Qi Min was lying on her stomach in a flustered manner. She felt an excruciating pain within her body, as though Long Sijue had kicked her innards into a pulp. Blood streamed non-stop out of her mouth.
“Young master, I’ve been framed! I have nothing to do with what just happened! Please don’t believe what Su Qianxun told you. She’s trying to frame me!” Qi Min rose and looked at Long Sijue with tears in her eyes.
“How dare you still try to lie to us! That chick has fainted again. She’s still unconscious as we speak! How could she have framed you? Butler, slap some sense into her!” Tang Zui was seriously irritated by the sight of Qi Min.
The butler immediately went over and slapped her twice across the face. Qi Min felt her head spin, and her ears kept ringing.
“Believe me, I’ve been framed. I have nothing to do with this. It’s not my fault!” Qi Min had already planned to deny every accusation no matter what, even if they tried to beat her into submission.
She looked at the stone-faced man as tears streamed down her face. But when he returned her gaze, the look in his eyes was cold and sharp like countless icicles, slicing through her heart in a slow as well as painful manner.
Qi Min was utterly heartbroken. To her, the heartbreak was far more agonizing than the physical pain she was feeling. She could not believe that even though she grew up in Jin Garden with Long Sijue, he did not care about her at all.
“You’re seriously pushing your luck! There are surveillance cameras all over Jin Garden. We have a recording of what happened at the swimming pool earlier! We know everything you did!” Tang Zui wanted to give the young woman a smack on the cheek so badly, but he did not want to dirty his hand by touching such a despicable person.
Qi Min’s gaze froze abruptly. She had always assumed that only certain places such as the living room were equipped with surveillance cameras. She did not expect there to be one in the back garden.
She panicked and suddenly scrambled towards Long Sijue on all fours. She reached for Long Sijue’s feet and clutched at the hem of his pants. “Young master, I know I’m in the wrong. I didn’t mean to harm her. I really didn’t mean it. Please forgive me this once for old times’ sake!” she cried as she begged for his mercy.
“What are you saying?” Long Sijue stared coldly at her. His gaze was indifferent and emotionless, as if he was looking at a complete stranger.
“Young master, I grew up in Jin Garden, and have always been by your side…”
“What now? Is this how the servants are these days? Undisciplined and self-entitled? Your mother and I go way back, but I have nothing to do with you. You don’t even have the right to appear in front of me, and you’re asking me to forgive you for old times’ sake? Do you think that you have the right?”
Qi Min was in disbelief as she listened to what Long Sijue said. She did not expect him to say such callous words to her.
“To me, you’re less than a mere cleaner in Jin Garden! You’re just a freeloader who’s overstayed your welcome!”
After Long Sijue said that, he lifted his foot and kicked her without mercy. He used as much force as his last kick, and Qi Min spat out another mouthful of blood.
However, to her, what Long Sijue just said to her in an indifferent tone was crueler. His words mercilessly tore her fantasy into shreds. All those years, she had thought that she was special to him. She had always believed that she was adored and given special treatment in Jin Garden like a little princess because she was not a lowly servant like her mother. She could even come and leave the house as she pleased.
“Give her a good beating. Don’t hold back!” When Long Sijue thought about how the woman nearly killed Su Qianxun, the look in his eyes became extremely murderous.
Tang Zui sneered and sat down beside him. ‘A heinous and shameless woman like her deserves to be beaten to death!’
Two bodyguards walked over with long whips in their hands and began to whip Qi Min with all their might.
