It took Lord Salihn a month to make Kamryn the future wife of Prince Thallan after meeting him that night.

With their wedding scheduled to take place just before the new school year; Lord Mano was not happy. He tried every way he could to get the King to change his mind. Unfortunately, he has a wife who wasn't helping.

While Mano was doing everything he could to get the engagement called off, Lady Jaelah was doing everything she could to keep the wedding on its course. Even going so far as to use her father's clan, the Holone, to threaten Mano and the Amara into letting Kamryn marry Prince Thallan.

Over the centuries the Holone clan has made a name for themselves in the government and has used its influence to do whatever they pleased. Their cruel and sadistic deeds have almost reached the level of the royal family's.

With an opportunity before them to create a connection with the future king of Kaia Kingdom. It didn't take long for Jaelah to convince her uncle and brothers to help her.

To force Lord Mano's hands, they first disrupted the Amara clan's businesses with hired goons, who would destroy their properties under the claim of collecting taxes.

Then they issued a warning to the public that Amara clan's orchards is harmful. Making it impossible to sell their honey stock. Even to business who they already have contracts with.

Busy trying to stop the Holone clan's schemes, Mano had little time to work on stopping the wedding. Stressed and out of ideas, Mano sought Lyra's help.

Although he knew it is wrong of him to ask for her help on Lady Jaelah and Kamryn, considering what they did to Mika, he realized he had no one else to lean on. Hoping she would be able to put her anger aside for the betterment of the clan and help him, Mano walked over to Lyra's courtyard.

Inside her room, Mika had already guessed that her father would show up seeking her mother's comfort. So when Saavi came rushing in with news that Lord Mano has shown up, Mika wasn't surprised. Having reminded her mother constantly of their goal, she trusts that Lyra would be able to steer her father in the direction they needed him to go. Their conversation will be the deciding factor on how the rest of her plan will play out.

To take her mind off of her parent's conversation, Mika called Kaze.

*Beep Beep Beep* *Beep Beep Beep*

Kaze had just taken a nice long soak to relax his sore muscles after a day of intense training with the Shadow Wolves. He was in bed and heading towards a deep sleep when his wrist band went off.

He would have ignored it, but he knew it was Mika calling and he didn't know what the girl would do to him if she ever found out he purposely snubbed her call.

Sitting up, Kaze grudgingly answered the called.

"Hello..."

"You sleeping?"

"...no."

"Good, I didn't want to wake you." Mika's coy smile made Kaze want to slam the end button and throw the wrist band across the room.

"I need you to go tell Prince Ailwin something..."

"Right now...?"

"Yes."

"It's the middle of the night..."

"I'm aware of that. I have eyes, I can see." Mika turned her monitor towards her windows, showcasing the beautiful night sky.

"Wouldn't it be easier to just comm him directly?" He does not want to leave the nice warm bed, he just got comfortable in. Plus how was he going to knock on a prince's bedroom door at night?

"What do you take me for!? I'm a young maiden, I can't call a man in the middle of the night!" Kaze looked at Mika confusingly.

"Aren't you calling me?"

"Huh?...oh, yeah. I guess you can call yourself that...well since your up anyways, go be a gentleman and deliver my message."

Kaze felt he only had himself to blame for that insult. He should have just went to Prince Ailwin's room without protest.

Transversing his way around the estate, Kaze made it to prince Ailwin's bedroom with direction from the other soldiers. Standing at the door were two guards that stopped him from entering.

"What's your business here?" One of the men questioned as they held Kaze back with their spears.

"I need to speak with Prince Ailwin about a personal matter. Can you tell him I'm here?" Kaze looked at the two men pleadingly.

Having seen Kaze around with both General Gilwenys and the Prince, the men thought it would only be wise to let Ailwin know about this matter.

Rising his hand to the side of his head, one of the guards pressed an earpiece.

"Prince Ailwin, there is a...?"

"Kaze."

"A Kaze out here wanting to speak with you about a personal matter...okay. You can enter." The two men stepped aside to allow Kaze the enter.

When Kaze entered to room Ailwin was leaning back against the headboard of the massive bed, reading over documents.

Kaze mentally shooked his head.

These two masters go well together.

Taking another look at Ailwin relaxed form, Kaze wondered how confident you have to be to stay composed in bed when meeting guest in your bedroom...
