Already the green-eyed monster from knowing that Kamryn was going to marry a prince, and now seeing these gifts made Lula downright bitter.

"These...these are all for you...?" Lula's hands reached out to touch one of the presents.

"Yes..." Kamryn left her seat to stop her sister hands from getting too close to her presents. Experiencing her sister's sticky fingers first hand in her mother's room, Kamryn wasn't going to let Lula have a chance to touch anything of her's.

"All of them are for you?... No one sent anything for me, or even mom...?" Disappointed at being stopped from getting the necklace she spotted in the corner, Lula began to whine.

"Mom already received her's...but why would they send anything for you?" Kamryn was still upset with Lula. From the time their father had sent them away to school, Kamryn had only spoken to her sister when necessary.

"What!?... So, I'm the only one who didn't get anything! That's not fair!..."

"Not fair? You're not getting married." Kamryn turned to her maid, "See, my sister out..." Turning away from Lula's pleading eyes, Kamryn went back to admire her gifts while her maid shooed Lula out of the room.

Upset at the lack of attention she is experiencing, Lula ran towards her mother's room to complain.

Reaching the door, Lula could overhear her mother talking to someone.

"We only need to hold on for one more week...yes...the Amara clan will be in our hands....of course..." Lula moved in as close as possible to the door, trying to make out the conversation.

"Miss Lula?... What are you doing?" Jaelah's personal maid, Chalia, looked at Lula suspiciously.

"Umm...is my mother in? I need to speak to her..." Acting as if she has just arrived, Lula waits for the maid to check.

All talking from inside the room stop once Jaelah heard her maid's voice. Closing her video call, Jaelah wipes the comm logs and shuts off the screen. Moving away from the monitor, she quickly sat at her vanity before her maid walks in.

"Lady Jaelah...?"

"Hmm...?"

"Miss Lula wants to speak with you..."

"Let her in."

Moving aside, Lula enters looking around the room before facing her mother.

"Lula, what is the matter?" Jaelah watched as Lula searched the room.

Everything was in order nothing was out of place, Lula could find nothing on the conversation she just overheard. Frustrated that her mother and sister were leaving her out of their plans, Lula criticized her mother for favoriting Kamryn.

"Mom, this is not fair. You and Kamryn are making plans without me!"

"We are not." Jaelah sighed, she really didn't want to get into it with Lula today. She had other things that needed her attention.

"Yes, you are! Why is everyone treatin-"

"Lula! Enough already, you're giving me a headache." Massaging her temples, Jaelah walks to her serving table and pours herself some water.

Downing the water, Jaelah sighs in satisfaction at the cooling sensation going down her throat.

Looking at her daughter forlorn expression, she knew if she didn't distract her from this wedding and her call, Lula might ruin their plans.

"Right now, her sister is about to become the wife of Prince Thallan is just two more days. Do you know who Prince Thallan is?... He is the favored child of the king, the one who everyone says will be the next King!" Jaelah was dazed as she daydreamed about all that they were going to have in their hands.

Lula watched as her mother fond over her sister's marriage while she is being pushed to the side.

"What about me...?"

Jaelah snapped out of her little reverie at Lula's question. Looking at her youngest daughter, she couldn't help but admit she was a little disappointed in her.

Since their last attempt at getting rid of Mikaela, Jaelah and Kamryn have been making sure Lula stayed out of the loop. With so much at stake, they couldn't afford for her to mess things up.

"What do you mean? After your sister is married off, it will be your turn to hold center stage. All the gifts and attention will all be on you." Moving Lula to stand in front of her vanity mirror, Jaelah smooth Lula's hair as all her words put Lula in a trance.

"...But for you to get your dream wedding, we must first make sure her sister's wedding happens..." After all, who wouldn't want to marry the younger sister of the Empress?

"I want to be married to a Prince as well!" Lula demanded.

"Of course...I would never allow my daughters to marry just anyone."
