The next day, Yoona found herself in class. Currently, she was in economics, the topic revolving around depth analysis of real life economic issues. Since this subject was one that came easier to her, she was able to understand all the concepts taught during the lesson.

Plus, as the professor was great at teaching, everyone was able to understand the subject easier. This was why Monday's particular economics class had the fullest lecture hall out of all the other classes at her university.

However, there was one face that was nowhere to be seen.

Just like she expected, Jaeun had decided to skip class. With rashes and imperfections on her face, Yoona knew that there was no way Jaeun would let anyone see her in public. She cared about her image too much.

Yoona giggled. Although her little 'revenge' wasn't very exciting, it still made her feel great. Attacking someone at that level was beyond her comfort zone, but seeing the repercussions made her feel kinda proud. If you mess with Yoona and her friends, you were in for a treat.

Plus, without Jaeun for the week, she would be able to attend school comfortably. There would be no troubles to arise for the next five days. Or so she hoped anyways. There was the off-chance that perhaps, Jaeun could send someone else to do her bidding but Yoona doubted that this would be the case. After all, this time, she had Minhyun protecting her back.

It was a fact MH was more powerful than the Moon group.

Despite her current odd relationship with Minhyun, the man offered her more protection than she needed. From what she could see, his threat was more than enough to make Jaeun back down for a while. She looked frightened when Minhyun sent her that harsh look back at the restaurant.

Today was a great day.

An interesting thing Yoona noticed about Jaeun's absence was that the students were acting different. Since the tyrant wasn't in the room, most students didn't move away when she came near. Although none of them talked to her, not even asking if she was okay, they didn't treat her like plague like last time. That was all that mattered.

In the end, she had friends who had her back. When it came to school, all she needed to do was study and get her degree. All other purpose of university had dissipated.

After the lecture, Yoona packed up her things and began to walk down the stairs to exit. She had to get out quickly to keep the chosen time to meet Minhyun. While making her way to the entrance, she checked her phone to see if Minhyun had texted her.

Sure enough, he did. The text said that he was in the parking lot, waiting for her arrival.

There wasn't much information about his whereabouts or how to identify him. All he said was that she wouldn't be able to miss him. For the car he brought was quite the looker.

From past experiences with Jaemin, standing out wasn't Yoona's favorite thing to do. She felt uncomfortable when Jaemin brought his colorful cars for she preferred staying low. Flaunting wealth that she did not have, made her feel weird on the inside. However, this time, she was actually fine with getting into the fancy car with Minhyun. In fact, she preferred if the car was as flashy as possible.

Although Jaeun got her rashes, Jaemin suffered no repercussions. He was living his life quietly without her. By manipulating and tricking her to fall in love with him, he also did as much bad as Jaeun. He was her first love and the first boy she gave her all too. The pain of seeing him act like she was nothing was almost unbearable.

Therefore, as a little payback, she wanted to show that she was able to live happily without him. By going into Minhyun's car, she would be able to show that he wasn't the only wealthy person in her life but that could do much better than him.

Jaemin Moon cared about superficial aspects such as money and looks. Minhyun was someone who won over him in both aspects.

Although she wasn't sure if he would be there at the scene, she knew he would hear about it through gossip sooner or later.

However, there was a good chance he'd see since his class ended near the same time and his building was right beside the entrance. On many days, they would meet together after her class to hang out. She hoped that he would be able to see the scene, and to see what type of expression he would make on his face.

She figured this all out during her ride this morning to university.

The walk to the entrance usually took around ten minutes as her university campus was quite large. She trudged her way past the other students. Trees, buildings, and small fields, surrounded her as she walked down the cemented path. Usually, she took the time to observe her surroundings but today she wanted to get to Minhyun as quick as possible. He was already there.

Just then, a group of giddily girls ran towards her destination.

"Let's go! We're going to miss him if we're late."

"I've heard father talk all about him. He's someone I would totally want as a suitor."

"I can't believe Chae Minhyun is here."

Recognizing the name of her childhood friend, she quickly whipped her head to focus on owner of those voices.

From what she can tell, the girls were wearing very fashionable outfits and were part of the high class part of the student body. After seeing their physical traits, she could tell that they would be the type of people who would know who Minhyun was. Everyone in the rich circle did.

