THAT TRAITOROUS IDIOT!

I focused my prana to repair my goddess robe. Freyr also used his <Merlin's Garden> to gather nature energy around in order for me to muster all the power needed. And now, my white dress had these orange flames glowing brighter than ever before.

Helena is on her knees, giving us a deadly stare of hatred. She used her sword to stand up on her feet. Then she looked at her chest which has been tethered with four golden <God Chains>.

"These damn chains… Haaaah!"

Helena tried breaking the chains with her sword and her mechanical arm, but her attacks passed through as if the shackles on her heart are just holograms. She tried to struggle, but her movements have been completely sealed. As long as those <God Chains> are actively being supplied by the four goddesses, she won't be able to go away from her position.

"You four idiots!!!" Helena shouted. "You'll pay for this!"

The mad swordswoman materialized a snowball on her hand and charged it with divine electricity.

"<Snowbolt>!!!" She shouted as she threw the projectile to Key with full power!

In the nick of time, Key commanded her shield-drone to block the attack. The only problem is that it bounced and chased the other goddesses as if the lightning snowball is conscient. It rushed to Asumi-nee's face, bounced to Emily's boobs, then to Eliseo's nuts, and finally to Key's stomach.

A lightning streak connected the four goddesses which made them suffer tremendous electric shock!

"Kyaaaaaah!!!" The four goddesses shouted.

They suffered no considerable damage, but the electric effect paralyzed their nerves. Using that opportunity, Helena jumped back, dragging the helpless goddesses.

"<Stardusk Slash>!!!" The Kozukata Shrine priest came back to the scene with a surprising blinding attack!

A loud clang echoed.

Helena barely blocked the black sword of Atlas using her broadsword and instinct. When she saw the opening after Atlas' assault, she used her robot arm to make an uppercut smash straight to the priest's stomach, which made him fly.

"<Snowflake Shuriken Riot>!!!" Freyr continuously launched icy ninja stars to the enemy, but Helena managed to tumble and evade all those projectiles. It's amazing that she's still extremely agile even if she's dragging four paralyzed bodies with her.

But this will end now!

Everything that Atlas and Freyr made, it was all just a distraction! The real attack is always on me! While she's busy evading the attacks, I'm sneaking from her blind spot!

"<Void Art: God Core Assimilation>!!!"

"Wha-!!!"

The moment she turned her back, it was already too late for her. My right hand grabbed her chest and snatched the God Core of Neptune from her heart. Before she could react, I made two swift hooks on her kidneys, making her launch into the air.

"Rikkun!" I immediately passed the icy blue orb to the blonde prince.

The God of Kings plugged the God Core to the <Heart of Light>. "God Core of Neptune, installed!" He shouted. Then, he focused his prana on his next attack, leaping towards the enemy!

But Helena is ready for it! She raised her body, charged her sword with electricity with all her prana left! She's aiming for Rikkun's heart!

"<Lightning Pierce>!!!" Helena made an electrifying stab!

"<Heart of Light - Cryophantasma>!!!"

A magical circle that contains the sigil of a snowflake emerged on Helena's face. That circle exploded, completely canceling the spell she was about to cast.

"Kah!"

Suddenly, Helena's whole body was enveloped by frostbiting ice. Her limbs are completely fused with the chilling clear crystal. Now she's completely immobile, there is no way she can block or evade the next attack.

Swoosh.

There was one swift slash, leaving a blue streak in the air! The force of the impact shattered the ice that used to bind Helena! It's not the full force of the attack, but it's enough to knock anyone out. Rikkun held back the powers of the <Heart of Light> so that she won't be killed.

Using the ultimate powers of <Heart of Light> drains a lot of energy, so Freyr has now devolved to plain yet gallant Rikkun.

"Gah!" Helena cried as she was blown off again.

"Tiara!" Rikkun shouted, signaling my last role in this fight. "<Aether Switch>!!!

"Right!"

As soon as I swapped positions with Rikkun, my finishing attack is ready. "<God Core Assimilation>!!!"

Once the God Core of Zeus is removed, the battle will be over. The <God Chains> already cast unto her will deplete her energy if she's no longer relying on an active God Core.

So we are all counting on my final attack!

But then...

Clang! Something metallic collided with my gauntlet.

"Huh!?"

It's a buster sword that blocked my last assault! That was so uncalled for! I immediately jumped back to assess the situation. Helena already dropped her sword a while back when Rikkun attacked her. There's no sign that Helena used her robotic arm to transform into a sword.

Somebody defended her at the very right moment.

The one who interrupted our winning fight….

"M-Mister Heushac!" I cried.

"Heushac!' Everybody else shouted.

Yes. In front of Helena is her baby brother, Heushac. For some reason, he's dressed in a tattered black cloak. Combined with his unwashed clothes, he really looks like a hermit hobo right now.

But more importantly… Why did he prevent my final attack!? It's for Helena's own good! We should have finished her, and yet he...

"I won't let you defeat my sister!" Heushac proclaimed as he swung his broadsword left and right. His gaze is telling us that he's going to behead anyone who will try to get close to his sister.

"Heushac, you traitor!" Rikkun shouted with anger. "I knew you're plotting something rotten!"

"M-Mister Heushac…." I held my aching chest. I can't believe he's neglecting what's right and decided to side with his sister. I thought he's going to help us.

"B-Baby brother…" Helena muttered weakly.

Heushac turned around and made a smile to his sister. "I'm not a baby anymore, sis. I can decide on my own now. I told you, I'm going to be stronger just to protect you too. And now… I think I'm strong enough."

"Heushac!!!" Aether Crusade members are protesting on the background. But he seems to ignore those shouts. He gave out a bold word that made us all surprised instead.

"Big sis Helena… I'll set you free."

The moment we heard those words, our eyebrows curled. We gripped hard on our weapons, ready for another bloody battle.

We all thought Heushac is already a lost cause, until-

"I'll set you free with one condition." Heushac continued. "Fight me with your full power just like last time after the Gate Guardians Tournament."

Everybody was silent.

Everybody knows that Heushac is an idiot. But we were surprised that he's way beyond that level of idiocy.

For some reason, I understand him. Not because I'm an idiot too, but because I feel honor and respect between brothers and sisters. I have felt the same way to my twin brother Diadem. I always wanted to discipline my sibling who had lost his way. It's our responsibility as humans who have the same blood running through our veins to confront our past and settle our differences.

"The rules of the fight is this." Heushac continued, completely ignoring all the troubled look directed to him. "Big sis, you can pick three God Cores from your original seven. Then I'll fight you all out."

"That's ridiculous!" Helena weakly chuckled. "Last time we fought with three of my God Cores, I almost gouged out your left lung. There's no way you can defeat me with threefold divinity-"

"I told you, big sis. I'm stronger now." Heushac made a safe smile. Then our proud hobo swordsman turned to us. "I know you guys are objecting, but I have to do this. I want this fight to be between us two only. If she managed to kill me, let her free."

"Heushac, you freaking moron! Wasting all our efforts just for this selfish thing!" Rikkun cried.

Heushac laughed and made an innocent smile towards us. "Ric, I'm really sorry. Just let me be just this once."

"You're always doing what you want, rascal," Rikkun said.

I held my boyfriend's hand to calm him down. Feeling the warmth of my palms, Rikkun had a glimpse of a peaceful mind. He made a heavy sigh as he made his decision.

"Fine. I'll approve your rematch." Rikkun smiled. "Heushac vs Helena, Round 2, let's go."
