Alex was now eight, and he had his tail wrapped around a sturdy tree branch and was doing pull-ups with it. He had learned from the original dragon ball series that while the saiyans tail was their weak point, it could also be trained to prevent that. Besides his physical strength, Alex was focusing on training his dragon body and boosted gear so that there would be less questions when he fought in the future. Being the red dragon emperor was a lot easier to explain than some random devil, or an entirely new being that no one knew existed.
As he was training at the park, he heard some other kids playing nearby. He recognized a few of them from his elementary school. After a few moments however, he heard another kid shout, and looked over only to almost fall out of the tree. Alex swiftly made his way to the ground, and looked over at issei Hyoudou. After talking to Ddraig, he learned of a way to help issei be part of the future battles, but he would be a lot weaker than he was supposed to be originally.
According to Ddraig, issei seemed to have a high compatibility with dragon powers, even to the point that he became a full humanoid dragon. So Ddraig reasoned that he might respond well to having dragon energy pumped into his body similar to how Akeno and Rias removed it after trading his arm, just not as suggestively. The problem was that issei was severely lacking in basic training.
As Alex recalled, issei was extremely into hero shows. So he thought of a way to convince him to train if he ran into him as a child. He walked over to issei, and introduced himself.
"I'm Alex, nice to meet you." Issei looked over at the new kid, only to be taken aback at how different Alex looked due to him constantly working out. Alex was strong enough now that even regular adults would have a hard time against him, but compared to the ridiculous strength used by the main characters later he was still severely lacking. Alex unwrapped his tail from around his waist, which only made issei even more interested, as he was into this worlds version of dragon ball the most.
"THAT TAIL!! Are you a Saiyan?!" Alex smiled, the bait was a taken.
"yep, but it's a secret. I'm looking for someone to help find dragon balls, but there's no one strong enough." Alex sighed. Since he made a show of using the tail, issei was able to see through the disguising. Alex didn't mind doing this, because even if he told someone they wouldn't believe a seven year old. As issei was getting more excited, Alex pointed at him with dramatics and said,
"But you might be able to get strong enough to help me! But I'm not too sure about your determination. So I'll make a deal with you, if you manage to tag me before the end of the day today, I'll give you some ki to help train. If you keep up your training until we meet again in the future, I'll take you as a real disciple!" Alex then created a small ball of ki in his hand to prove his point. As soon as issei saw it he quickly let it go out due to how exhausting using ki was still. Before issei could say anything, Alex immediately ran the other direction.
Issei then proceeded to chase Alex around the entire park until the sun was nearly going down. As they were having so much "fun" neither of the parents wanted to ruin it. Due to his constant training, it was impossible for issei to catch Alex. Eventually issei collapsed, and the chase ended.
"Huff, huff, I huff, almost got you, huff." Alex then walked up to issei and helped him up. As issei sat up Alex put his left hand against his back, and channeled Ddraig's dragon energy into him. Issei didn't know what was going on, but he felt as if he suddenly filling up with energy, and that he could run an entire race. He realized Alex must be giving him "ki" and looked at him in confusion since he didn't tag him. Alex saw his look and explained,
"Even though you didn't tag me, you still chased me the whole day. Keep training and like I said and I'll take you as my disciple someday. Then the two of us will travel the world training while surrounded by tons of beautiful women!" Alex threw in the last part, as issei was most likely already a pervert due to his grandfathers influence. As he expected, as soon as he mentioned the women issei was suddenly grinning widely and shouted,
"YES, AND THERE WILL BE TONS OF BIG OPPAI!!!" Alex grimaced slightly, but didn't say anything. Even if issei forgot about the ki, he might keep up the training for the sake of the women. Well, Alex didn't think he'll see him again until he entered Kuoh academy. If he gave up training, then Alex would simply leave him be. Issei then left with his mother, and Alex asked Ddraig,
'Well, did it work?'
<Indeed, so that was supposed to be my partner? Well, the energy should be enough to help him train properly until he reaches high school. Even if he doesn't, it will disperse naturally in several years. If he does keep training then just keep providing him with dragons energy, and he'll start to develop a dragons power. He won't be as powerful, but he'll be able to hold his own in battles.> Alex nodded as he listened to Ddraig's words. He then checked the system and saw what he had been waiting three years for,
