Among killed were for example Branch Director, Kamemoch and Special-Class Ghoul Investigator Hōji Kōsuke, formerly Associate Special-Class Ghoul Investigator, but was promoted as some Special Classes were killed by Lucien and his schemes. Hōji Kōsuke was personally killed by Tatara and his heart was ripped out of his body, while he was alive. This was something that Lucien gave Tatara as a reward for agreeing to be Holy Imperial Knight to which Tatara already agreed.
