Chapter 88: Kidnapped (2)

Lin Xinyu had to turn his face away to the side and cough twice.

“What are you guys planning?” he asked. On the way there, he could almost guess who had grabbed him. He didn’t feel that afraid now.

Brother Ming observed that Lin Xinyu was young (16 years old) and had the appearance of a young master. Remaining unafraid and calm, he asked, “I heard that you alone took away my brothers’ arms?”

Lin Xinyu looked upwards and replied, “Yes.”

Brother Ming didn’t quite believe him. Bending down, he touched Lin Xinyu’s arm to gauge his strength.

Lin Xinyu hated when people touched him like this, especially men. Twisting his body, he shouted, “Don’t touch me!”

Two flames of anger shot out of his eyes. Startled, Ming Ge let go and asked, “I heard that you easily disabled their arms. How did you do that?”

At this moment, the phone in Lin Xinyu’s pocket rang. The elder brother who’d lead the attack on Zhao Qiang the day before yesterday quickly took it out from his pocket and hung up. When the phone rang again, Brother Ming said, “Let him pick it up.”

Lin Xinyu grasped the phone. The hostility in his body dissipated as he answered, softly, “What’s the matter? I can’t wait outside for you to return tonight…”

Before he could finish recounting the trend of events, they grabbed the phone back, hung up, and quickly dug out its hardware.

Laughing, Brother Ming retorted, “Kid, do you know anything of reality?”

“Right. Who just called you? It sounded like a little girl.”

Lin Xinyu’s pupils contracted as he stared at Brother Ming. His eyes darkened as if saying, “If you dare to have any ideas about her…”

Brother Ming’s heart stiffened and he chuckled, “Don’t be nervous. I don’t plan to harm you. The reason why I invited you over is that I want you to teach my brothers your skills. You know that, in our line of work, we need a good hand.”

“What if I don’t want to?” Lin Xinyu asked.

Brother Ming scratched his inch-long hair and replied, “If you teach us, we can be brothers. If you don’t, we will naturally become enemies.”

“You know…” He raised his chin and pointed at Zhao Qiang, “This is just a small example.”

Lin Xinyu normally would not agree to this. Agreeing would go against his moral compass. If Lin Xin heard about this, she would definitely scold him.

Noticing Lin Xinyu’s hesitation, Brother Ming continued, “I heard you have a sister. Did she just call you?”

Lin Xinyu’s expression sank as he thought, ‘If he doesn’t agree with Brother Ming, then Brother Ming will naturally not let him go.’

He even implicated Lin Xin. Lin Xinyu knew that he wasn’t just some paper tiger. He did not ask for anything excessive. To him, his requests were as easy to complete as lifting a finger.

Lin Xinyu nodded and replied, “I want to go to school. I won’t take long.”

Grasping his shoulder, Brother Ming answered, “It’s fine. Come any time you’re free.”

Lin Xinyu frowned and warned, “Release your hand.”

“Okay, okay. Brothers, we won’t have to fear any more beatings from him~” Pulling his arm away, Brother Ming dusted off his hands. He then pointed at Zhao Qiang, who laid on the ground, and asked, “What do you say we should do with him?”

Lin Xinyu glanced at Zhao Qiang, who feigned dead and curled up into a ball, and answered, “I have nothing to do with him.”

At those words, one of the followers extracted the stinky socks gagging Zhao Qiang.

Zhao Qiang shouted tearfully, “Lin Xinyu, you motherf*cker! Say it again! That you have nothing to do with me! When they asked me where you lived, I planned to take that to my grave. You better watch out. If I die, I’ll be payin’ visits to Lin Xin in her sleep!”

Lin Xinyu adjusted his words, “Do as you like, as long as you don’t beat him to death.”

This infuriated Zhao Qiang. In his attempt to reduce the number of punches that connected, he tucked his head in and rolled on the ground. After rolling for a while, he heard laughter.

“Haha, he left. Not bad. You’re rather loyal. Just follow me from now on.”

Lin Xinyu strode out of the abandoned warehouse and called Lin Xin.
