"Henan don't go there you will spoil your clothes," her caretaker was worried over her playing in the garden when servants were watering plants.
Today was her birthday and his father promised her whatever she asked as gift. she was happy, her dress most expensive one. She was happy to meet these hardworking people and their families and she made friends too, a farmer girl was just like her age but always hiding behind her mother stature even during lunch she was shy to eat anything, Henan saw her and invited her to eat with her on her table. she feared that this girl of General may anger on her so she followed her and do what Henan said to do, like to eat with her and talk to her. She gifted Henan a cotton stuffed hand made doll which was pretty and her cloth were well stitched, it was beautiful indeed.
Henan accepted without any objection.
In the evening grand celebration was arranged and many noble families were invited, they brought expensive gifts but they did not appealed to her much.
She played with the children, some broke her toys, though she was upset but did not showed to them her anger.
Garden was beautifully decorated for guests, after some rituals her father asked her what kind of gift she wanted to have. "Father I wanted you to live always by my side, It will make me happy, and you will live with here for one complete month without going on mission," she requested earnestly, he thought for a while a nodded in approval.
She was over joyed to see that her wish was granted.
Now her broken toys did not meant to her at all.
While Children were playing, a child of noble came to her and asked, "Where did you get this doll?" she was daughter of a noble. She said, "A farmer girl has become my friend and she gifted this doll to me," noble girl made faces at her answer and said, "You made a framer girl your friend, you should be feeling embarrassed then, right?" "What does it means?" she asked blankly.
"You are such a naive, you are daughter of famous General yet you fall to make poor girl your friend, see I am noble and my friends are noble too," she pointed toward her friends.
Her eyes got wet with the harsh words of this noble, their parents saw this, her father was speechless over the attitude of this noble child but her parents hurried to bow and asked for pardon, "She is child and don't know how should act," they were embarrassed and their backbone got wet with fear of General.
He waved his hand and went to console his daughter.
He grappled her head against his chest and soothe her by few funny things she did today.
Soon she forgot her weeping and started dozing in his embrace.
Next morning she asked her caretaker where was her father after she took breakfast, she told that General was in his study.
"What are you reading father?" she sneaked into her father study and asked bubbling her cheeks, her governess had just helped her in eating her lunch and she hurriedly fleeting toward her father's study.
Her father was reading a letter which was sent to him by King this morning.
Though he just started to read with serious expressions but as he heard his daughter close to him, he shifted his eyes on her with a smile, "Dear Daughter! King sent an order to me, let's read it," he pretended that he was talking in front of his master, and he was pleased on his own manners. With said that he cleaned remaining morsel from her lips end, which she did not stay with her governess to let her clean.
He calmly rose up her on his writing desk and helped her sit there with ease, taking other things away.
As he read the contents on letter and his expressions little changed, since she was observing father, her expressions also turned curious as immediately wanted to know what was written in this letter.
Before she could question, her father acknowledged, "King wishes to see me in Palace," her appearance looked gloomy, this meant she would be again alone because her mother was no more since birth of her and always waiting for the time to meet father which was rare in a weak, seeing her gloomy expressions her father further read, "King also suggested to bring my fairy daughter at palace because King also knew that I love my daughter much."
She listened and instantaneously jumped to embrace her father, both hugged and smiled in their own way. Her cheeks got pinkish with this exultant news.
She wore her best silk robs, her governess packed necessary clothing and accessories, she would accompany them because someone was necessary to guide little girl all the time.
They left their palace like house and were soon on the way to kingdom palace.
She was all the time questioning about various things, sometime her father would nod his head only and sometime explain.
This was her first time that she traveled with her father and saw many thing those were unknown to her.
She saw the scenery then the garden which was before the entrance, long pathway which was filled with rows of elegant flowers, she looked innocently on every sliver difference from this place and her residing place, and it was simply four times bigger than their own house,
when they walked past inner garden she felt that all the flowers were absolutely different from her house,
they were extraordinary striking and attractive but she could not ask her father to stop that she wanted to pluck one for the reason that she remembered her governess words that
'if you are a guest in other's house you must not take things without the permission of owner'.
She only sighed in her pure way.
