When the dust settled, everyone at the training grounds expected to see Saavi laying dead on the dirt, but to everyone's surprise she was still standing.

Saavi stood in the middle of her three attackers as they knelt on the floor in front of her, as if pay homage.

*Clap**Clap**Clap*

"Excellent!...wonderful, job! Ninety-seven!" Zaos' lone applause and scoring had the students wondering what was going on.

"Didn't she lose?"

"Why is she getting a higher score than the first guy...!"

"All she was stand there for the major of the test...!"

All the students complaints and question didn't go unnoticed by Professor Zaos, but he wasn't willing to answer any of them today. The day was going fast and there were still many people left to be tested.

Hearing Professor Zaos' praise and score, Saavi sighed in relief. Her plan had worked! When she felt the another two men go down and her powers coming back to her, she knew the only way she'll can survive is by controlling her attackers.

The two subordinates were easy enough, but the leader just wouldn't give in until the last minute.

When she finally felt him fall under her persuasion, they changed the course of their attacks to hit the ground, however the aftershocks and the strain of the fight still tore away at her body.

With her testing over with, Saavi left the men kneeling on the ground and walked back to Professor Zaos to bow before retaking her spot with the rest of the students. Only then did she release her control over the guards.

Coming out of the fuzzy haze Saavi's gifts had them under, the three guards were confused at first before the leader understood what happened. They lost.

"Thank You, Captain. Please see to your men." Professor Zaos dismissed them from the training grounds.

Helping his hurt comrades off the floor to go to the infirmary, the captain couldn't help to search among the new students for Saavi's figure.

Catching her eyes, he gave her a slight nod in acknowledgement and then continue on his way.

No one else might have caught that little interaction, but Mika did.

Sigh...I always knew my Saavi is a maneater...

With the guards out of the way and the training grounds cleared of the last battle, Professor Zaos wanted to continue.

"Okay, who's next?" Zaos looked at the group of new students in anticipation.

"Me." A female student stepped forward.

She had short bobbed hair that almost looked white with doll-like face and gunmetal grey eyes. She is short but not as short as Mika's 4'5'' stature. A fair complexion with rosiness in her cheeks. She was lovely.

Everyone turned to the beauty in aww. Many of the male students have been giving her heart-shaped eyes all today. Even Mika had to slap Jonas' arms a couple of times.

"You thinking of two-timing your husband, while he is slaving away at work for you...shame on Jonas...shame on you." Mika shook her head in dismay.

"Wha-No! Kaze can trust me-wait... First of all, Kaze is not my husband. Second, you were the one you sent to away, and lastly I wasn't staring at her because of that..." Jonas blushed as he explained away his relationship with Kaze.

"Mmm...sure whatever you say..." Mika turned away from Jonas.

"No, really. I was shocked because I believe that girl is from the-"

"My name is Celaena Ayire."

"The Ayire clan..." Zaos looked amazed.

Again murmurs broke out in the training grounds.

"Ayire clan...aren't they all dead?"

"Well, apparently not..."

"Is she telling the truth?"

"...that's right all Ayires have white hair...!"

"So she really is an Ayire!"

*Cough* *Cough*

"Quite, everyone... Miss Celaena, you may begin whenever you're ready." Professor Zaos has never been this excited in testing a group of new students before, each one that steps up seems to be better than the last.

It will has been many years since he last seen an Ayire use their gifts, he hoped she doesn't disappoint.

Mika stared at the young girl, walking towards the middle of the ring.

"...so she really is an Ayire..." Jonas whispered.

"The Ayire clan...?" Mika remembers reading about them, but for the moment she couldn't recall what she read.

"Yes, the Ayire clan are known for their gift of time." Jonas answered Mika question.

Ah, that's right. Now I remember...

Thinking back, Mika remembers reading a book on all the elite clans on Inay. One in particular had caught her eye at the time and it was the Ayire clan. A clan where all their members have control over time.

The clan is so mysterious that very little information can be found on them.

However, Mika sought out her mother's help on this problem, only to be told that they were all dead.
