Last night, Yoona was going to tell Eunha and Lucas about the incident involving Jaeun and the flour. However, due to her embarrassment, she didn't utter a word. Nobody would brag about being humiliated in front of their class.

Since the ten thousand dollar tip incident happened, the story also dulled in comparison to Yoona's eyes anyways. The money completely reversed her personality. There was no need to linger on the bad. Throughout the day, all she was thinking about was what to gift her mother and friends as a thank you present. They've gone through a lot for her.

Now, she regretted not telling her friends.

If anything would go wrong, it would be a larger surprise to them in comparison to if she told them earlier about the flour incident. At least they would've expected the bullying to be this brutal.

Yoona watched as Jaeun greeted the manager of the restaurant. An innocent smile lingered on the devil's face, hiding her cunning personality. Yoona felt disgusted for not noticing everything sooner. The small details in Jaeun's actions were clear red flags to true self.

As the gossip-girl Eunha was, the short-haired girl instantly recognized who the new owner was and struggled to contain her shock. She quickly glanced over at Yoona with a scared expression on her face.

They both knew Jaeun was rich, but who would've thought she would invest actual money to try to ruin Yoona's life. How obsessive was this woman? What has Yoona even done! This crossed the line of regular bullying to a whole nother level of terror.

Unlike Yoona who was able to hid her distaste well, Eunha was a different story. She was an open book. All the other workers could notice her expression except for the guests. They wondered what was wrong.

Millions of thoughts whizzed through Yoona's brain. In this situation what should she do? In all honesty, with the ten thousand dollar tip she had gotten, she could technically quit at this instance. There was no harm in leaving.

In fact, wouldn't that be the best method of handling the situation? Then there would've been no point in Jaeun spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on Bianchi. It was a perfect plan.

The problem was her next workplace. Would Jaeun follow her everywhere? If she were to work somewhere else, there was also a chance of Jaeun following her there and potentially getting her fired. Anything was possible.

Plus, Lucas and Eunha worked at Bianchi too. If she were to leave, there was a chance that they would suffer the consequences. After all, it wasn't like the two were rich either, both were working to survive. Jaeun could easily find out that they were friends from the other employees. There was no limits to her evil.

Yoona would have to observe the situation further to make her decision.

She took a deep breath. She just wanted to get through this day without any troubles. Although that would never happen.

Unlike Eunha, Lucas did not recognize Jaeun and stood there like a statue, unwavered by her beauty. He didn't really care for the new owner and wanted to get this whole situation over and done with. Due to his travels, he'd seen plenty of pretty women. He wasn't phased.

When he laid eyes on Eunha's face however, his expression quickly darkened.

He noticed something was wrong.

"Everyone," the manager announced to gather everyone's attention. His mustache was perfectly curled. "I want to introduce a very special someone to our staff."

He gestured towards Jaeun with a smile. "I am honored to present our new owner from the exclusive Moon group, Jaeun Moon. She has decided to buy our restaurant and will be a very important figure to us from now on."

She let out a giggle. "Thank you so much. I hope to have a great time with everyone here."

When Lucas heard Jaeun's name, he immediately let out an aura of animosity. He didn't bother to clap after her speech. Instead, he contained himself from saying any rude remarks to the girl.

He couldn't believe that she-devil was here.

While the trio recognized Jaeun, the groupies also recognized Yoona. They whispered in each others ear. Every one of them bore a smug look, as if they had something special planned for today.

Yoona gripped her skirt, controlling her anger.

As the new owner, Jaeun proceeded to walk around, shaking hands with all the workers in the room. First, she started with the superiors, then the chefs, the waitresses, and then the cleaners. When she reached Lucas, he didn't bother to shake her hand, instead, he stared at her coldly. Not reciprocating her welcoming words.

At first, Jaeun was taken aback while the manager scowled in the background.

But she quickly brushed his actions off, saying that it was fine because Lucas was cute, before moving onto the next person. A surprise considering her terrible personality.

Yoona was in shock by Lucas's actions. Did he want to die?

She always knew that Lucas did whatever he wanted to, not caring about how other's perceived him, but this was an extreme. Was he really sacrificing his job for her?

Yoona stared at him, giving him an eyebrow, but he just shrugged in return.

Personally, Lucas would rather lose his job and do what's right than to stay as a bystander. He wasn't going to act fake to protect himself while his friend was suffering. It was not write. Plus, he was going to switch restaurants in the future anyways. He couldn't handle making the same food for too long. He always needed a change in his art. If he were to get fired today, he wouldn't mind at all.

Yoona's heart felt warm.

When it was time for Yoona and Jaeun to shake hands, she could feel Jaeun's nails dig into her palm, almost drawing blood. Despite the pain, she continued to smile as if nothing was wrong, only pissing off the devil more. She wasn't going to lose. Especially, not after Lucas's actions. He inspired her.

The biggest surprise out of the three was Eunha who happily shook Jaeun's hand. A big smile was sitting on her face.

Yoona couldn't help but shake her head giggling. Eunha was trying to conceal her hate with joy, but it was clear, she was acting way too cheerful. Almost as if she was greeting a little child.

Perhaps tonight won't be so bad. For once, she had people by her side.
