Silence engulfed the Royal hall and no one dared to utter any noise. Everyone was looking at Fu Yan who's eyes were turning to their normal color as time passed.
When everyone was looking at Fu Yan, Mourin suddenly let out a cry.
"Father!" He broke free from guards and ran towards where blue dust was still falling. He tried to gather the dust in his hands and not let it scatter, but suddenly the wind blew in the Royal Hall and all dust scattered away.
Mourin looked at the scattering dust and suddenly stood up. He looked towards Fu Yan with eyes full of anger and hate.
"I will kill you. I will KILL you. If I ever got the chance, I am going to kill you." He knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything to Fu Yan right now because he did not have any weapons, and since Fu Yan could kill his father without even batting an eye, he did not place any people here in his eyes, no even the Queen. So all he could do was threaten.
Fu Yan who's eyes were turning to normal, once again glowed with golden light and another beam shot out from the book on his chest.
When the beam landed on Mourin, he looked at Fu Yan with horrid eyes and then dissipated into dust.
"Threatening a Librarian! Why did you think you could live after that?" A deep and magnetic voice sounded in the Hall again.
This time no one dared to utter any sound. They all looked at Fu Yan as if they were looking at a monster.
Fu Yan looked around with his still gold shining eyes and then sat down on the chair. He closed his eyes and leaned back on the chair.
During the whole time, no one in the Royal Hall dared to make any kind of noise. They even deliberately tried to control their breathing sound.
After a while, Fu Yan opened his eyes and then looked around again. His gaze landed on the dust that was slowly dissipating and then he looked at the horrified expressions on the faces of everyone present in the Hall.
"I killed again. Why did I suddenly blank out? Was I controlled by the Library again? But I could still react when it happened before but this time it was as if someone took me over or was it just that my emotions went out of control and I lost control over the body to my instincts?" He sighed as he pondered the problem.
Though he was perplexed about suddenly losing control over his body, he did not show any of it on his face and maintained a cold and aloof expression.
After seeing that no one was saying anything and every person in the Hall was looking at him, Fu Yan turned towards Queen Yinsys.
"So what can you offer me as compensation? You did not return the book before the due date. So according to rules, I have to get something as compensation so WHAT CAN YOU OFFER?"
He acted as if nothing had happened and continued where they left off.
Yinsys did not say anything and just continued to look at Fu Yan with dazed eyes. Fu Yan let out a slight cough seeing this and tried to get her attention.
"Uh… Yes Yes. Compensation. The compensation, I think I have it ready." Queen had completely lost her composure after witnessing the last scene and was still not out of shock. She hurriedly shifted her gaze away from Fu Yan and looked towards one of the men who was standing just beneath the throne.
"Go and get the things I told you about earlier, also get the data about it and related material about its working and production. Hurry!"
Then she turned towards Fu Yan and after steadying her breath, she said in a very polite and trembling tone.
"Respected Sir, please wait for a moment. My men will immediately get the things you need. I beg sir to forgive me for my tardiness. Also, I want to thank sir for getting rid of those two as they were always up to no good. Sir has helped me a lot by getting rid of them. I don't know how I can repay you." She was clearly trying to imply that she did not care about the two whom Fu Yan killed and was even saying that Fu Yan had helped her so that she could be in the lower position and indicate that she was indebted to him.
Fu Yan just gave a slight nod and then closed his eyes. He was still thinking about the time when he lost control over his body and blanked out.
Now that he was focusing, he started to remember what had happened and memories started to emerge in his mind. The whole scene of him killing the father and son played in his mind and from that Fu Yan deduced that it's not that someone controlled his body, it's just that the emotions he felt when that elder tried to do something to the child broke out and his body acted on impulse.
"From all this, It's clear that being a Librarian is amplifying my emotions. So is this the Library's way of teaching me to not suppress my emotions? Is this how I become a better Librarian?"
Fu Yan pondered over this question for a while and then suddenly opened his eyes.
"Well, let the time decide that. For now, I will let Qing continue to observe my condition. So that I can have better data to assess my situation."
Just when he was thinking about all this, the door of the royal hall opened again and two men came in carrying a glass box and behind them, there was another man who looked like a scientist. He was carrying a stack of documents.
All three of them walked towards the throne and then bowed. The scientist guy came forward and said hastily,
"My Queen, these are the documents regarding the production of the Neuro Worm."
Queen Yinsys looked at the elderly scientist and said in a polite tone.
"Elder, you did not have to come here yourself. I know you are busy and your health is also not good."
The elderly scientist shook his head.
"I understand that Queen worries for me but if not for the importance of these documents, I would not have left the lab but I was afraid that if any one of these documents were to be misplaced or lost, it will be a great loss. So I had to come here myself."
Then he shifted his attention towards Fu Yan and asked in a soft voice.
"My Queen, this gentleman is?"
Yinsys looked at Fu Yan after hearing this, fearing that it would make Fu Yan angry but seeing that Fu Yan did not care and had a neutral face, she let out a sigh.
"Elder, Sir has come to get the book back that was lent to us 100 years ago."
Then she turned towards Fu Yan and said in a polite tone.
"Elder Foran is the one who studied this book and built this mother tree for us. He is the leading man and savior of our races on this planet."
When he heard this, Fu Yan looked at this man with great interest. Because he knew that even if there was knowledge, it was very hard to put it to practical use. As great minds were needed for all this knowledge to be understandable. Also, he noticed that this tree was not just built by following the technology in this book, but also combining other technologies with it so from this he could see that this elder in front of him was a great genius and a man worth recruiting.
"Elder Foran, Would you like to leave this planet and come with me?"
Fu Yan asked in a calm and polite tone which surprised everyone. Because this was the first time Fu Yan ever talked to someone in this tone ever since he came here. Even Queen Yinsys could not help but look at Fu Yan with a shocked expression on her face.
