Jonas had circled the Shadow Wolves' campsite two times before he could find where they were keeping Lord Kendel.

Maybe because they felt there was no threat out there, that it was so easy for Jonas to sneak passed the guards and enter the tent.

Inside, Lord Kendel was lying down on his side with both of his hands cuffed behind his back.

Walking over, Jonas pulled out his dagger ready to take aim at Kendel's chest.

Step by step, Jonas made his way over. Perhaps his killing intent was too strong, for right as Jonas bought down his dagger, Kendel opened his one good eye and dodge the attack.

Hearing noise coming from within, the guards posted outside walked in to check.

Seeing that he missed his chance and that the soldiers were alerted, Jonas forgot his dagger in the dirt and made his escape the same way he came in, out the back. Stripping off the soldier uniform he stole, he left it by the tent and walked away.

By the time the soldiers entered, Jonas was gone and Lord Kendel was back in the place they left him, but the dagger was gone.

"You find anything?"

"Nope, you?"

"No..."

"Maybe, he screamed in his sleep..."

The two guards left the tent and went back to their post outside.

Lord Kendel waited five minutes before opening his eye again. Seeing that no one was around, he sat up and pulled the dagger from underneath his butt.

"I don't know who you were, but thanks for the dagger..." Kendel proceeded to work the weapon into the cuffs to get himself freed.

It took thirty minutes of twisting and stabbing the keyhole to the cuffs for Kendel to finally get them off.

"Damn these things..." Kendel whispered as he threw the cuffs to the side.

Quietly crawling to the back where he saw his assassin escape from, Kendel rolled himself underneath the edge of the tent and snuck out.

"Ha! Lady luck seems to be on my side..." Kendel said looking up at the evening sky and the soldier's uniform laying beside him.

Donning the uniform, Kendel walked swiftly but cautiously to the edge of the Shadow Wolves' campsite. There he made his way to the motocyks parked at the back gate of his estate.

Working on getting the motocyk ready, he did see a person sneak up behind him.

"I knew you would come this way..." Jonas walked out from the shadow of a building.

Jonas knew he couldn't kill Lord Kendel within the campsite as it would be too loud, but if Lord Kendel ran away...

Startled, Kendel spun around and squinted his eyes to see who followed him.

"Oh, it's you..." Kendel thought he got caught by one of the Shadow Wolves soldiers. Seeing that it was just Jonas, his initial fear subsided.

"Yes, it's me." Jonas walked further towards Kendel.

"You alone...?" Kendel looked left and right for any moving shadows or people.

"Yup, just me." Jonas held out his arms to out show no weapons in his hands.

Kendel size Jonas up and down, the last time he saw Jonas was at the Udava clan. He didn't think much of him then and he sure doesn't think much of him now.

"What do you want?"

"You should know what I want."

"Tsk...don't waste my time on stuff that happened a long time ago..." Kendel turned his back on Jonas, to continue with his motocyk.

"Don't waste your time....? Long-time ago...? Lord Kendel, I don't think you understand why you are here?"

Just as Jonas' words fell, shouts from the campsite flooded the air, drawing Kendel's attention away.

"Hmm... I think they have noticed your escape..." Jonas stated what Kendel feared.

"Move! I need to leave!" Kendel tried to walk the motocyk out of the back gate, but Jonas stepped in his way.

"Lord Kendel, don't you realize it yet? This is where you die!" Jonas swung at Kendel, making him release his hold on the motocyk to take several steps back.

"You...! You're the one who attacked me in the tent!"

"Yes."

*Sigh*

"I'm also the one who let you get away..." Jonas pointed at the soldier uniform Kendel was wearing.

"Hahaha...you lured me here to kill me?... You!? Hahaha..." Kendel laughed at the sight of Jonas.

"Yes...me." Jonas charged Kendel.

Kendel was still laughing until he felt the power radiating off of Jonas' body.

When did this f***er become stronger?

Kendel was shocked by the amount of power Jonas was putting out. Though he was nowhere near Prince Ailwin and Lord Tasar, he could still give him a good fight; especially in his condition right now.

Jonas decided to put everything into this fight, he didn't want to leave Lord Kendel a chance at escaping from his hands.

Meeting head-on, Jonas threw out a series of punches and kicks to Kendel's body, most of which Kendel wasn't able to avoid due to Ailwin's beating earlier.

Damnit! If I didn't face Prince Ailwin earlier, I would be able to kill this f***er with a flick of my wrist!

Kendel cursed Jonas for taking advantage of his weakened state, to seek his revenge.

"Argh!" Taking a hit to the chest, Kendel cough up blood.

His body was slowing down, he wouldn't be able to keep up with Jonas' fast moves any longer. He needed to find a way to escape before this f***er kills him or the Shadow Wolves finds him. Even now he could hear the soldiers moving closer.

Remembering the dagger at his back, Kendel started to plan his next attack.

"You know I remember your mother's screams and how your father looked when I slit his throat after seeing his wife's dead body. I enjoyed it....hahaha..."

Jonas' mind blanked out as he was reminded of the horrors of that night.

"You dare have the audacity to laugh at my parents' deaths...!?" Rage and loathing painted Jonas' eyes red as he once again charged at Kendel.

Good, just like that. Charge to your death! Kendel smirked as he readies the dagger in his hand.

When Jonas was within arm's length of his body, he pulled out his weapon and aims for Jonas' neck.

Blocking Kendel's sneak attack with his right hand, Jonas condenses a ball of energy with his left and smashes it into Kendel's head.

Unprepared for Jonas' strike, Kendel's mind was left wide open to the damaging hit.

"You'll like this gift I have for you. At first, I was going to just kill you and be done with it, but when you started talking about my parents I decided that this would be the better choice. Sweet dreams..."

Kendel stumbled backward and grabbed his head as acute pain erupted throughout his body. Crying and pleading, Kendel begged for the pain to stop. This went on for ten minutes before Kendel gave one last scream before dropping to the ground.

Jonas' last attack made Kendel dreamed of being tortured by his ownself until his mind and body couldn't take it anymore and he died.

Jonas picked up Kendel's dead body and placed it on the motocyk before sending it out the back gate.

Turning around Jonas dusted his hands of dirt and walked back to the house he shared the Mika and the others.

At this time the soldiers had already searched the whole campsite and were now scouring the estate for Lord Kendel.
