Chapter 1147: Where is my Jiangjiang?
Another Chinese New Year.
On Lunar New Year Eve, Nian Junting and Luosang brought Little Apple to the Nian villa in the afternoon. They would only return to Tianhu villa at night. Mo Jin, Xu Zhengxuan and Mo Liuxi were there as well, along with Nian Qingyun and Nian Xi.
After looking around and not finding Murong Cheng, Nian Qingyun frowned and asked, “Junting, where is your mother?”
“Didn’t Nian Xi tell you? Ma and Uncle Jiang brought grandma and grandpa overseas to spend the New Year,” Nian Junting said casually as he rocked the bassinet gently. He didn’t catch Nian Xi shooting him looks.
Nian Qingyun felt as if someone had just poured a bucket of cold water over his head. He turned to look at his daughter.
“Pa, look at the bright side,” Nian Xi was soft-hearted and comforted him right away, “There’s really no hope of you getting back together with Ma.”
Nian Qingyun’s expression was ghastly. As he turned and saw Xu Zhengxuan pouring water for Mo Jin in the living room, a wave of jealousy came over him. “How come they can get back together, but not me and your mother? If I didn’t have a job, I could dote on your mother twenty-four hours a day too. I just don’t have the option.”
Nian Junting added casually, “They had a misunderstanding; they didn’t cheat on each other physically or mentally. They both have each other in their hearts. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have stayed single for over twenty years.”
“Exactly,” Nian Xi nodded her head, “You and Ma were together for more than twenty years but you betrayed her. Your marriage isn’t as strong as their short two or three years together. You should really move on, we’re all so old now. Besides, I think Ma really feels at peace now. Uncle Jiang is very good to grandma and grandpa, too.”
“You should just concentrate on giving back to our country then. When you retire, you can help take care of my brother’s child.”
“Yeah, I’ll take care of my grandson while your mother plays and has fun with that b*stard outside,” Nian Qingyun was getting angry just thinking about it, “And it’s a little brat that looks just like your brother. I can already tell he inherited all those annoying traits.”

Nian Qingyun grabbed her arm gently and said, “When are you going to get married anyway? You’re going to be an old maid soon. Anyone who laughs at me is probably jealous.”

Nian Xi was reminded of her dog, “Oh right, where is my Jiangjiang?”
She went around looking for him and finally found him in the backyard. When she found Jiangjiang, Xiaosi was pouncing on him and the two dogs were embroiled in an intense fight.
