She was still confused why Glen went there by himself considering it's only a small issue, he could have asked on of his employee to do it.
When they arrived, glen hug her as usual after greeting her. He narrowed his eyes after seeing Mr. Chu with her but after she explained the situation he nodded as understanding.
She also asked if he had a free time after this, she wanted to clear the air between them specially what happened in the casino.
After some time, the judge looked at them and sign the papers and give it back to Glen.
The man turned to her and shake her hand while smiling. Even she can't read this thought she can see how gloomy his mood was.
They decided to leave the court room, then she turned to Mr. Chu and bowed at him.
"Mr Chu, I am afraid that you weren't able to watch how I handle this case. However, I will have another trial after two days, if you're free I can give you the time and place" she said pertaining about the murder case she was handling. The man nodded at her and bi his goodbye.
She thought that Glen and Mr Chu were friends but ever since they met, the two didnt spoke even one word to each other
"shall we go?" Glen turned at her as he speaks. She doesn't know why but his voice was so attractive to her ears she nodded at him as response and they both left the building.
They decided to go to the restaurant next to Ken Chu's office, she left her car in there, so she asked Glen if it's fine so she can drive herself back home.
After the casino Daniella has been avoiding all the Italian restaurant, with that, they decided to eat at the stakes house.
As they entered, the smell of the grilled beef was all over the place. She twisted her lips as her mouth started to droll.
The waiter welcomed them and show the available table.
Glen was being a gentleman. He pulled a chair for Daniella and she express her thank you with a smile.
The waiter can feel the sweetness in the air. As he hand them the menu he looked at Glen and speak up.
"what would you and your wife like for a drink sir?" the waiter was smiling from ear to ear and turned his look between them.
Daniella lifted her head to look at the assuming waiter and smiled at him.
"we're not a couple, but I would like a glass of red wine" then she handed him the menu and look at Glen.
He ordered the stakes and the same wine as her.
Daniella can see that the waiter was embarrassed and in rush to leave them alone.
After the waiter left, they both stared at each other and smile the same time.
"I needed to correct him "she bit her lips after saying that. She knew very well what his feeling was towards her, and to her it's a little awkward if she will not correct the waiter.
"that's fine. You are tight, we are not couple" he sighed as he said it.
She can see that his eyes were sad with that she placed her hand on his hand that was on the table and look at him.
"I hope you will find someone" after saying that she take her hand back and looked away.
She now feel embarrassed.
"anyway, I heard that you and Evan broke up" he said, she looked back at him and she can see that his eyes were gloomy as he speaks. She really wanted to clear him everything. To her, he is a friend and only friend, nothing more.
"about that,, this was supposed to be secret, but I don't want to give you a false hope or anything." She took a deep sighed and put her hands together.
She lifted her face and look at him directly without blinking. She knows that what she is about to say will hurt him, but she prefer to tell him the truth than later.
Glen sit up straight and put his elbow on the table and stared back at her. He was too focused on her face that he didn't noticed the ring on her right hand.
"I am married " she lifted her right hand and but her lips after saying it.

It took some minutes before Glen was able to get back to reality. He became uncomfortable and moved his body and laid back to the chair. He crossed his arms togethers and look at her while pressing his lips together

"you and Evan broke up, so who is your husband?" she can hear the suspicion in his voice. She pouted her lips after realizing that Glen must have thought that she was lying.
But she and Evan decided to keep it a secret and only Kirby and the judge knows about their marriage .
She looked at him and swallowed hard.
"well, it's a secret for now so I can't really reveal who he is "she said in a low voice and she can see that his eyebrow raised and nodded.
"I understand, anyway let's eat." He smiled at her and at the same time the food came. They enjoyed the stakes and even had four glass of wine.
They spent almost three hours in the restaurant talking. She explained to him the situation on how the mafia boss kidnapped the princess and she was just trying to help. She was so thankful that Glen was very understandable and said that he will forget it.
After their chat , they both left the restaurant.
Daniella felt relief after their talk, while Glen was showing his gloomy expression but deep inside, he felt the pain of losing someone again.
Glen offered to walk her to the parking space. She parked her car in the basement of Ken Chu's office.
As he saw her getting into her car , he grab her hand place both of his hand to her cheeks. A serious expression was written all over his face. With that he opens his mouth to speak.
"Daniella, if you had met me first. Will you choose me?"
He can see that she was surprised with his word since she keeps on blinking her eyes. It was too adorable looking at her shocked face and her thin glossy lips were slightly open, before he can think, his face moved quickly and kissed her in the lips.
