup."

She furrowed her eyebrows. Then her eyes lit up once the eureka moment appeared in her head. She turned to face her friend. "That means that something might have happened-"

"While you/I was drunk," they said at the same time. Normally, they would burst into laughter as they were able to say the same thing at the same time, but right now, they were too focused on the actual outcome of their findings.

Everything was a shocker.

Eunha grabbed her hair. "That's crazy, but at the same time it makes sense. You know, I also had my suspicions about that but I decided to ignore it."

She placed her hand over her chest and let out a deep sigh before making eye-contact with Yoona once again. "So what should I do now?"

"Ask him duh," Yoona said. "You want to figure it out right?"

Eunha shook her head. "That's weird oh my God!"

"Is it?" Yoona asked.

"Yeah? What am I supposed to say? Hey, so you're acting weird and so I was wondering if something happened last night? Were you lying when you said nothing happened?"

Yoona giggled. "Yeah. Say those exact words."

"But-," Eunha said. Once she realized that her tone was raising a bit too loudly for comfort, she whispered her next words. "It's still weird!"

Yoona placed her hand on Eunha's shoulders. "It's better to be straightforward."

Eunha pouted, not believing in her friend's words. However, after seeing the serious expression on Yoona's face, she nodded.

"Okay. I'll try."

---

Originally, Eunha had no thought about confronting Lucas. It was weird. She'd rather just let this pass and ignore everything that happened today. After all, eventually everything would go back to normal.

However, after talking with Yoona, it felt like she had to.

Plus, the curiosity was eating her.

How would he reply? She was scared of what was to come.

It was clear that something had happened, but what the hell could've happened for him to be this different. No matter how much she pondered about the situation, she couldn't think of an answer.

Throughout the whole day, she eyed the blonde-haired boy while avoiding her gaze everytime he looked her way. Her heart beat so fast every time she was almost caught.

Has he noticed that she was also acting weird?

She hoped not.

---

Once their work day was finished, Yoona was the first to pack her things. She glanced over at Eunha and mouthed 'good luck'.

Eunha stared at her with nervousness before nodding.

She can do this.

After giving herself a mental cheer, she walked towards Lucas. While he was packing his bags, she tapped on his shoulder.

He looked up. "What is it?"

She let out a nervous laugh. "Let's talk."

Lucas cocked his head, confused to why she wanted to speak more to him. It wasn't like they hung out much in their spare time. Today was even pushing the line. Nonetheless, he nodded.

There was something wrong. What could it be?

He wasn't stupid enough not to notice. Eunha was definitely acting suspicious right now.

"Give me a minute," he answered. "Do you want to talk here or outside."

Eunha looked around. Everyone was leaving or had already left the office. Nobody would be able to overhear their conversation. Since it was after work hours, she knew that there would be more people outside.

"Here is fine," she said.

Lucas nodded and finished packing all his things. Then, he placed his palm against his desk and leaned against his arm. "So what do you want to say to me?"

She took a deep breath. Okay. She can do this.

"Did something happen to us yesterday while I was drunk?"

Lucas blinked. So that's what she was worrying about. Did he, perhaps act too out of the ordinary? Normally, he was good at catching onto whether or not someone's actions were off, but when it came to himself, it was different.

Everything made sense. He was able to figure out what she was thinking about instantly.

"So my actions are really different," he commented.

Eunha nodded. "Yeah! Exactly!"

She was glad that she didn't need to explain everything to him. Good thing Lucas was smart.

Then there was a pause.

"So," she said nervously. "What happened."

Lucas decided that since his change of attitude was too obvious, that letting her know would be the best move to make. He knew that this would indefinitely change their relationship forever. There was no going back. But he was always the straightforward type.

Plus, he was curious to what her reaction would be.

"You really want to know?"

"Yeah," she said in a high-pitched voice.

He leaned forward, whispering in her ear. "You kissed me."

A gasp escaped her lips as she stared into his eyes.

She waited until he would say that he was joking. That this was all an elaborate attempt to fool her.

A few moments passed.

And that was when reality sunk in.

"I'm so sorry!" She shrieked. How could she have done that? Never in her life was she going to get drunk again. This was insane. "I'm such a crazy bitch!"

She couldn't even imagine how mad he would've been after she kissed him. The wrath that would radiate from her body. Even thinking about it scared the living daylights out of her… But wait…. Lucas didn't look mad at all. In fact, today he acted a lot nicer to her.

But why?

She looked up and without realizing, voiced out her thoughts. "I wish I remembered what happened."

That would make the situation a lot easier to understand from her perspective. Maybe the kiss wasn't the only thing that happened.

Lucas, suddenly feeling a surge of emotion filled his chest glanced down at her lips. "Do you want me to help you remember?"

"Wha-"

And before she could take another breath, his lips came crashing down on hers.