Although she knew that Minhyun made a name for himself, she was still not used to people treating him almost like a celebrity. Hearing them say his name and rushing to see his face, made Yoona see the difference between them further.

She looked down at her wrist watch. Right now, it was around four two. There was two minutes to go.

She quickly scurried her way down. When she reached the parking lot, she saw a scene that she did not expect.

Surrounded by a small crowd and in the center of attention of multiple passerby students was Minhyun, leaned against his car. To hide part of his face, he wore a pair of shades which matched with his usual black business attire. From what she could see, the car behind of him was a black sports car with red accents. The sleek design was so clean that the sunlight made the cover glisten like diamonds.

She was very taken aback to see this scene. Yoona didn't expect Minhyun to grab this much attention.

He was sticking out like a thumb, and one thing Yoona knew for sure from Minhyun's childhood was that the boy hated being in the center of attention. Although Minhyun did step in and save the day in front of her restaurant, from talking to him afterwards in the private dinner, she knew he was still a private person.

So what was he doing being all flashy? Could he have thought the same as she did? To mock of the Moon siblings in a very simple manner?

If he did go out of his comfort zone to help her, then she was eternally grateful. The Moon siblings were definitely going to hear about this.

To alert him that she had arrived, Yoona waved her hands high up in the air, above the heads of the crowd surrounding him.

The group of people trying to talk to him mainly consisted of rich students who knew about Chae Minhyun. They all came with the goal to become friendly with him. Having this rare connection would give them many future benefits.

Of course, Minhyun did not pay attention to them. He was used to people who only strove to speak to him for the sake of power.

When he saw Yoona, he let out a smile.

For a man rumored to be ice-cold, they were shocked to see him so happy. Who could be the reason for this change of character?

They all turned their heads to see him walking towards Yoona.

"Wow, very flashy," Yoona commented. She eyed him up and down before looking back at his car.

"Yeah, not my usual style but i'll explain everything in the car," he replied with an uncomfortable laugh.

From his words, she confirmed that Minhyun had definitely gone out of his shell for the sake of making Jaemin angry. He didn't need to explain it. Even from his body language, she could tell that this entrance wasn't his style and he wanted to quickly hide in his car. Well done.

"Sure," she said giddily. "Let us go then? I don't think we should stay here any longer seeing that your fans are all over."

Minhyun let out a chuckle. "Yes, let's leave."

Everyone watched the two as they made their way into the fancy car with shock. A series of question rang through their heads. Wasn't Yoona Jaeun's greatest enemy? Then why was she acquainted with such a powerful man? Many of them took out there phones and began to share the news. Some, directly to Jaeun, asking where she was while this juicy event was happening!

When they reached the front, Minhyun opened the passenger seat door to politely let Yoona in. She thanked him before ducking her head to go inside. Shortly after, Minhyun made his way to the driver's seat.

Seeing the student body act so frantically, made her question the sanity of the students. Was there really a point prying into someone else's life? She let out a sigh. Ridiculous.

Well, there actions would ultimately help the Moon Siblings find out about the matter so she couldn't stay completely mad at it.

While putting on her seat belts, Yoona noticed an interesting sight. Near the entrance, just beside the decorative pillars of her campus, stood a brown-haired man. Due to her familiarity with him, she could automatically tell who it was. The person watching them leave was no other than her ex-boyfriend Jaemin. Just like she expected, he was present as the scene unraveled before him.

Score! Just like how she wanted, he was seeing everything with his own eyes. Now, he knew that without him, she could live life just as happily.

However, although she wanted to celebrate this happy moment, there was one thing that made her uneasy.

The strange, twisted expression on his face made her want to hide. By showing off her newfound friend, she was trying to show that she could live well off without him. To make him feel regret and hurt.

Yet, the expression on his face did not mirror any of what she expected. What she saw in his contorted on his face was pure hatred and jealousy. The most negative expressions she had ever seen displayed through him.

She knew that Jaemin was not the man who she thought he was. The one year they spent together was all fake. But she still knew him to an extent. He couldn't have hid every real aspect about him. Yet, the person she saw through the dark-tinted windows was completely different from the boy she once knew.

Shivers crept down her spine.

Was her eyes playing games?

Or was this his true colors?

It seemed like all the truths she once believed in were turning into lies.
