"What are those?"

"Oh, these! These are you get out of death card. If you sallow the liquid, you'll live.... If you don't two more sleeper cells will be ejected."

"Wha- You can't do this? We are heroes, everyone on board know this?"

Fear of what was in the bottle over rode Pace's fear of the Commander. He started to struggle in the soldier's hands as him pulled him from the floor. Secretary Jun came in front of Pace holding the bottle.

"So?... So what if they know your heroes? You think you have control of this fleet and everyone on board. Just as easily as a ejected Lila I can eject you if you don't believe me. Go head cry for help."

Pace looked around the room. Staring into the eyes of the two soldiers, Secretary Jun and the Commander's there was no one here who he could help him.

"HELP! Someone trying to murder me! HELP! Anyone... someone please! HELP ME!" Unlike Pace, Kara still though she had a chance. Screaming at the top of her lungs. Kara screamed and screamed til her throat was soar. Even then she continue to croak out pleads.

"Is there anything left? No. Then let us continue."

Secretary Jun pop the top to the first bottle. Tilting Kara head backwards, the soldier pinch her nose. Having no choice but to open her mouth for breath. Secretary Jun poured the liquid down into her mouth. Clamping her lips shut, he massaged throat to get her to sallow. He did this all so fluidly that you know it wasn't his first time.

Kara's eyes bulged at the taste of the green liquid as it touched her tongue, travelled down her thorax and settled in her stomach. Pace watched all this happened in horror. Never did it cross his mind that the Commander would do something like this to them.

"Release her." The command was given to the soldier restraining Kara. With cuff off and arms no longer holding her up, Kara fell forward. Trying to vomit whatever was put into her body, Kara stuck fingers down her throat. Yet she couldn't get anything to come up. Panicking she beat at her stomach. Anything she get that liquid out of her body.

Then she felt it. The only thing she can use to describe the feeling was a sugar rush. She felt power flow down into her arms and legs. Heat radiated from her stomach spreading outwards. At first it felt so comforting and good. Kara laughed at the feeling. She was on a high.

Then she crashed. The heat exploded. Her body was burning from the inside out. Kara's body contorted this way and that. Sweat and tears mixed together to run down her face. Her screams weren't the only sounds you heard from the room. Cracking sounds, were coming from her body. As if her bones and muscles were breaking and tearing.

Pace never seen anything like this. Seeing Kara's body bend in ways he never thought were possible, and the sounds. He was so scared, he didn't realize he pissed he pants.

The Commander watched and waited with a stoney expression. The affect of the liquid on Kara's body was one he had never seen before on the previous trials. This pegged his interest.

"Maybe you guys have some use after all."

This was only over heard by Secretary Jun as everyone else's attention was solely focused on Kara. Wanting to see how Pace's body would react to the liquid. The Commander told Secretary Jun to continue.

Sensing movement from the side, Pace looked over to see Secretary Jun coming towards him with another bottle. Not wanting to fall into the same situation as Kara. Pace renewed his struggling. But with two soldiers now holding him down. Pace soon followed in the same steps as Kara's.

Pace and Kara rolled around on the floor for hours. Blood seeped from their crevices soaking the carpet. Their bowels had both been emptied to join the blood in the carpet. It was both a disgusting and an interesting sight. This is the longest anyone has lasted on this much of the liquid at once.

Remembering the first time they found this liquid in the rainforest. Thinking it was just some tree sap. Maybe if they had left it where it was there wouldn't have been so much damage done to their world.

Truthfully this green liquid was the really reason for the war. They never found how this substance made it to their world, but when they found out what it could do. The possibilities were endless. Few countries knew the truth and with limited supplies, war was enviable. In the end, this liquid took billions of lives.

Turning his attention back to the two on the floor. They seem to have calmed down somewhat.

"Secretary Jun, have the medics take samples and run through the usual testing. Afterwards put them to deep sleep."

"Yes, sir." Secretary Jun walked out to get medics and cleaners.

The Commander's eye watched to two a little longer. Their bodies were still twitching even though they have long passed out from the pain.

"Congratulations, you get to live." The Commander walked back behind his chair, as the medics and cleaner came into the room.
