When Gu Mian saw the woman who had just walked in, she furrowed her eyebrows a little. There was gauze on Lan Qingcheng’s neck and she was in a hospital gown. Her face looked extremely pale.

“I’m glad that you’re all right. What just happened really scared me out of my wits. Thankfully both of us are safe and sound now. Please don’t blame Jue, he was just very worried about me. He knows that I’m extremely afraid of snakes.” Lan Qingcheng wore a shy expression as she said this.
