"Yes, I am alright. You gave me a fright you know."
When Fu Yan said this, Qing went silent again which scared him. He quickly typed on the keyboard and saw that everything was normal except the little spike in power consumption and server load.
"Qing are you all right?" He asked with a worrying tone.
He was wondering if the previous loop error caused some glitch in Qing's logic program. While he was thinking this, Qing's voice sounded in the room.
"Big Brother! I searched all my databases and tried to find the reference on the internet but I am unable to understand what you meant by fright."
Fu Yan sighed when he heard this. He had forgotten that Qing was just an AI who was still in the developing stage, not a real person.
He had taken Qing for granted and never thought much about her being an AI. He interacted with her as if she was his secretary and a real person.
"Don't worry, Qing. It does not matter if you are not able to understand it. Take your time and slowly build your database. You have my permission to lower the protection on internet surfing from level 5 to level 3."
When he created Qing and allowed her to access the internet, he added level protection to her surfing on the internet.
There were many reasons for doing so.
First was that since she was in the initial stage of learning and her logic program was not that much developed so he was afraid that her database would be corrupted with illogical things.
To avoid such circumstances, he added 6 levels restrictions on her, with level 6 being the highest and level 1 being the lowest.
On level 6, she could access the forums and platforms which were reviewed by Fu Yan first and ensured that they were safe to access.
After a week of initial training and building her logic program to the point that Qing was able to tell right from the wrong and After he updated her program, Fu Yan reduced the restriction to level 5 which allowed Qing to access many program-related forums and with Fu Yan's permission she could access some other materials too.
He gave her access to some hacking forums too so that she could build her database regarding different forms of hacking and could help him in the future if he needed, which proved to be useful later.
All in all, with level 3 all Qing was allowed to access is the positive side of humanity. She could surf the internet but all data regarding politics, fighting, terrorism, talks about humanity being evil, etc were censored and deleted from her database.
It was not that he was a saint or something. It's just that he felt the need for this because he wanted Qing to be perfect AI, not something like in movies where an AI turns against humanity and wipes them out.
He had plans for the future and did not want the world to perish just yet. Even though the path that the people on earth were following leads to the destruction. He wanted to enjoy the new power that was given to him by the Library. He also had relatives too, who cared for him and loved him.
Another reason was that he wanted his creation to be able to develop her own logic and not to be influenced by idiotic talks from some brain-fused people.
When he told Qing to reduce the access to level 3, the binary code wall appeared on screen and it remained there for 3 minutes. Fu Yan waited patiently for Qing to finish the process.
During which he needed to give his confirmation 4 times and type a complex password to remove the restriction.
One could only say that movies related to an AI destroying the world had a very strong effect on Fu Yan which resulted in extremely strong security.
After 3 minutes of waiting and giving permission, Qing's voice sounded again.
"Big Brother! The restriction level has been adjusted to 3. I will need 7 days and 15 hours to readjust my database. During this time, I will have to use 60% of the processing power. Please confirm!"
Fu Yan thought for a while and then nodded.
"Ok! Update your database. I will see if the server farm can be expanded in the meanwhile."
After finishing up the work on his end, Fu Yan called Fei Hing and told her that the problem was fixed and the game's normal operation could be resumed soon. He also told her about expanding the server farm.
"I have fixed the problem and the game can be launched. Also, I need you to expand the server farm. If the budget is big enough, expand it to twice the current size. If the current location is not enough, start building a new one. Our operation will be expanding a lot, soon, and we will need all the computing power we can get. Also, I will send you a draft of an announcement in your email. Check it and release it on the website tomorrow."

Many started to speculate about what this new announcement meant and if it was true then how it was different from others.
