Fu Yan sent the draft of the notice to Fei Hong and started to work on the translation software which he had finished before going to "Pheonon".

He just wanted to make sure that it worked fine. He knew that when this was going to be released in the market, it would make many tech giants lose their sleep.

There were many kinds of translation software the most prominent was Google's. But it was still far from perfect. It was best when it came to translating short sentences but when it came to long sentences or those with metaphoric meaning, it is less effective.

The problem was not that Google could not build a system to understand such sentences and explain them but rather it was too expensive and they were not fully focused on this and even if they built one, it would not be able to provide a real-time translation.

If they wanted to build one, they needed an intelligent system that should be able to understand what these sentences meant and translate them into meaningful sentences in the language required without losing the actual meaning of such a sentence.

This required them to build a whole new database of different languages and train the system to understand what these sentences were and how to translate them, which would result in huge operational costs and low return rates and the world was not in that much of a need for this kind of software either.

The top reason for not building such a system was that there was no competition for them in the market and they were well ahead of others. By the time other companies could catch up to them, they would have already gone ahead of them and if some new startup managed to build something which they deemed that could threaten them in the future then they would just buy it and kill the competition.

It was not just Google that was following this practice, many internet giants were like this. The most famous example of this is in country C. Where the penguin giant had killed many startups and copied many creative games which forced the original creators to sell their games to the giant at a low price.

They ruined many games with a similar practice. Which earned them the name of the copy giant. They not only ruined the potential games but also some good Softwares tools too.

If Fu Yan did not have the Library and had not known about how to build a good AI, he might have had to follow the same path, but now with the help of Qing and the knowledge from the Library, he was able to follow a different route.

If the current technology giants were said to be walking on a properly built road then Fu Yan is running on that road even sometimes gliding in between and soon he will be able to fly above that road after he has built a strong foundation.

Fu Yan knew that he can't show his cards without a foundation and if he did so, he would be eaten alive. He also knew about the infamous practice of country C's government who would force tech giants in the country to hand over their technologies to them. It was not just them, many governments around the world do that. They want tight control over the technologies developed in their country and if possible want to create a monopoly on them. They use the term IP (intellectual property) for this and create patents and sometimes some underhand means too.

He is not against IP as it's a good practice that is favorable for the researchers and helps them earn money which they use in their future research. But when these patent laws are used wrongly, he is against them. He understood that if one's research is used in public and is being used to earn money then they are obliged to pay fees since creators should also get benefits but when this practice is used to kill potential newcomers who have many good ideas and want to benefit humanity with them, these IPs become evil.

He understood all this but he was still forced to use this evil practice to protect himself and the future of his company.

Fu Yan had researched a lot before opening up a company and knew about the tactics of government so that's why he asked Fei Hong to register offshore companies and make them the owner of all the technologies that he would develop.

His local company would only be licensed to use these technologies. If the government wanted to force them to hand over these technologies, they could just show them the licenses and tell them that since the technologies aren't owned by them, they can't hand them over to the government. This way even the country's laws would not apply to them and if they were forced too much, they could just migrate the company from Country C.

This showed that his decision for creating a company was not an impulsive one and that he had a strong vision.

Fu Yan dreamt that when he was strong enough and had a powerful business empire, which he would have, then he would allow the fair use of all his technologies.

7 days passed in a blink and the time for the launch of the translation software came near. The gamer community of "Adventures in Raeclasia" was very hyped.

Many read the official announcement again to confirm. The announcement in itself was pretty simple.

"We are sorry for the disturbance but it won't happen again. This blackout occurred because of new features being introduced in the game which resulted in a huge load on servers. This problem has been fixed and new servers have been added. With this new feature, Gamers from different regions will be able to cross chat with each other without a language barrier. Please look forward to this update. Time remaining: 8 hours 31 minutes." A countdown could be seen at the end of the announcement.

Though this looked simple, it had a very strong message. It was like the game company was saying.

"Want to criticize us? Well, you can't. We are working on something big and it will be revealed soon. Tell us about your thoughts after checking this update."

Not only were the players from "Adventures in Raeclasia" hyped about it, but the players from other games were also talking about this. Even some other companies were staring at it.

Some had doubts, saying "since top companies were not able to do realtime translation then how could a small company which only came into existence a while ago be able to do this?"

Some were extremely supportive, stating that since this company was able to create a game that no one was able to create before then they will be able to pull this off too.

While both sides were in a heated discussion, the time for the release came near with only 1 minute remaining.
